About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I learned by caring for these dogs that the most important thing is to identify each dog's individual needs by paying attention to how they are feeling and how they interact with me and the other dogs. I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. My back yard has grass and a screened in porch for those days when it is comfortable for dogs to be outside.
“We left our 2 pitties with Renee and her husband- I was so nervous to leave my girls while we went on vacation. I was worried they would be scared and sad. But Renee and her family were so amazing and updated me so often with photos and videos. It kept me at ease on vacation knowing they were so well cared for. I could see how clearly my girls were spoiled with so much love and snuggles !! If we ever need a doggy sitter in the future , I will 100% be using them again!”

“We are thrilled with how well Jodi took care of Peanut! His usual boarder was unavailable so we had to find someone new we could trust. Jodi treated Peanut as her own and took him for daily walks. She sent lots of pictures and updates, which I love. Highly recommend!”

“Kathy W was one of the nicest, caring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her promptness and obvious caring for my MewMew was truly reassuring and put me at ease. “Corey has been a godsend for our new pup Chloe. We were worried about how she would do with a stranger bc she is very timid, but Corey proved to be a dog whisperer and she took right to him like he was part of her family. Can't express how lucky we were to find such a great guy that clearly loves animals..10 out of 10 would recommend to everyone.”

About: Hi! I have 2 cats of my own. I have one I’ve had for 3 years now, and the other I recently rescued. I work at a boarding facility that includes taking care of cats. I also have experience with cats that have had medical needs (insulin dependent etc). I will do whatever it takes for your baby to feel safe :)
“Cheryl took great care of my 2 rescue cats! I had not left them alone for sometime and they are normally shy around people, but Cheryl made them very comfortable and sent lots of great pictures while I was away. The house and the kitties were in great shape when I returned ? I definitely recommend Cheryl and will book her again for my next trip!”

“Tina was amazing! She took care of Martin like her own. We had her do a few drop ins while out of town and she kept us in the loop the entire time. She even offered to check on our pup when our flight was delayed. Tina made me feel like I could put my phone down and not worry if Marty was going to be taken care of. I definitely recommend Tina for your pet sitting needs.”

“You simply can’t go wrong with Jennifer—she is amazing. From arriving on time for our initial meeting to caring for my precious Sammy, she went above and beyond every expectation. When our plans unexpectedly changed and I forgot to let her know her services would be needed a day earlier, Jennifer caught on immediately. With just a casual text, she recognized the situation, updated the booking on the Rover app, and seamlessly added the extra day. Her attentiveness and initiative truly impressed me. I will definitely be using Jennifer’s services again and again. Thank you!”

“We had a great experience with Andrea. She was incredibly thorough, detail-oriented, and clearly took the time to make sure everything was handled exactly how we like it. Most importantly, Suma really enjoyed her and had a great time playing. She was always prompt and communicative, sending lots of updates, photos, and messages during her visits—which I know many pet owners will really appreciate. You can tell she genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort. She’s newer to Rover, but you wouldn’t know it from the level of care and professionalism she brings. We’d absolutely book her again!”

“First time using Rover and things couldn't have gone any better! Thank you Alyssa for taking such good care of Dakota. We visit the area every year and will definitely be using Alyssa's services again!”

About: I will treat your fur babies like they are my own and would love to meet them. I have experience in training dogs and taking care of senior dogs. I work from home, therefore I am available from Monday through Sunday and your pet can stay overnight or if needed just during the day. I have a fenced in yard and a King shepherd female, which is friendly with other dogs therefore your fur baby would have a playmate to enjoy the time here. I will play with them, feed them and also give them treats.
“Katie (and her family!) are the BESTESSESSESS!! This was the first time we left our puppy with a stranger or ever used Rover so I was a bit anxious. She did a meet n greet with us to relieve some nerves. She sent pictures every day. Each day Riley went she was pulling me out of the car tail wagging running to the front door. I'm so grateful for Katie, we were able to enjoy our vacation and know our puppy was safe and being loved on!!!!”

