“Ava was great with my cat Yoda! I was gone for three weeks and she sent me pictures and detailed updates throughout the process. He had an incident that Ava immediately addressed with me to create a problem solving strategy which I greatly appreciated. She was quick to reply and helped me know he was well taken care of.”

“Peter was an excellent choice for caring for our cat Finn. He communicated daily with videos+fun pictures. Because our cat goes outside a few hours per day. Peter kindly let him out and back in. I really appreciated having a responsible caregiver for our furry family member!!”

“Kimberly is the best cat sitter I have come across! My cat (Leroy) absolutely loves when she comes to visit and I feel great knowing that I can travel and leave Leroy in great hands. No amount of snow or unplowed roads stops Kimberly from dropping by and taking adorable pictures of Leroy to share. Kimberly is reliable, caring and respectful and I will definitely be booking with her in the future”

“Stef took care of my cat for a week while we were out of town. She did a great job! She is an excellent communicator giving lots of updates and pictures. She took great care of my house and my cat loved her. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again!”

“Julia stayed with my 3 mo. old kitten and did a great job caring for and playing with him! I got regular pics of him in action and resting, which made me feel good while away. House was in great shape when I got back and couldn't have been any happier with her care!”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, and I have had 2 dogs of my own, who I consider my babies. My current dog is a 85lb 11 year-old lab/chow mix so I have particular experience with large dogs of all ages, including senior dogs. For walks, I am comfortable with walks around your neighborhood, as well as driving to walking/hiking paths all over Duluth for more exercise and variety. I also have a basic knowledge in dog training. Currently, I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can do house visits and walks as many times a day as you like! I will work with you and your pet to determine what care is best for them. However, I will not use pinch collars or shock collars, so if you use these on your dog, I'm not the best fit for you. When visiting your home, I will treat your space with the utmost respect, and will always respect your pet's boundaries in terms of what they are comfortable with.

“HIGHLY recommend Dean for any and all Pet needs. My dog is rarely left alone so I was nervous when I needed to leave him home 10+ hours. I contacted Dean and he was able come to our home midday and spent a whole hour with my dog. Dean took him out for a walked and even played in yard. I LOVED getting the report with the photos of my dog happy and doing well. 💕 I will be using Dean for all my dog needs in the future!”

About: There’s no cats, kids or other dogs in the home, meaning your pup (s) can have a relaxing and snuggle filled time all by themselves! I raised my Great Dane from 8 weeks-10 years old and she recently passed away. She was a reactive dog that didn’t like people, cats, kids or other dogs. I’m well versed and comfortable with shy, reactive or nervous dogs and puppies. I’m a social worker during the day, CNA a few hours a week and rarely have plans outside of that especially in fall/winter. I’m a home body whenever humanly possible. I am flexible with notice! Definitely ask if I can make a schedule work if it’s similar to my availability. I have a ground level apartment, a large couch for snuggling, a good size backyard with a tie out that is fenced on 2 sides with the opening facing an alleyway and only a walkway on the otherside.

About: I’ve been overnight pet sitting and dog boarding for friends, family, and coworkers for many years now and I absolutely love it. I welcome all pet snuggles and licks; not afraid of any hair or dirt :) I work weekdays 8am-5pm so I’m available Mo-Fri 6am-7:30am and 5:15pm-11pm, with availability for 30-45min drop ins around lunchtime if needed. Available all weekend times. I have one small, shy cat that lives with me, so I would only board if it was the right circumstances. Otherwise I am very comfortable doing drop in visits, walks, and play dates!

I’m very grateful to her and highly recommend booking her. I will definitely book again. Thanks so much Alexandra.”
