“This was my first time using this app and I was a bit concerned about leaving my puppy with a “stranger”, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Mrs. Bonnie took great care, was very prompt with communication and flexible when a small change of plans occurred. She even sent pics morning and night to set our minds at ease. Would definitely consider using Mrs. Bonnie again!”

“Marci was a great sitter for my dog Hank! I could tell from get-go that she’s experienced with taking care of pups and that she treats her pup Sadie amazingly too. She was a great communicator with fast responses, and answered all my questions to make me feel confident about having her watch Hank. Would absolutely recommend and use her again!”

“Ashtin was amazing! She gave me such peace of mind while I was on vacation, knowing my fur baby was well cared for. She kept me updated with frequent photos and thoughtful updates, which I truly appreciated. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Salma was great with my Doberman girl. She will be Birdies new best friend and I hope to use her whenever i need a sitter for a day or week. Thank you Salma for loving my girl and making her 5 days of fun and adventures. DR”

“Joanne is the best. It was our first time leaving our puppy and she was so sweet, sending pictures and making sure she was well taken care of! Our girl was able to get plenty of play and love as well as being exposed to new dogs and other animals. It made us enjoy our trip even more knowing she was also having fun!! Would highly recommend Joanne to take care of you doggo!”

“tammy is an absolute angel! our senior dog has never been boarded before ever and we were so worried about leaving her for a week with someone who she doesn’t know. she had a hard time getting adjusted as she is very high anxiety but tammy was so understanding and flexible for us. we wouldn’t have been able to travel if it wasn’t for her. she sent us SO many pictures & updates that washed all our worries away. we will 100% be coming back to her when we travel again. you can definitely trust her with your pups! thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“My new bunny had a great time with Jackie. She’s young and I adopted her after she was found abandoned on the side of the road so she’s shy and skittish at times. However, Jackie was very patient with her and won her trust. When I picked her up I had to chase her around because she didn’t want to leave. I think she was having too much fun exploring the big house and hanging out with Jackie. I’m so happy to use Jackie as my trusted pet sitter once again! He treats all my pets like one of the family :)”

“Madison is awesome. She sent us pictures almost every day of our vacation. We were extremely impressed with her care and compassion for our babies. We'll definitely be boarding with Madison again!”

“She was great. This was Mickie's first stay with someone outside my family. I was a little nervous, but I soon relaxed. Mickie seemed to enjoy his stay and she kept me up to date with how he was doing. I'd definitely book her again.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cat for almost 5 years, and I’ve raised my own dogs since they were puppies, so I’m very familiar with their needs at every stage of life. I also have experience working as a dog walker, where I built strong relationships with many regular clients. This helped me develop reliability, patience, and a good understanding of different dog personalities and behaviors. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, basic training, and making sure dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. My schedule is flexible, except for Saturday. Please message me if you have any concerns. I’ll try my best to get the time works. I have fenced yard to keep your baby safely. I will be at home and take care of them. If you need a single safety room for you baby please let me know

“Jill has found a second home! We love Miss Rhonda. My husband took Jill to Rhonda's for a pre-stay visit. When it was time, it was a simple drop off and pick up. Her fur babies are so sweet. Rhonda sent several pictures of Jill making herself right at home. We highly recommend Rhonda! We will be back!!! We will send family members to Rover.com and Rhonda!!!”

We were very grateful to have found Elizabeth and have her take care of our dog! We have a 70 lb husky Rottweiler mix who is high energy and she did a fantastic job with him! She made sure he had daily walks and gave us updates and pictures every day! We felt very comfortable knowing our boy was in good hands. We highly recommend her!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Sweet Home home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Sweet Home.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Sweet Home sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