“Many pet daycare facilities close between 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm, so I looked on Rover.com to find a pet sitter who coud watch my dog later than that while I went out to dinner. I was glad to find Sarah. Sarah was very friendly and I felt comfortable leaving my dog with her. Her home looked like a very nice environment in which pets could happily play and rest. I would leave my dog with Sarah again.”

“We were travelling from out-of-country and had a chance to spend the day with friends locally. We messaged Chris during the Super Bowl game for a daycare session with our two dogs the next day. They responded almost instantly. Amazing communications and very responsive. The facility is incredible. Very clean. Sheltered. A double perimeter fence. Motion activated spot lights. Our dogs were secure and we felt very comfortable leaving them there for the day. We received updates and photos throughout the day which made us happy to know our dogs were visibly relaxed and comfortable in a new environment. When we picked them up the dogs were clearly happy, tired, relaxed, and definitely appeared to be smiling! We would not hesitate to use Chris and their spouse again. Amazing people. Fantastic facility.”

About: I have cared for dogs for years. I have experience with all sizes and many different breeds. I have a two acre yard fully fenced in perfect for dogs to run and play. as a self employed massage therapist I have the ability to control my schedule and take myself off of the schedule as needed when I get a lot of dog bookings I'll take them out to play and get fresh air. Depending on their age and health play time will vary. If an older, less active dog I will be careful about how long they walk. Also if they are a puppy or an active breed I will make sure to increase play time to help burn off their excess energy.
About: I’ve been living with dogs my whole life and I love all kinds of pets! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs and cats except bottle-babies. I am a certified dog trainer and formerly worked at an animal rescue as the behavior manager. This has provided me with experience with dogs and cats of various temperaments from a variety of situations. I also offer private dog training and other pet services through my private business. My work schedule is pretty flexible so I can make time any day of the week to work with you and your pets. For dogs in boarding, I always make time throughout the day for plenty of playing, physical exercise, mental enrichment, and relaxation. I have experience with a variety of care requirements including special handling for animals of different temperaments, walking and exercising dogs with behavioral issues, preparing specialized diets, and administering medications that I am confident in applying to your pet’s needs. While boarded, each dog has their own space to sleep, eat, and otherwise relax without being bothered by other dogs in the home. This can be a crate or puppy pen depending on what is the best fit for the dog. This is also where the dogs stay while I am out of the house to prevent any incidents between dogs. During the day, the dogs have the opportunity to spend their time inside or outside. There are plenty of toys and beds inside for some playing or relaxing. Outside, they have a fenced-in acre to run, explore, and roughhouse. The dog-friendly pool will be ready for use in April 2026. It has a 8x16ft sun shelf to allow for lounging in shallow water and a ramp for easy access in and out of the deep end. It is screened in to prevent anyone from slipping in unnoticed. For days that don’t allow for much exercise outside, I have treadmills to burn energy for dogs that are comfortable with them and plenty of puzzle feeders to keep their minds busy.
“Our dog, Ryder, was safe and comfortable at Nola’s home for a few hours while we were in town running errands. Highly recommend. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby.”

About: From a first grader to present day, dogs have enhanced my life. It's been a privilege being a foster mom for several years with VIP Rescue of central Florida. Teaching basic obedience, grooming and health related issue. Currently, my fiance' Ron and I have three doodles that adorn yet challenge our daily life. A Bernedoodle who is 2 and a mischief when it comes to snagging shoes and slippers. Gus and Grace labradoodles are three. Grace a circus dog full of zoomies and antics, Gus a gentle quiet soul! I'm proud to be their mom! If I'm to be the sitter for your fur baby, please know they are my priority and will treat them with love dignity and respect. The same goes for your home. I currently work part time in the home health field. Where I've dedicated myself full time. I'm looking to switch gears by hanging up the senior home health to canine care. My home is surrounded by a woody environment, providing shade and room for ball play with exercise. There are three fenced sections, separating small dogs from larger dogs. The shy or needy dogs from those with special needs.
“I almost hate to review this true gem! Linda will puppy sit one dog at a time which is great for my people-friendly, dog-hesitant fur baby. Her love of pets is so very apparent the moment you meet her. What a truly great find.”

“Biddy has consistently come home happy and content after his doggy daycare with Bill and Tina. They are wonderful, attentive caregivers! We love getting all of the pictures showing how well he is doing while he is visiting. Definitely recommend them 100%!!”

