I have had dogs my entire life and rescued a German Shepherd this past year. I also have a 10-year-old basset hound. I’m versatile and caring for all sizes and shapes. About: Had dogs all my life and cared for them in all sorts of situations; medications and therapy walks. Monitored them after surgery and held them down for medications they hated. Walked them, ran with them, biked with them and laid down with them. I enjoy animals and I want to spend as much time as I can with them. I will CARE for your pets. They will have fun while I am there. When I had my dog I had a fenced yard with a doggie door for access to the house. I sat with him during thunderstorms and took care of him after ACL surgery. We played ball three times a week or more. He endured my short lived biking phase. He loved the convertible and hated the sedan. I think of him every day.
About: I have owned multiple pets which include dogs, cats, horses, pigs and tortoises. I have had 5 English bulldogs which have taught me a lot about special needs, medication administration and hygiene. I can be available when needed with some notice. About: I have gained lots of skills in my profession working at shelters and animal hospitals. For both, I was responsible for feeding, cleaning and grooming all the animals we housed. Even vet care if needed. So no need to worry, nothing will come to a surprise for me! I’m currently working at California Wolf Center. My time is partly taken however I am willing to alternate my schedule to whatever suits your calendar best! I have a fenced yard and a home that is open to the dog/puppy. About: Pet Care Experience: I started Rover August 2024. However, I’ve been surrounded by dogs all my of my life, including other animals such as: Cats, rodent pets and farm animals. Training Experience: I do light dog training, which means I only do the basics, such as walking, potty training, and commands. I have a Pitt Bull/Lab who I trained and I’ve helped my dad with his German Shepherd, my partner with his Husky, and my friend with her Golden Retriever. With all this being said, I’m comfortable with any dog and am not afraid of any breeds, even if the dog is “aggressive”. I put quotations around that because most of the time there’s underlying reasons for that aggression. :) As of June 9th-August 10th I will be working a summer job. My schedule will be Monday-Thursday 8:30-11:30am and on Saturdays 8:30am-5pm. With that being said, I will be more than happy to accommodate your requests as long as you are comfortable with my work hours previously stated. As previously mentioned, I am a college student so starting August (Date is TBD) I will be attending school Monday and Wednesdays. Please keep this in mind while considering me as I am not able to request time off for this summer job. I’m willing and open to any requests you may have when it comes to your pets care, I completely understand that your pet(s) safety and wellbeing is your top priority! :)

“Mike has been our pet sitter for probably close to 3 years at this point. Mike is always very dependable (never cancels last minute), and he goes well above and beyond when he cares for the animals. Our two large dogs are reactive (rescues) but he is able to walk them both at the same time without issue. This is very much something we could never attempt on our own, even as their owners. He has also cared of our newest family member, Stella for the past year which included feeding, watering and cleaning her litter box. I highly recommend Mike to care for both dogs and cats, especially if you want someone in your house that you can completely trust to leave it in a better place you found it. We continuously forget to log our back door, the dog tear up their toys, etc. - he always makes sure to leave the place secure and picks up their messes. Hopefully you're animals aren't as challenging as ours in that respect, but if they are, Mike's a pro a handling it. He also sends pictures and is a very effective communicator.”
