Senior pets, special-needs pets, and animals recovering from surgery are in especially good hands with me. You'll get detailed updates and photos, and I'll follow your routine exactly as you'd do it yourself. My goal is simple: your pet stays calm and comfortable, and you get real peace of mind. I run my own care consulting business, so I have flexibility in my day and can plan visits around your pet's routine rather than squeezing them in. I keep a structured, organized schedule — a habit from nursing — so feedings, walks, and medications happen on time, every time. I'll confirm availability before each booking so I can give your pet my full attention. Your pet's safety is my top priority. My home has a fully fenced-in yard, so dogs can play, explore, and take potty breaks securely without ever being off-leash in an open area. I share my home with Murphy, my well-trained Goldendoodle. He's gentle and submissive, which makes him an easygoing companion for visiting dogs, including shy or nervous ones. He also has his own crate, so I can give each pet individual time and attention and keep things calm when a guest needs space.
“Mariah was AMAZING! Our sweet lab mutt has been experiencing some new anxiety post pandemic isolation. Lately she growls at other dogs who go near her food dish, and we were very nervous about leaving our previously always friendly and fun loving dog in another home. How wrong we were! I actually think staying with Mariah was therapeutic for our dog. She joined the pack seamlessly with Mariah's guidance and we felt confident that Mariah could set good boundaries for her. She cuddled and played with everyone, and loved sitting looking out on the beach in Mariah's fenced in yard. She had an absolute blast and I felt confident my dog was with someone who had a ton of experience and understood animal psychology. Mariah was a total sweetie and kept us posted on how our dog was doing with pictures and texts twice a day. I will definitely be booking with her again when I am in the area!”
