I discovered my love for all animals during my two year veterinary assistant training I took in high school. I went on to work at a local vet clinic after high school where I cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats of all ages and abilities. A little about me. I have volunteered at various shelters and fostered for local rescues. We currently have a senior Boxer named Winston and an energetic German shepherd puppy named Storm. We also have 2 cats and 3 children, which furry guest will need to be comfortable around. I currently work from home so I will be available for your pets needs throughout the day. We often take walks around the neighborhood as well as enjoy the fenced backyard. Having pets of my own I know the struggle of having reliable care for your loved ones when your away and I want to share my home and alleviate some of that stress for others. About: I’m a loving person. I had two dogs myself (1 I adopted) it’s a lot of hard work but I wouldn’t trade it in for the world. I promise to take care of anyone’s dog as if it was a child which is what dogs are to families children not just animals. They’re the best non humans you could ask for! Sometimes all dogs need are love and attention and we are not always there to give it to them, kind of like humans. I always try to play with mine even if I’m busy from school work just to show him he’s not forgotten. Plain and simple, dogs are family and they should be treated as such and that’s the type of care you would get from me. My open days vary each week but will always be available 5 out of 7 days and the days that I am off, I am extremely flexible, happy to work with you on what fits your and your pets needs best! I am unable to care for other dogs at my own home due to have 3 dogs of my own. But more than happy to come to your home and love on your pets while you’re away as if they were my own! About: I’ve cared for dogs ever since I was 10! Family members and friends have relied on me many times to care for their fur babies while they were out of town! I also have experience with medications, hygiene (brushing, nails), and teaching a trick here and there! 😉 I just graduated from Ball State with a nursing degree! I work nights as a nurse 3 days a week and I love it! In my free time I enjoy working out, reading, and being outside.
