About: I have grown up taking care of many different dogs and cats most of my life. Walking, feeding, grooming and playing! We have boarded animals for family and friends many times. We have lots of love and attention to give your pets when you need help! We currently do not have any other cats of dogs in the home unless we are pet sitting to give more attention to your animals! Currently I am a stay at home mom to 6 kids total. (2 elementary kids and 4 teenagers) so my schedule is very flexible to meet your needs. Available during the day, evenings and overnights. We have a spacious fenced in backyard. We live in a quiet neighborhood right next to thurston woods park which makes it an ideal area to walk your pets! We have a ranch style home with lots of room and baby gates for basement stairway to keep animals on the main level. We also have dog toys to play with your pet! Any food, crates or specifics you have for us to use while having your animal we will keep safe and separate for easy transfer. We have a clean home and smoke free!

About: I have experience in working in a vet clinic and on a local farm of large animals. I have been trained to minister care for all cats/dogs of all breeds/sizes. If your pet has any health issues such as diabetes or has hit senior years, no worries! New puppy paws running around? Glad to be of assistance to help them learn better manners and play til the nap! I am a full time student at Michigan State University but am off for the summer! I am very flexible and can provide care for your pets around my schedule. I’m free on the weekends as well. I am in the Kalamazoo area until August 14th, 2025 due to having to go back to school for clinicals. About: Throughout my life I have cared for two cats and a Bichon-Frise/Poodle Mix. I was involved in caring for my dog from the day he came to us: showing him how to use stairs within those first couple of days and teaching commands for the next couple of years. Inevitably he aged, and over time I developed a familiarity with handling the many facets of caring for an aging dog: arthritis, anxiety, mobility challenges, and mood shifts. I learned the tricks for keeping him calm in the car, and those for getting him to take his medications. In all those years I consistently played with him in our fields, took him for walks, and ignored his grouching when I bumped him in his sleep. I love all animals very much, but as an innately energetic person, and as someone who is convinced (like most) that I had the best dog in the world, I find I bond most quickly and most deeply with dogs. I would be thrilled to meet yours. I am a recent college graduate looking for work while I job search. During the day I apply to jobs on my computer. Then, at night, I apply to jobs on my computer. My schedule is almost entirely open. In general I do my best to follow the pet's pace/lead, prioritizing the animal's comfort whenever possible. I follow provided schedules in a regimented manner, and if a schedule is not provided, then I will develop one myself. I take things like medication management and potty breaks very seriously, aware that when an owner is gone, pets are often stressed, and this stress can exacerbate pain and/or behavioral struggles. Regardless of the weather I am always happy to move and be active, so regular walks/exercise with pets is no trouble. As a pet lover, quality time is never an inconvenience either. I am more than thrilled, if your pet is more of a lounger than a runner, to just sit with them and relax.