“Candace is the sweetest person and accommodated us on a 30 minute notice. This was our first time leaving our puppy at a sitter and she made us feel so comfortable about it! Our doggo seemed to have a great and active time with Candace and is fast asleep like a baby RN. Candace sent us updates while we were away. Would definitely recommend and hope to see you again when we come by for another kayaking trip in the area!”

About: I have been working with dogs for about 8 years. I have experience from working at kennels and a veterinary office. I am pet CPR certified and have taken courses on dog behavior and body language. Dogs are truly my passion and I love each and every one like they are my own. I have a very open and flexible schedule to watch your furry friends! I am available weekdays, weekends and holidays. I do live on 3 acres of land with a smaller fenced in dog area off of the back patio. There is plenty of space for your dog to run and have fun but also can accommodate a slower lifestyle for the old timers. I have 3 dogs of my own that have been with me in the kennels and doggie daycare so they are very well versed on all types of behavior from other pets and are tolerant and love the company. I’m currently watching dogs from home full time so my schedule is tailored to your dog and their needs. I never leave our dogs alone for more than 4 hours and you can expect the same while I am watching your furry friends! I live on 3 acres along with living in a peaceful neighborhood so if your dog is use to getting walks every day, I can do that. If your dog is a lazy bones and just wants to hang out we’ve got space to do that too. They will get plenty of attention and be treated like my own.

“Sophia has been an excellent choice for me and Lucy. You can tell she loves dogs in how she talks to Lucy and rubs and scratches her. She comes on time and takes the full half hour and stays even longer to talk to her and me and rub her. She is very pleasant to talk to, smiles alot and basically a very caring, pleasant, soft spoken person. You can't find someone to love and walk your pet better than this. Thank you Rover for finding Sophia for Lucy and Me. Sincerely, Michael Roth”

“You can tell from the moment he walks in the home, Corey is experienced dog handler. Professional, punctual and an all around nice guy. We look forward to using him again for my moms 60 lb American Pitbull terrier.”

