“Rosan was extremely amazing with my puppy Maple. He updated me regularly and his whole family was helping to take care of my puppy. He was able to help out with different times than were booked and helped me feel at ease with a difficult situation. Maple went on walks and had a friendly dog to show her around. Afterwards she was tuckered out and excited to see me! Thank you Rosan”

“My first experience with Rover with John was unbelievably perfect. John sent pictures and videos, gave exercise to my puppy for two days of daycare, and both days Honey came back exhausted and happy! John’s family helped to keep an eye on Honey too, while the pups were a perfect match for her. I HIGHLY recommend john to anyone who needs help watching their dog!”

MUST LOVE DOGS & CATS Boarding + Daycare in our home I live with four other people: one human (my partner Jason), one canine (a 2-year-old Border Collie Poodle girl), and two felines (a 1-year-old girl and a 13-year-old queen). All of them are very friendly and well socialized. However, this means that if I board your dog, or take them in for daycare, they have to be familiar and respectful with cats, and well-socialized with dogs. Ideally they love playing and chasing (but not the cats). I work from home on my budding dog business, and I am enrolled in two different prestigious academies, studying canine behavior and training. It is easy for me to have another dog around, but I will require a visit to my house first to ensure the dogs get along, and your dog won't chase my cats. Ideally, we go for a walk together first, to give the dogs the opportunity to meet on neutral turf. I will only take one guest dog at a time. They'll get to play to their heart's content with my dog in a fully fenced large yard. My partner Jason and I just love all animals. I will be your sitter / primary caretaker, but in our home, Jason will give a lot of additional affection and attention, when he's around. I’ve been a dog parent for over 20 years, and have lots of experience with all ages and special needs. I am very diligent about catering to your dog’s specific needs and keeping you updated as frequently as you like, including lots of pictures. FORCE-FREE POLICY I will never use choke, prong, slip, or e-collars of any kind. If you want me to take your dog on walks, please bring a harness for safety. I usually drive my own dog to various trails in the area every morning and we go 3+ miles, I'd be happy to take yours on hikes, too, if they like car rides and can handle the exercise. Your dog will be with me and my dog all day long. Throughout the day, I take frequent breaks and let them out, be it for more walks, or a game of fetch or chase in our large yard. As soon as I'm certified as a dog trainer, I'll be happy to take on training as well. I will watch your dog in my home. I’ll adhere to their normal schedule and needs. They'll have a friendly play buddy in my own dog.

“We absolutely love Eric! We've taken our pup, a 1-year-old German Shepherd, to him a few times and have it scheduled for her to be there once a week every week. She absolutely loves it, going for walks and playing with one or two other dogs all day while we're at work. We've always picked up a happy, tuckered, fulfilled dog at the end of the day, so what more can you ask for? Eric is also incredibly responsible and perceptive. He watches his dogs very carefully and will do anything to make sure everyone has the safest and most fun day possible. He takes the care and comfort of the dogs very seriously which gives us a lot of peace of mind while we are at work. We're truly so thrilled to have found Eric and can't wait to hear what amazing day our pup had every week! We cannot recommend Eric enough.”

“Jackie is so kind and very communicative. She took care of my Chihuahua for one full day and sent pictures to show how things were going. I highly recommend her for the dog daycare! My dog was happy.”

“Georgia was great! She was really responsive and Cabot came home happy and well-cared for! Georgia was also flexible on pick up time, which I appreciated!”

“Louis & Haley put Archie at ease right away with their calm, welcoming manner. It was his first visit and I left him for 3.5 hours. He was calm and happy when I picked him up. I know he would be happy to go back and hang with them again.”

“Our 6 year old GSD, Flynn, has been with Chad since he was 4 months old. Up until a few months ago in a doggie day care, and now spending 2 days a week with him in a more 1:1 setting. Chad's calm, nurturing demeanor and unwavering patience and consistency with our often anxious and always energetic guy makes such a huge different for our family. Flynn's 2 days a week with Chad mean that he is a calmer, happier, less anxious dog at home. All of this being said, I think the biggest recommendation that we could give would be that whether it was at day care drop off or Chad pulling into our driveway for a visit, Flynn can never get to Chad fast enough. For us- that says it all!”

