About: I am a 54 year old single female. I have owned several pets throughout my life from newborn pups to elderly. I currently have 4 dogs and 3 adult children (1 grandchild) that I care for. I have experience walking all types of dogs, individually or in a group. I am available to house sit as well as pet sit. And not to worry, my pets are loved and well taken care of by my adult children while I take care of yours. I can even care for your plants if needed. 😊 I live in Lecanto and I am only available in the evenings Monday through Thursday after 6PM. But I am available FULL TIME Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is my dream to spend my later years caring and loving for animals. I am interested in making caring for and loving pets my full time job, so I am more than interested in full time positions. I would love to leave my current day job behind and make my passion for animals my full time job. Your pets and your home will be treated as if they are my own. I live in a nice subdivision and keep my back yard fenced for the dog’s freedom and security. As I have several pets already I would be caring for or walking your pets in your home / neighborhood. I will send photos and videos of your pets as I care for them so you can feel at ease while away from your pet(s).

“Carin was wonderful to help out by walking our dog when we had to be gone for an extended period of time. She handled him nicely and communicated well. Would absolutely use her again.”

About: I've rescued and cared for six dogs, three became mine. And I' ve dog-sat for friends & family for decades. Dogs love my fenced yard and the looong walks we take in the acres of trails and woods around my house! I'm formally educated and exprienced in animal behavior and comparative psychology. And as a professional conservation biologist, I've spent my career working to protect all animals and their habitats. Caring for critters is my heart & soul. I work from home (complete with a fenced yard) surrounded by many wooded acres for long walks. Dogs welcome day or night, long- or short-term. I'm always here with them. And your dog(s) can either enjoy the company of my two pups, or they can have me, the house, and the yard all to themselves (as my pups love to go stay with their grand-dad down the hill). Boarding dogs can either meet and play with my two pups or they can have me, the house, and the fenced yard to themselves, which ever you/they prefer. The same applies to day-care for dogs.

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats, from being a puppy to a senior. Both pure breeds and rescues. I will care for yours like my own. I’m currently a teacher and can stop in before and after school. During breaks I will have a flexible schedule to take care of your pet. I have a fenced yard. In your home I will walk, feed, and play with your dog or cat. If they looked stressed I will stay longer.

About: I have loved and cared for pets for over 40 years including dogs, cats, bunnies, hermit crabs, and caiques. I currently have three beautiful dogs and a caique who are my best friends. I have done pet sitting and dog walking for coworkers and neighbors over the past 20 years and I also volunteered for Cat Crusaders in Tampa for three years where I cared for cats housed in a local PetSmart. This involved cage cleaning, playing and administering medications. . Due to my recent retirement that has given me abundant free time, I have decided to offer these services on Rover. I welcome the opportunity to care for your pets in a professional, loving and timely manner. I recently retired from the University of South Florida, so I currently have ample free time as well as abundant energy. I look forward to meeting your precious pets and providing them with all of the affection and care they deserve, I am available for drop in visits and dog walking. I currently have three large male dogs: German Shepherd, English Mastiff and a Pointer mix. All three boys go for walks in a nearby park and have a large fenced in yard for playtime, however they also love to be in the house enjoying the air conditioning. I respect all pet owner rules, so I will feed, walk and care for your pets according to your wishes. I will also clean up, water plants, etc.. as needed. I can make visits to your home at any time based on your needs and I can also take your pets for walks. I am not available at this time to stay overnight in your home because of the needs of my own pets and I am also not boarding dogs in my home.

“Jennifer is great. She came for a Meet & Greet and spent time getting to know Colt. For his first walk, Colt was confused at first when I didn’t go with him. Once he realized it was just the two of them he was fine and went down the driveway wagging his tail. Jennifer took pictures and told me all about their walk. I have booked Jennifer for weekly walks and look forward to our vacation next month.”

