About: I’ve spent over a decade helping dogs and the people who love them build better relationships. My background includes professional dog training, developing an animal-assisted intervention program in a special education school, working with therapy dog teams, supporting rescue dogs, and educating handlers using positive reinforcement methods. As a former teacher, I bring patience, observation, and a thoughtful approach to every dog I care for. I believe every dog is an individual, and I take the time to understand their personality, communication style, comfort level, and what motivates them. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk or stopping by for a visit, my focus is on more than just exercise. I pay close attention to body language and stress signals while providing enrichment, safe exploration, and positive interactions tailored to your dog’s needs. I love giving dogs the opportunity to sniff, explore, and enjoy the world while building confidence and trust. I have experience with puppies, adolescent dogs, senior dogs, and rescue dogs adjusting to new homes. I incorporate positive reinforcement principles, including concepts from Puppy Culture, to help puppies develop confidence, healthy habits, and a strong foundation. For dogs who enjoy adventure, I’m also happy to offer longer enrichment walks or easy hikes on dog-friendly trails (with owner approval). These outings are a great way for active dogs to get additional physical and mental enrichment while exploring safely at their own pace. As a dog owner myself, I understand that your dog is family. My goal is to provide the same thoughtful, reliable care, communication, and attention that I would want for my own dogs. I also have experience caring for cats, including living with a senior cat, and I understand that cats often need a different approach than dogs. I’m happy to provide thoughtful care while respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. Every visit/ walk, you will get text updates and photos. As a pet mom myself, it always puts me at ease to see a happy picture while in the care of a trusted sitter or walker. I’m looking forward to meeting your furry family members! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions! ☺️ I currently offer walks/ hikes Mondays & Wednesdays: 9:45-12:30 Fridays: 9:45-11:15 I can do check-ins and occasional walks on scheduled weekends and evenings as well. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I believe every dog and cat is an individual, and I take the time to understand their routines, body language, personality, and needs before providing care. For walks and drop-in visits, I follow your instructions closely and maintain a safe, calm environment for your pet. I use thoughtful handling practices, pay attention to stress signals, and make decisions based on what is best for each individual animal. I always make sure they have fresh water upon return from our walk, and during check-in visits. As a longtime pet owner with dogs and a senior cat of my own, I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family. I treat each home and pet with respect, provide reliable communication, and will always prioritize your pet’s well-being.

About: I have personal experience with two dogs (Sunny and Roland) and a cat (Loki). Additionally, I have taken care of the pets of family and friends for years without complaint. I have worked as a dog sitter/walker for over 5 years now, and 3 of those on Rover. Unless my employment status changes, I am available 24/7 over summer, winter, fall, and spring breaks. My time is also very flexible and I don’t mind if I need to work at odd hours. I try to be as gentle and friendly as possible towards pets and will do more than the bare minimum when it comes to exercise and entertainment. I also have experience with cleaning up all kinds of potential messes.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets my entire life, and my family and friends look to me if they need me to dog sit (or pet sit) when they’re away or unavailable. I love animals, and so getting to take care of furry friends is an absolute treat!! I’m currently attending college, so monday and wednesday mornings im out of the house from 8-12. any other time, if given enough notice, i can be available for you and your pets! I live in a family home with my dog daisy, who is very friendly and about 14 years old now. She never fails to be entertained, and I love her with all my heart. I will do the same for your pets :)

About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals around. I have had many dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits, rats, and horses over the years. I have a degree in Equestrian Science and have taken care of animals my entire adult life. I have always been an avid hiker as well and love to take the pups on walks around the area. I currently own 3 dogs, a parrot, and 2 chickens and will give your animals the same love and attention that I give my own! I'm currently working part time and so have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I am currently available for house sitting, drop in visits and dog walking. If your dogs get along with mine I might be able to do boarding as well. I have a dog door at my house with a fenced in yard along with 5 acres of fields to walk in. When coming to your home, I use my deep knowlege of dogs, cats, and other animals to keep your animals happy in their own home where your pets are MOST comfortable. They have the comfort of knowing they are safe in a place where they can learn to trust me and we can develop a bond so I can give your pets the same level of love and care as I would give my own pets.

About: I take pride in my work and strive to treat each and every animal I care for as I would my own personal pets. I personally understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your furry family members and do my best to make the experience as amazing as possible for both pets and pet parents. I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. Since then I have also branched out into working in animal rescue as well. I also am currently pursuing a certification in dog training. I currently work for myself so my hours are flexible. I can accommodate dog walking most mornings, afternoons and nights. I currently offer in home boarding but limit it to three dogs per night to ensure the best quality of care. I understand that allowing someone into your home to care for your pet can be nerve racking, so I strive to be as mindful of this as possible. Some of the ways I ensure I do this are by speaking with the client before hand to go over anything specific they need done, entering the home in a safe and respectful manner, greeting the pet I'm caring for with enthusiasm, creating a bond with them & making the experience as fun and stress free as possible.

When boarding pets in my home, I offer a safe and comfortable environment tailored to each pet's needs. Depending on the pet's temperament and preferences, I can either crate them for security or allow them to roam freely in a designated pet-friendly area. I ensure that they have plenty of space to play, rest, and feel at ease. I’m committed to maintaining a routine similar to what they’re used to at home, including feeding schedules, exercise, and personal attention. If needed, I can also provide extra care, such as administering medications or offering special accommodations for senior or special-needs pets. When caring for pets in the client’s home, I focus on maintaining a familiar and safe environment for them. I will follow the established routines for feeding, walking, and any other care instructions provided. Whether it’s keeping them indoors, ensuring they have outdoor playtime, or administering any medications, I approach each task with responsibility and attention to detail.
