About: My name is Kelli, and I'm an animal lover and a nurse . I've been dog sitting for family and friends for the past ten years. I also have 3 doggies and a cat of my own. About: I have grown up with pets, dogs specifically my entire life! I love dogs of all ages, all shapes and sizes! Having an animal companion to spend time with is some of the best company you can ever have! In my family I have helped raise/train puppies, we have also fostered in my household, and I have taken care of animals for friends and family. I am a very active person, I teach phy ed, so I love getting out for walks or runs. I am a teacher, so during the summer my hours are pretty flexible. I do have to teach summer school in the mornings for a short period of time, but then I am available for mid morning or lunch time pet breaks! Making sure all animals are safe and well taken care of is very important to me. Following instructions on how a dog best responds is very critical. Dogs are animals of habit when trained, so I want to continue to follow routines and expectations that their owner has. In my full time job I am trusted with children and I understand that for many people, pets are loved just as much as a child.

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life — from growing up around horses and barn cats to caring for beloved family dogs. I have over 30 years of equine experience and have worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet assistant, which means I’m confident providing basic first aid, administering medications, and making sure your dog is safe, healthy, and happy. I have experience working as a vet tech and also worked as zookeeper at the NEW Zoo for a while. Today, I share my home with Luna, our fun-loving dog, and carry with me the experience of caring for our cherished golden doodle for 14 wonderful years. I live on a peaceful horse property with 5 acres of land (there is a safe fenced-in area for dogs away from the horses) where your dog will have plenty of space to run, sniff, and explore — or simply relax in the fresh country air. My goal is to make every dog feel like they’re part of the family, because to me, they truly are. I currently work from home so I am always available to love your pet and take care of their needs! I love taking care of dogs! Your dog will love my 5 acres of open land, plus a fenced yard and secure playpen for safe play. I also have three gentle, dog-friendly horses who keep the atmosphere calm and welcoming. I do have three cats, but they are barn cats and when they see a new dog, they are very, very good at hiding out. I live on a street that is tucked away from the busy road . Inside my house it is very pet friendly and I do have a nice kennel that dogs are able to go in if they need that.

I’ve had a dog for the majority of my life and while I am not in a place to have a dog of my own right now I am happy to help take care of yours I am a nurse working night shift looking to take care of dogs on my days off.