About: I've had dogs and cats, along with other pets for many years Our family loves animals. Past breeder of English Springer Spaniels. Experienced with puppies to seniors. Most importantly, I understand these are not pets, but family members and I'll care for them as if they were mine. I'm a stay at home mom with my children entering their teen years. With their independence I have a flexible schedule to fit your needs. I will help you keep your fur babies routine. Whether that's going for a walk, playing in the backyard or just snuggling on the couch. I will make sure they are fed, cleaned up after and loved.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since the age of 3, growing up as a dog owner with a couple cats at a time, as well. I love written instructions and schedules to follow for feeding and potty time and am attentive to detail. I can send photo and video updates as often as requested. I’m currently working part time with some flexibility built in to help fur baby parents with pet care. Let’s come up with a schedule that meets your needs! I can offer overnight stays if needed and extra time spent with pets on top of feedings, walks, treats, and toilet times. The more details you provide about what you need, the better. I’ll keep things tidy for your return, too.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the day I was born. I’ve grown up around hunting dogs and cared for a dog with severe health issues including epilepsy. I’ve never met a dog that doesn’t like me. I’m home full time, able to provide pet care whenever. I’m currently searching for a job so this may change in the future, but for now I am an open book. My dogs ran our household, one of my dogs was missing a leg and still needed to play frisbee and run every day. I like to stay active with my dogs and my clients’ as well!
About: I know what it's like to hand your dog over to someone else — that flicker of worry, even when you trust them. Our dogs aren't just pets. They're family. They greet us at the door like we've been gone for years, they curl up next to us on the hard days, and they love us without any conditions at all. Trusting someone else with that is not a small thing. So here's what I want you to know: when I'm with your dog, I'm not just watching them — I'm watching out for them. Every walk, every outing, every minute we spend together, I take seriously. Not because it's a job, but because I know exactly what it means to love a dog like family, and I know what it means to be the one responsible for them when you can't be. My goal isn't just to keep your dog safe. It's to give you real peace of mind — so that wherever you are, you can stop thinking about whether they're okay, and just know they are. Loved, looked after, and genuinely cared for, the same way I'd want someone to care for mine. Your fur baby is in good hands. I won't take that lightly. More information about me: Dogs have been part of my life since I was 10 years old, when I got my first German Shepherd Dog puppy named Storm. I built him a pen in the laundry room — and slept in there with him for weeks, just to keep him company. That was the start of it. Since then, I've owned and raised about a dozen German Shepherd Dogs, and I've trained dozens of dogs over the years for myself, friends, and family. Today my pack is three: my two German Shepherd Dogs; Ella (10) and Sadie (8), my Belgian Malinois, Mila (2.5). Living with working breeds has shaped how I think about exercise — it's not about wearing a dog out until they're panting. It's about engaging their mind as much as their body. That's the philosophy behind everything I offer. A walk should have a purpose. A trek should be an adventure, not just a loop around the block — somewhere new to sniff, explore, and think. Outing and training sessions build real confidence, not just compliance. I tailor every visit, every outing and every training session to your dog's personality and energy, whether that's a relaxed neighborhood walk, an early morning outing to beat the Florida heat, a solo trek to a trail or pet-friendly store, or focused training time. Multiple daily walks and custom treks are built around what works for your family — just ask. Based in Weeki Wachee, serving west Hernando County. I treat every dog I work with like one of my own. I am fully insured and will provide real references upon request. This is my full-time job — not a side gig, not something squeezed in around another career. When I'm with your dog, that's where my attention is. Every walk, every outing, every training session. Whether I'm in your home or out on a walk or trek, your dog gets my full, undivided attention — no other dogs, no distractions. I follow your routine and any instructions you give me for feeding, medication, or specific needs, and I treat your home with the same respect I'd want for my own: doors locked, things put back where they belong, and your dog's space left clean and comfortable. For walks and treks, I make sure water is available and accidents are cleaned up before I leave. For overnight stays, I keep your dog on their normal schedule as much as possible — same feeding times, same bedtime routine — so there's as little disruption to their world as I can manage. I'm also comfortable administering medication when needed. At the end of the day, my approach is simple: I treat every dog and every home like it's my own.

Here’s what sets me apart: All breeds, all ages: I’m comfortable caring for every type of pet, ensuring their unique needs are met with patience and expertise. In a Client’s Home: I am respectful and observant: I follow the pet’s routine exactly as the owner describes, including feeding times, walks, and any specific instructions (e.g., no treats, certain commands, or favorite toys). Home safety: I double-check that doors, windows, and gates are secure to prevent escapes. I also ensure the pet doesn’t have access to unsafe areas (e.g., cleaning supplies, trash, or small objects they could swallow). Updates: I provide regular updates to the owner, including photos or messages about how their pet is doing/ any concerns I have. Emergency plan: I have the owner’s vet contact info and my backup’s details in case of an emergency. Extra care: I love giving pets extra love and attention through cuddles, gentle play, or quiet time—whatever they need to feel happy and relaxed.

“Jocelyn was fantastic! Our dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for while we were away. She went above and beyond by successfully administering medication to our puppy, which gave us so much peace of mind. Communication was great, and it was obvious she genuinely cared for our pets. We came home to happy pups, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!”

“My puppy was obviously very comfortable at their home as was evident by the photos. She was snuggled and loved and cared for and that is all i could ever ask for. Thank you so much.”

“Kelly made Zeus very comfortable and got plenty of exercise. We will definitely book with Kelly in future. I have a neighbor that will be reaching out as soon as I give her the information. Thank you Kelly.”

“I love these dog sitters. They kept in touch throughout Sunny's stay. It is like a doggy camp with well structured organized balanced care for each pet. They are by far the best at what they do and provide personal attention to hesitant owners as myself. I highly recommend their facility.”

“We are so glad we found Marina! We decided to try Rover last minute to board our dogs before a trip and her profile immediately stuck out. She was professional, gave our dogs great care and kept us updated throughout. We were able to really enjoy our time away without having to worry about how our dogs were doing. We would use her again and again to watch them! She also gracefully dealt with our very active puppy who presents her own set of challenges! She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We really can’t say enough good things! Thanks again Marina!”
