“We needed a sitter for a drop in visit pretty last minute and Shannon was a God send! She agreed to a meet and greet the following day and we instantly knew she would be a great match. Our pup also was instantly drawn to her. She spent extra time with him after the scheduled 30 minutes, fed him, and even folded blankets on the couch haha. She brought in packages when we had deliveries and always made sure to lock up and leave a light on for our dog, as requested. Would definitely recommend her!!”
About: I have had the honor of having dogs my entire life. Recently, helped my daughter potty training her rescue puppies. They have become the protectors of my grandchildren. As an Empty Nester, I enjoy the simple things in life and would love to offer my services for walks during the early mornings and evenings. Currently, I do not have pets in my home, as I do not have a fenced yard that would allow them to safely play and enjoy outdoor activities.

About: I've cared for not only my own pets but I've been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors since I was about 12yrs old. I currently care for my own dogs, fish, and several reptiles. I currently work full time as a dog trainer, and part time as a pet caretaker for a few friends. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and would be happy to do drop ins or take your fur babies out for a walk when needed. My days where I have full availability are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I ask plenty of questions about the animals ahead of time, if any meds need administered, any routines to stick to, ect. I don't ever wanna put stress on a pet or throw off any routines. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