“Wonderful sitter. This was my first time leaving Benji with anyone I didn’t know, and Hannah made me feel so relaxed about it. Benji had a great time from the sounds of it, playing in their garden and running around. I would definitely rebook if I were in the area again.”

“Danielle was wonderful. She accommodated our repeatedly changing schedule and was excellent to deal with. Danielle’s manor is calm and peaceful. Both dogs took extremely well to her. Danielle sent photos and videos. I would definitely recommend Danielle and hire her again.”

“would definitely book again in the future! Molly loved it and had so much fun!!!”

“Christina was wonderful. She was so kind and considerate and thoughtful. She welcomed my very large boxer into her home, and took great care of him. She really went above and beyond and sent me pictures and updates to let me know how he was doing. I highly recommend her!”

I have a very flexible work schedule and work from home most days. Being a mom, I’m around most nights. I am also available most weekends. I have fenced in yard where your furry friend can play with my dog. We’re on a quiet street where we take lots of walks. I can also crate when preferred.

“Kate was wonderful with our dog Cricket. She took him on short notice, brought him on a hike and sent us cute pictures. Best of all is her majestic dog Cedar, who immediately made friends with our pup. Taking Cricket to Kate’s place felt like the best type of summer camp in gorgeous Vermont woods. We will absolutely be booking again soon. Cannot recommend Kate and Cedar enough!”

About: I've been an animal lover and taken care of pets my whole life! Growing up, we had the sweetest yellow lab named Pete. Now, my partner and I adopt old pets and care for them during their retirement. I love animals and will care for your pets as if they were my own. ****** PLEASE NOTE ****** that we have two dogs (an elderly deaf pug named Alice, and a senior terrier mix named Edie) and one cat. Our pets are friendly towards other dogs, cats, and people who come to visit/ stay with us. Please let me know if you have any concerns about your pet staying with our pets, or if they don't have experience with cats. We can discuss and ensure it'll be a good mutual fit. I am an educator at the local elementary school, and offer pet care services to neighbors and visitors to the area. My availability is generally flexible on the weekends, and can extend into the week on a case-by-case basis. I generally offer 3-4 walks per day, including one longer adventure to mountain trails, or another nearby, dog friendly destination. I'm happy to bring your pup to any of their favorite spots (within reason). Of course, it goes without saying that pets are allowed on the furniture and more than welcome to snuggle in bed at night, also open to crating or any special care required.

“Kim provided doggie daycare to my doodle Rooney while I hit the slopes on our VT vacay. Roo came home happy & tired after playing w/ his friends all day. Kim even provides pick-up/drop-off services which are very convenient & much appreciated! Highly recommend!”

Laurie P.
“There are three things that set Laurie apart from other dog sitters: 1. She is reliably caring and understanding with our pet. She gets our dog, and loves her quirks. 2. Laurie is totally dependable. She trekked through 12’’ of snow up a steep driveway to visit our pet on a cold, winter morning. 3. Laurie is proactive about resolving problems whether they are behavioral, medical or something else. If your pet won’t take her medicine, she can handle it. If your pet needs some extra TLC, she can handle it. Laurie also walks our dog, sits with her and gives her much-needed attention and checks in with texts, photos and videos. I highly recommend her.”

“Rebecca has been my lil pug’s go-to dog walker and dog sitter for some time now and I can’t recommend her enough! Alice (the pug) lights up when she sees Rebecca and I can tell that Rebecca genuinely enjoys her time with Alice. I always receive lots of cute pics and updates from the two of them. It never feels like Rebecca is just “checking a box” with her Alice walks - they seem like much longer (and more adventurous) walks than I take Alice on! I totally trust Rebecca with my precious pug.”
