About: I'm a certified veterinary assistant. I've spent the past 6 years working in daycare boarding and rescue facilities. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, medicating and microchipping. I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to spend with all types of animals. Doing a job like this allows me to spend more time with my family. I care for every animal differently depending on their needs/ their owners needs. I also use a slip lead while using a regular leash just in case one fails.

About: I have been taking care of pups since I was 6 years old. I started my own dog walking business in middle school and have been working with WAG! For the last 6 years. I am experienced in giving medications including shots. I am currently open availability due to being an Independent contractor. I am available from early morning to late nights. No specific times are blocked off and I will communicate ahead of time if unavailable. I always ask what owners would like/prefer when going to their homes that way their fur baby is not having to switch anything or go out of their comfort. I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I grew up in a little country town in CA. And was raised with animals. My grandpa was a big animal lover, and we had everything from a baby bear cub to kittens. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.) Drop off and pick up are as followed: Drop Offs: before 6:30am are an additional $10.00 Pick ups: after 8pm will be an additional $1.00 per minute unless prior arrangements have been made with Shawn or myself.
