“There is no one like Anna. She is a blessing from God for our dog. Can't say enough about her as a dog sitter and/or a person. We would never take our dog anywhere else and we have SUCH peace of mind when leaving our dog with Anna.”

“This environment was perfect for Orin. He loves people but dogs annoy him. She takes 1 dog at a time, has a great fenced in backyard, and my dog was very comfortable with her. She sent a picture soon after he arrived showing him very relaxed.”

“It’s hard to imagine a better dog sitting situation than with Alejandra. During our five days away we received daily photos and videos of what our dog Oliver was up to. I know he was treated like one of their own and was loved and cared for 24/7. Looking forward to asking Alejandra in the future to help to watch Oliver in the future.”

“The best review I can give is that I think my dog was depressed to be home because he missed Kathy and her husband so much!! Chewy loved being there,I loved getting the pictures to start my day. Best experience ever for me and my pup!!”

“Catherine always does great with our dog! He was nursing a leg injury and had some last minute meds from the vet, and Catherine was good about sending updates and giving him the meds as needed. He came home feeling better than when we dropped him off. I highly recommend her!”

“Amazing!! Faith was so attentive and made our anxious dogs quickly comfortable. When we picked them up they were tuckered out from having so much fun! We also received lots of pictures and videos, which we loved.”

“Alexia goes above and beyond for both our dog and for us; making sure we're informed and collaborating on behavior and obedience -- while providing a safe and active environment for our pet.”

“Morgan was wonderful not only to set up but she treated my dog like she was hers during her stay.. Took her for a walk, had her dog available for playtime, sent pics, had plenty of toys for her to play with... We will be using her in the future as she is in a very convenient location for us along with how well she treated my dog, Thank You Morgan!!”

“I have an older that needs a lot of attention and Kristen took the time to listen to what she needed and made sure she got her medication. She made sure my dog was safe, and sent me updates and pictures throughout her stay.”

“Willo was absolutely great with Kobe kept me updated with pictures and just did an awesome job my dog really enjoyed the company of her dogs and atmosphere surrounding her area.. I would choose her anytime”

“Jen and Larry were amazing! Our two little Yorkies got spoiled rotten! This is the first time we’ve left our little ones for more than just overnight, and the first time they’ve spent extensive time with bigger dogs. It was a positive experience for them. We received lots of pictures seeing Bella and Roxy getting lots of cuddles. Highly recommend!”

“Josie is so welcoming to our boxer girl & myself when I drop her off. She sends pictures while you are away if you would like them. The pictures warm my heart. She knows how much I miss her while gone. She communicates very well & is so nice. She is always ready when you come to pick up. Has everything packed, doggie fed & let out to potty before arriving. Thank you for loving them while we can’t.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sturgis
Emily was amazing - she took great care of my 2 large, very active dogs. Emily was great at communicating (I loved and appreciated getting photos updates and hearing how the dogs were doing). She even managed to get the dogs to eat which is tricky when they are staying at a new place. My dogs received a lot of attention and seemed to have a very good time. A winter storm adjusted our travel plans and Emily was very adaptable/helpful with our changing timelines. Emily was awesome! I can't recommend her enough.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
