About: I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs and cats and I am comfortable doing so. I am also comfortable watching puppies, who are not potty trained, and cleaning up after them. I have had many puppies in my life and cleaned up a lot of messes. Depending on your requests (and your dog's preference), I will take your dog on a long (2 to 3 mile) walk a day or to the dog park (probably in Pheonixville: on Longford Rd). A dog deserves to get all his energy out, and I do not charge more for walking them. I recently moved to the Valley View Apartments in Pottstown, PA. I work part-time at The Home Depot (6 minutes away). I have a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY and I am returning to School this fall, part-time, to begin a new journey in Engineering. I love dogs and I would enjoy watching them and taking care of them. I have had dogs my entire life, and due to my recent move, this is the first time in my life I am without them in residence. Your dog(s) is free to go and sleep wherever they want in my apartment. My dog, Oliver, is a gentle, sweet pup with random bursts of puppy energy. He suffers with epilepsy, which is where I gained experience administering (over fifty: not an exaggeration) pills a day to my dog. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.
“Dawn was amazing with our babies! She sent multiple pictures and updates everyday and they seemed to feel super comfortable and loved while we were away! Highly recommend 💕 Thank you so much Dawn!”

“Julie, Caleb and their children made Snickers stay wonderful. They kept me updated with pictures and how Snickers day was going. My husband and I were able to have a great vacation knowing Snickers was getting lots of love and attention! We will definitely use them again!!!”

“Alexa was amazing with our pup. She was super responsive and sent tons of pictures every day while we were gone. I highly recommend Alexa to anybody that needs a dog sitter that will treat your pups just as lovingly as you do.”

“Manu and Dhruv took great care of our dog while we were at the beach for over a week. We received daily pictures and updates so we knew he was doing well. Highly recommend this sweet family to take care of your pup! Will be booking with them again :)”

About: What sets me apart is the level of personalized care and experience I bring. I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. While we don’t have a fenced yard, I prioritize frequent walks, outdoor time, and supervised potty breaks to ensure dogs stay active and engaged. We also have a friendly, goofy, and welcoming Golden Retriever who loves having dog friends and helps new pups feel comfortable quickly. I focus on consistency, safety, and making sure every dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not an afterthought. I’m available to board your dog or provide care for a few hours, depending on your needs. I’m fully available on weekends, and I also work from home on Mondays and Fridays, allowing me to give your dog consistent attention and companionship on those days as well. I usually take our dog out every four hours. But depending on your dog needs, i can adjust.Depending on your pups needs, i can keep them separate from our dog or keep them together. I am flexible.
“Sarah was absolutely amazing. Being so timid I was worried about nova but she kept me updated daily as to how she was adjusting and getting along. Nova and Chloe both loved Sarah and I would absolutely rebook her again when I need to travel.”

“Joel is prompt to respond. My dog can be uncomfortable meeting new people and dogs. Joel has a keen understanding of dog behavior and uses lots of positive reinforcement. He handles greetings, meal times, and playtime in a professional manner. I felt comfortable leaving my anxious dog in his care and my dog quickly warmed up to him, his wife, and his dogs.”

“Sruthi and Abha were so wonderful to our little Meatball! While we were on vacation, it was clear that Meatball was too! They sent updates with photos multiple times a day. It was so sweet and my kids, in particular, loved hearing what adventure their dog was having each day! We look forward to booking when we go away again! Thanks!!!”

“I had a great experience with Amanda. She was very friendly and communicative and conscientious. She is a very large, beautiful yard for the dogs to play. She also sent updates and photos.. I would highly recommend her.”

“Chonlada was an amazing caretaker for my two year Doberman mix Judy. I had to book a rover sitter for boarding last minute and was also my first time; she answered right away and was amazing through my time out of town. She kept me updated with plenty of pictures and videos and updates! She also has a ton of secure safe yard space that my dog absolutely loved, and her dog got along with mine great. Cannot recommend enough and will 100% use again. Thank you so much!!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Mary was so responsive and took such loving care of our dog, making sure he was comfortable, happy, and well-exercised. From the moment I met her, I could tell she genuinely loves animals, and it showed in how she treated our pup. She sent me several photos and gave regular updates, which gave me peace of mind. I came home to a happy and relaxed dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter!”
“This was Wilson’s 2nd stay with Mike and Deb. He was so excited to see them and was very comfortable right away (which is not his usual MO). We got daily updates, including pictures and activity reports. And, once again, we received a journal highlighting his walks - complete with times and potty reviews. We know Wilson is in good hands when he stays with Mike and Deb. They’re the best!”

“Tiffany was great with our two dogs. This was the first time I have used Rover, and was a little nervous as one of our dogs is a rescue dog and gets scared easily. Tiffany communicated timely and sent photos of how they were doing. She is an excellent dog sitter and will use her again!”

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
