Our pets are our children and need to be treated with the best care. Dog walking and sitting and caring are is my part-time, semi-retired job here in Vermont. My schedule is open and flexible to your special needs. I will respect the rules of your home and adjust accordingly. My home is also my pets home sotheir needs are accommodated. About: I’ve taken care of pets for most of my life, mostly my own. I’ve had a range of paid pet care experiences, from dogs in diapers without walking ability, to highly energetic dogs! I’m currently a full - time college student, with quite a few gaps of availability in my schedule. On the day of our departure Sadie showed up early, well before the time we had requested. Our Elkie has a number of issues, the greatest of which is separation anxiety and having Sadie stay in our home to provide comfort and care was our number one priority. Sadie provided everything we had hoped for, and sent us regular updates that allowed us to enjoy our time away without any concern for the needs of our dog. About: I have always been an animal lover and this will give me something to do . My husband works , I looking looking for something to do when he is at work . I love to be outdoors so giving your dog a walk would be great . We do have a dog of our own and she loves to play . I have a lab mix , her name is Cleo . She is five years old . I'm also a livestock farmer who cares for livestock guardian dogs, cats, goats, pigs, chickens, and other animals on a daily basis at work. I'm comfortable providing basic veterinary care, based upon my livestock farming professional background, and will make sure your pet gets lots of exercise and play outside as i'm an avid runner and hiker. I work from home, as a farmer, so your dog will almost never be left alone. They can hang out in the house with me or out in the garden while i work, or in a fenced in portion of the yard. We usually go on a long hike, walk, or run every afternoon, and the pups are invited to sleep anywhere they’d like, whether it’s the couch, my bed, or their own bed or crate. I live in a house on a dead end road with 300 acres of wooded trails right outside my back door, where I take my pup Luddy on long hikes or trail runs every day. We’re far away from any car traffic and have a fenced in portion of the yard for pups to run around in. I spend a lot of time at home working in the garden, playing with Luddy, hiking, or running. Luddy is a very friendly pup who loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, and tends to tire his friends out...at which point he loves to fall asleep curled around another pup :)
