About: I have 20+ years of pet care experience from working at a Veterinary Clinic as a kennel attendant to becoming a dog and cat groomer for nearly 8 years. I have pet sat, house sat, fostered, been a dog walker, administered insulin, and made grooming house calls. I currently work full time as a Life Enrichment Director at a senior living community. My job provides me with great fulfillment and purpose but I have always had a passion for taking care of animals. I do have a lot of flexibility with my work and because I create my own schedule, I am able to accommodate your needs to the best of my ability. I have a very sweet, loving husky who is great with pets, people, and is extremely playful and submissive. I also have two cats in my household as well. I live in an apartment building where a large fenced dog park is right out my front door and an extra furnished (unoccupied) bedroom can be used to keep your furry friend cozy. As far as your own home, I would be extremely respectful, clean, quiet, and only do what is asked of me. I have my own life, which I love, so would never hang around, unless that is something you need or wanted.

About: The three of us would like to welcome your dog(s) as our guests! I (Jacky) was a professional pet sitter for 16 years, then left the business while we prepared to be parents. Our son is now 8 years old and he is sweet and gentle to animals. We had two dogs and lost them a couple of years ago. We were all heartbroken! Then, we started pet sitting trying to fill the holes in our hearts. Then the owner of one of our frequent guests let us know that she had to rehome one of her dogs. The pets we watch are truly like temporary parts of our family... so he became ours! We are thrilled to now have a new family member! King is a sweetheart but we believe in proper dog introductions - meeting in a neutral place first, going for a walk together, then inviting your dog(s) into our home. No aggressive dogs or dogs that aren't good with kids, please. Thank you! I work part-time but am trying to work as little as possible so I can be as much of a full-time mom as I can. I will be your dog's mom too while you are away! My husband also adores dogs and works full-time from home. Your dog is allowed on our furniture and has free range of our home. We don't have a doggy door but we have a wonderful big backyard and we are home a lot to let your dog(s) out. We love to walk! We can give medicine, brush your dog, respect your wishes and dog's dietary needs to share food or not, and otherwise just make him/her a part of our family while in our care! Alex and I are available much of the day between the two of us. We both work mostly from home, although I do some personal training for clients in their homes on the side. I work away from home maybe 15 hours a week, and almost never more than 4 hours away at a time. My husband is home more than I am and he enjoys pet care, too! Pets are not just pets to us, they are family. We want your dog(s) to be good friends with our dog! We will take your dog(s) for walks, feed them on your schedule, give as much petting as possible, encourage play with toys, and snuggle as much as your dog(s) enjoy.

“I felt so care free on my trip knowing that Madison was there to take care of my kitty! She was on top of everything: she fully updated me on how Gussie was doing every visit (with plenty of pics), made sure she was well fed (of course), kept her litter box and outside area clean everyday, spent quality time cuddling and playing with Gussie, and even picked up the mess Gussie made from dropping my plants!! It was so nice to know Madison was taking great care of my baby so I could enjoy my time away and not stress about how my cat is doing. I’ve heard some mixed reviews about trusting strangers on Rover for petsitting, but Madison has my full trust and I was so grateful to have her as a responsible pet sitter <3”

About: I grew up in a household with cats and freshwater fish, I currently have one cat, and many freshwater fish and shrimp. One of my first "gigs" from a young was stopping in on neighborhood pets, letting them in or out, taking care of cat boxes, and putting out fresh food and water. I have some experience with aging pets. My cat, who I adopted three years ago, isalmost 17, and while still very active, requires special care for kidney disease. I love dogs too, and while I do not have any in my home currently, I am experienced or familiar with different types of training and walking. I can do water changes on freshwater aquariums, even for sensitive fish, and as long as you can provide care instructions, I can at a minimum feed your saltwater friends, and top off evaporation so the water does over salinated. I am currently self employed an set my own hours, as long as I am not booked for specific times with another pet, I can visit on your schedule. For pets staying in my home, they'll be given space and opportunities to interact with me and my cat. If necessary or requested, I do have a very large spare room that pets can be sequestered in with their own food, water, queen size bed, and litter box. At present, I'm not sure how my cat behaves with other animals, however to ensure your pet's visit is a safe and comfortable one, my cat will remain separate from visiting pets for at least the first 24 hours. I do have a side yard that is fully paved/gravel, and the gate does not always latch, as such any dogs staying with me will be indoors most of the time, with frequent "comfort" breaks/walks to avoid messes. I do allow pets on furniture/beds. Bedrooms will be closed during the day, but my room will usually be open at night. If doing drop in/walking checks: Each visit is largely up to the pet, of course dogs need to be let out to do their business, or in to shelter from our weather. If your fur baby wants to cuddle or play that's what we'll do, absent any special instructions (i.e. a dog with a medical condition that requires them to limit their running, or a cat that needs to be woken up for play time/exercise during the day). Even fish like to interact with their humans, and a change in routine or the arrival of a stranger can be stressful. At a minimum, your pet will get fresh food and water, be cleaned up after if needed, and for dogs ample outside time.
