That upbringing gave me a natural understanding of different personalities and needs, and a deep love for them all. I’m comfortable caring for pets who need extra attention, whether that’s administering medication, supporting a disability, or helping a shy or nervous animal feel safe. My gentle, quiet nature helps animals relax and settle in, so they can truly feel at home while you’re away. As a work-from-home freelancer, my schedule is wide open, giving me the flexibility to care for your pets whenever they need me, day or night. I have a big, fully fenced backyard, including an amazing dog run in case they need some alone time or need to be away from others. I also have an open home with plenty of room to take long naps in the sun.

“We felt so good about leaving our pup with Mikey for the day. She responded to our request through Rover promptly and was so friendly and clearly knowledgeable about dogs of all kinds - different breeds, different temperaments, puppies, etc. I could tell she loves dogs and really gets to know them. Drop-off was so easy - she was great about helping our pup get acclimated. He got comfortable fast and didn't even seem to care that I left lol. The property is a dream for a dog - a great fenced area up against the house but also access to trails in the woods. Dogs were also allowed inside and I loved that our pup got to be in a cozy home with people and some other dog friends while we were away for the day. We could tell Cid was so well taken care of. About: It feels silly to say 26 years of pet care when I am 26 years old. But I might as well, because I’ve never not had a dog! I am a golden retriever mom so I’m used to big energetic dogs. I watch family and friend’s dogs often, and decided I still needed more doggy time! I’m good for a good long walk, lets get some steps in! I also have senior dog experience, such as administering medication and special food and care instructions. I have a very flexible work schedule - I can work from anywhere, anytime, so I can be flexible for your pet’s needs and provide them the care they need As a pet owner and frequent traveler, I know that leaving your pet in someone else’s hands can be nerve wracking. About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

About: We are 6-member family with two young teenagers and two fur babies of our own. There's a nice large fenced backyard great for fetch and getting out zoomies. We are a homeschool family so our availability is pretty open. Myself and the kids are always home, and my husband is around evenings and weekends. We have a nice home with a large fenced backyard where your dog will have full access. We have two large crates available if your dog prefers to be crated, but not necessary. Your fur baby will be welcome on our comfy furniture as well. We are able to host dogs from 2 families. We are happy to accommodate if you'd prefer to be the only family.