Breeanna S.
“I have known Breeanna since she was 6 years old and have always known that whatever she did as an adult would involve animals in some way. She is the only person that I trust to clip our 14 year old black lab, Biscuit’s nails. And she is the only person that he trusts to do it too! She has an amazing love for furry friends and I have complete faith that she will take as good of care for your furry loved ones as well as she does her own!”

“Hello, Tina Ellis is an animal lover and has great compassion for animals. She has four of her own dogs and they are thriving. I feel very positive she will take excellent care of any and all animals she is given the responsibility of. She leads an active life so I know she will walk with the animals often making sure they are exercised on a regular basis. It is my hope you will consider her for the position.”

Samantha W.
“As Samantha's friend of more than 20 years and as a veterinarian, I can assure anyone who asks that she is one of the most dedicated animal advocates I have known. I have seen it myself watching her relationships with her own pets unfold, and I have witnessed it professionally from the time we worked together years ago, and throughout her career since. Loving animals is part of being a pet owner, but recognizing our responsibility as pet owners is another level of care that not everyone understands. Sam lives by it and finds joy in providing our animals what they need every day. Add to it a career filled with of accolades demonstrating her professionalism and expertise in her field, you can't ask for a better caregiver. I only wished she lived closer to watch my fur kids! How lucky they would be...”

Kathleen S.Star Sitter
“Kathleen was wonderful with my pets. She made sure that my pup felt comfortable with her during our meet and greet and gave me updates when she visited. She was very patient with my kitty who always hides under the bed. Kathleen made sure they had their food and fresh water every visit! I would definitely book with her again to care for my fur babies!”

Kathy W.Star Sitter
“I have used Kathy several times over the years for my cats & dog. She is simply the best! She LOVES animals and will treat your furry babies as members of her family too. We received daily communication that included many photos of our babies. She came and spent time loving on them, not just coming in to feed or a quick walk; she takes her time to let them know they are not alone. Your animals will be in GREAT hands with Kathy!”

Jennifer D.
“Jennifer is my go to person for any and all pet related needs. I am also a sitter on Rover and when I have questions about animals I ask Jennifer first. She’s got experience with all kinds of pets. She used to breed springer spaniels, three litters all of them well cared for went to amazing homes that she still keeps track of and keeps in touch with them all. when I had an issue with my own dog, and the vet shrugged me off, Jennifer told me to check my dog’s flea medicine anyway,And she was right. Everything my dog was experiencing were side effects from her meds and we reduced her dose and my dog is fantastic. Jennifer definitely knows what she’s doing, and she will take great care of all of your pets.”

Heather T.
“I can’t tell you how pleased I am for the great care Heather gave Zoey while I was abroad. The peace of mind I had knowing she was in her care, giving her meds and all the attention she needs meant so much. Because of her, I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing she was in such good hands. Sincerely, Pam Johnston”

Ashley E.
“I love how Ashley pays attention to detail. She wanted to make sure that she knew my big guys: from their treats and their routine down to the way they like to play ball. I never worried a minute while I was out of town because she had everything under control. It was such a comfort knowing that my big guy didn’t have to go stay somewhere else, but could stay in their own routine at home or hers. I would HIGHLY recommend Ashley pet services to ALL my friends with furry people. Don’t even worry about stressing or planning for a trip to the kennel, just let Ashley come over or hers and take care of your little family , she will update you as often as you’d like regarding your pets and their behavior or medication. Call her today!!”

Rachael T.
“Hi, I highly recommend Rachael to walk or care for your dog. She is a huge dog lover and very responsible. She is kind and compassionate with all animals. Rachael loves the outdoors and staying active.”

Shelly B.
“Shelly's love for animals goes back to her childhood and remains a big part of her life today. As her husband, I hear about and see pictures of her interactions with animals from stopping traffic to help a bunch of baby ducklings cross a street to having extra dog treats in her old office for neighborhood pups walking by with their owners. She has rescued and adopted 3 dogs and 3 cats into our home over the past 11 years we’ve been together and treats them quite literally as her children! I would trust her with anyone’s pet and know her ability to connect with animals comes from her heart.”
