“Max was so great with Wicket! I really appreciate her taking the time to get to know him, and make sure he got a good play session in the middle of the day, especially since he’s so used to having someone home with him all day.”

About: At nine, I had my first pet cat, a female Siamese. Throughout my life, I was blessed for the opportunity to have 8 more pet cats, including calico, angora, gray stripe, Persian, orange stripe, Siamese, and gray tuxedo. One of my hobbies is going to cat shows. I’m a retired schoolteacher with tons of free time. Schedules don’t get any more adjustable than mine! I do like my hour in the gym each day, although willing to skip if need be. I have a quiet, cozy studio apartment with two rooms, living room/kitchenette and bedroom. Also one bath. I have huge windows that take up an entire wall.

“Courtney is an exceptional dog walker! I needed someone last minute for my dog leia and Courtney was happy to accommodate and very easy to work with. I’ll definitely hire her again!”

“Mike has been great with Harper. He’s been very conscientious about hot weather affects her. He takes time to play with her inside & out, depending on the weather. After 2 weeks, I’m very pleased that I found him for my little Miss!”

“5 stars- Meredith has been fantastic walking our energetic, 6 month old puppy, and is very punctual and reliable. Our dog is always excited to see her and always comes back smiling. Highly recommend!”

About: Since I was a child I’ve been in love with animals, watching over neighbors dogs and now I have a 2 year old pittie! He came from an abusive background from a ring and had zero training or people skills at all. I’ve been able to transform him into the most lovable, spoiled pup. Since then, I’ve fostered two more pitts and found them loving homes. I believe the most important part of looking after someone else’s baby is treating them as your own. I understand things happen and your pup needs care! I accept last minute bookings. Please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’m currently a college student and I do classes online. In my free time, I’ve been visiting shelters and taking care of my own babies. It’s a true passion of mine! I have experience with nervous and reactive, destructive behavior and high energy pups. It’s never a one size fits all scenario! Just like people, I believe in creating a bond with animals to in return receive trust, and having a feeling of safety.

“Katherine was so good with our dog Fergus! She gave such good details on his behavior and how he did on his walks. Being a puppy still in training, it was good for us to know how he did while we were away from him and had Katherine walk him for a few days. She really went above and beyond our expectations by cleaning up a mess that our dog caused after eating a couple books while we were away! Thanks Katherine!”

“Ryan was extremely professional and a great communicator. I have a very sensitive/anxious dog, but I felt at ease knowing she was getting great long walks with a calm confidant walker. I will definitely hire Ryan again next time I leave town! Thanks again!”

“Lauren is a great dog walker. My dog Sandi loves her walks with Lauren.Sandi was on limited walks for several weeks for a pulled muscle and Lauren kept me in the loop with how she did with pictures and updates with every walk. Her kindness shines through. She also is queen cat whisper, my kitties are very shy and went up to her and she was able to have them. She is punctual and reliable.I would recommend Lauren for dogs or cats!!”

About: I have been the happy sibling to Marley, a precious pug who lived to be 19 years of age. His hibernation-like lifestyle may have contributed to his long, happy life, but I think my care was definitely a factor too. During the pandemic, I finally got a copilot of my own. Earl Grey is a small chi-weenie rescue who has been such a light in my life. Dogs really bring me such joy and I would love to offer care to pups in my free time. I am a respectful, responsible, and hard-working individual. I have been pet-sitting for my friends and family for years, and would be more than happy to continue this work. I am very comfortable with all dogs. I'm also familiar with several training strategies so will not disrupt your dog's training. I do warn you though I may try to teach them to high five. 🙃 I’m currently working park time while I prepare for my phD studies next year. I’ll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pups. While my current housing does not permit me to do boarding. I’m happy to commute to a client’s home to take care of their pet. I do take my dog to dog parks for socializing quite often and gladly offer this for all pup owners too.

About: Hello! My name is Liza Marie. I am a dog and cat owner looking to take care of your fur-baby. My partner and I are the proud owners of a bustling boxer and a frisky Maine coon. I absolutely love dogs and have had dogs for most of my life. I volunteer at the Humane Society, helping to walk the dogs and clean out the kennels. I have a very flexible work from home job, so during the week I am available to do morning, lunch, and afternoon drop-ins & walks. Since I work from home, I can give my fur babies all the attention, walks, and treats during the day. I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know your babies.

About: I pet sited my two dogs and my cat for one whole week before. I clean out my cats litter box every night when I’m at my dads house .I know that it’s usually important to let you’re dogs outside more then 3 times a day everyday. It’s important to wash you’re dogs off with a hose before if they get dirty from going for a walk with them or if you just let them outside in you’re backyard before you let them back into the house. I have a dog cage that I put my dogs in every time before I leave the house but that’s only if I’m the only person at that house. There’s also nothing that sets me apart from any sitters or walkers The reason why pet care is able to fit into my routine is because I only have this one other job that I only go to three days a week When I’ve cared for the dogs I one lived with I would let them outside several times of the day, feed them at there appointment dinner time And I would make sure there water bowls are always full

Bria D.
“Full disclosure, Bria Dito is my daughter. She is a genuine animal lover and hates any injustice when it comes to innocent animals. She’s rescued 8 cats, one of whom was successfully rehomed, as well as three pit bull types. Two of those pitties (one male, one female) both went to good homes after caring for them and restoring them to full health. The remaining one is her original Pitbull, Chief, who was 1 day away from being euthanized when we went to go get him from a shelter in NJ. She has devoted so much time and energy to his wellness, training, and good loving, that he’s almost unrecognizable. I can fully endorse her with the utmost confidence because she has even surprised me!”

M D.
“Melisa is a very responsible and caring person, and I have trusted her to take care of my own pets. She has great common sense, so she would never put an animal in a situation where s/he might be hurt or get frightened and do something that might cause a person to be hurt. Melisa takes her professional and personal responsibilities very seriously, so if she makes a commitment to you she will honor it. Melisa loves animals and will treat your animal with great care. She has so much energy and such a friendly personality that I am sure your four-legged family member will love her.”

Sunnybrook dog parents share their Rover experiences
We’re so grateful to Carolyn for stepping in on short notice while our regular walker was unavailable. She was kind, communicative, and very patient with our foster dog, who is still adjusting to new people and environments. Although he had a fearful reaction, she handled the situation calmly and respectfully, which we really appreciated. It was clear she has a great way with animals and a lot of compassion. Thank you again for being so understanding and giving it a try :)

We booked with her last minute. She treated our dogs as her own. She followed instructions so well! She was friendly, prompt, and responsive. She sent the best photos and video. She had to troubleshoot an issue with one of our dogs and did it expertly!! Will book again!

We were a little hesitant about getting a dog walker for our girl because she gets spooked when strangers get in our house. We know most people need one meet and greet but we ended up doing multiple visits with pet parents present so that our girl could get comfortable with the idea of having someone new coming into the house. Reed was able to gain her trust very quickly! She takes great care of her and is very communicative with us. Our pup is also somewhat reactive to other dogs so we were concerned about that as well, but Reed is able to handle her very well. We’re all very happy with her and we strongly recommend her if you need someone patient, reliable and trustworthy to help you take care of your fur baby 🐾 Thank you Reed!!
