It was very good to get them as I was hoping my little pup-dog was not sad and missing us. She is a very much a people dog, so Jeanne was able to be her "people" for a week. I know she will be excited to return for another vacation in the future.”
About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

I also have two dogs of my own that I love to take on walks, play outside, and go on little trips with!! About: Ive taken care of and have watched many dogs for many years now! I have watched everyones dogs in my extended family as well as multiple neighbors and multiple friends dogs. I am very easygoing, kind, and would love to hangout with your pup! This is not my only job but my schedule is very flexible and i can work around your hours! I am almost always available on sunday and mondays! I can come or go as you please and or crate them! Although I am unable to bring your dog to my house at all

“Christine went above and beyond in so many ways to help us with our dog Knox. We were set to travel internationally when our plans to travel our dog changes and he was delayed for a few weeks. Christine took wonderful care of knox for 2 weeks—who got along perfectly with her dog. She made frequent trips to the dog park, baked special treats (with our concurrence), and sent frequent pictures. She managed a complex situation with the vet to get our paperwork to travel internationally. Through it all she was calm, collective and communicated exceptionally well. About: I grew up caring for dogs and decided to get my own as soon as I could! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can give extra care and attention to your furry friend! I have a large house on multiple acres of land so there is plenty of space to play. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and can usually adjust my schedule to fit your needs. This also allows me to take frequent breaks for potty and play. My two small dogs are unleashed in our home, and they are friendly and love to play with other dogs! I do not have a crate, but if you bring one, would be happy to use it upon request.

“Heather was amazing with our anxious, energetic German shepherd mix, Nox. Heather, her husband & their kids did great with Nox and she was a happy, tired pup when we picked her up. You can tell they are comfortable with and used to dogs of all kinds. Nox is terrified of thunderstorms & needs to take medication to help with her anxiety. Nox’s first night with Heather, there was a storm rough enough to knock their power out for several hours. Heather made accommodations to soothe Nox, administered Nox’s anxiety medication in the middle of the night and made sure Nox was able to be as comfortable as possible. If you’re looking for a sitter that will treat your pet just like you would— this is a great fit. They’re super flexible with time, availability and have lots of hands to help. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with them!”

Jalaina did a great job looking after my dog Baxter. Typically, I board him with a kennel, but he hates being in a cage and restricted. Jalaina was all I could have hoped for. She sent numerous pictures of Baxter that allowed me to have peace of mind when I needed a last minute sitter and a “homey” environment for Baxter. He warmed up to her immediately and even got comfy on her couch. Also, she walked him daily and when I picked him up he wasn’t anxious as he has been in kennel environments. I almost forgot to mention that she watched my Mom’s dog as well in the same weekend. We wanted to board them together because they are with each other most days. I can’t say enough about Jalaina and her sweet and gentle spirit which is why I think both dogs had such an enjoyable stay and I will not hesitate to book her again.
