About: I have worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years and enjoy having new visitors. Offer a fun and safe environment for all kinds and sizes. Enjoy taking pictures and sending updates frequently. Spent over 4 years rescuing, fostering, and transporting many different animals with a focus on Great Danes. We have fostered and trained over 100 Dogs! We have lived all over the country and also Germany for 3 years. Contact me with any questions! I'm an open book :) Flexible pickups and drop offs. Pets are treated like family while in my care. We have a large secure fenced yard and friendly dogs who love to play with new friends. Someone is always home and the dogs are free to go in and out, weather permitting, any time. Everyone is fed individually when we wake up and again after dinner if fed twice a day. The entire house is fenced in; so no chance of your fur baby darting out the door and running off. I have multiple extra crates if needed. If dogs aren’t getting along; I have gates that I put up as needed and an extra 12x12 kennel in the yard for outside time.

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own family. I understand that leaving your pup can be stressful, so I aim to make the experience seamless; for both you and your furry companion. I know every fur baby has their own personality, so I take the time to understand their habits, likes, and quirks. For boarding: I accept only one client at a given time and I will keep you updated with photos, messages, and videos while you are away. Your fur baby’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities! I am a dog mom of a 4 year old German Shepherd-Belgian Malanois mix and he’s my soul pup. I am open for a meet and greet to figure if we’re a good fit and look forward to meeting you and your companion! 🐾 I have a very flexible, full-time availability, which allows me to dedicate consistent attention and care to your pet throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, with structured potty breaks at least three times a day, along with walks, playtime, and companionship tailored to your pet’s needs. I’m available for dog walking and drop-in visits until 8 PM, and I also offer daytime pet sitting. Because I’m home most of the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I intentionally maintain a calm, consistent environment and closely follow each pet’s routine, so they experience minimal disruption while you’re away. In my home, I care for a well-trained 4-year-old German Shepherd–Belgian Malinois mix. Our days are thoughtfully structured, with a morning walk around 8 AM, enrichment and rest throughout the day, supervised outdoor play in a secure fenced yard, and an evening walk around 6 PM. My dog is both crate-trained and trusted to free roam with boundaries, which allows me to comfortably accommodate a range of care styles—whether your pet prefers crate time, structured routines, or supervised freedom. I am mindful of temperament, energy levels, and compatibility to ensure a safe and positive environment for all pets in my care. For pets who enjoy additional activity, I also offer optional add-ons such as dog park visits, extended walks, or longer outdoor adventures/hikes at an additional rate. 1. Dog Walking Walks are tailored to your dog’s needs, whether it’s a relaxed stroll or a more active outing. 2. Boarding (In My Home) Boarding includes 1 daily walk, 3+ potty breaks, yard playtime, feeding as per schedule, and plenty of companionship. Dogs are supervised closely and never left alone for long periods. I maintain your dog’s routine as closely as possible to ensure comfort and security. 3. Drop-In Visits Drop-ins include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship, along with light clean-up if needed. I ensure your pet is comfortable, safe, and cared for during each visit. Will include short walks (if needed).

About: I’ve spent my whole life—28 wonderful years—loving, learning, and caring for dogs of all kinds, from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle Saint Bernards! I adore all animals (cats included 🐾) and know how important your pet’s happiness and comfort are. I’d be honored to care for your furry family member like my own. ❤️ I'm a mom to two amazing toddlers. Caring for animals is something I truly love, and I can’t wait to spend time with your furry friend—whether that’s walks, playtime, or overnight care. My schedule is flexible if your pet is kid-friendly and can get along with my cockapoo. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. For example, I once cared for a miniature schnauzer who needed lots of love and attention. When I had to leave the house, he felt safest in his kennel, so I made sure he had his favorite toy, something that smelled like me, and a small treat to help ease his anxiety. I fully understand that each pet requires different care, and I am more than happy to accommodate your dog’s individual needs to ensure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times. 🐾💛

About: I was raised with lots of puppies and other animals. I have two fur babies now, Oakley and Remi! I would love to visit your babies and keep them company while you are away from them. I work full time but have a couple days off a week on a rotating schedule. I am willing to travel and make our schedules work together as best as possible. Leaving your pets is very difficult but I would love to be able to help ease your worries! I am responsible and trustworthy. You would not have to worry about the job not getting done.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young child, my passion for animals encouraged me to pursue a career working with animals. In recent years I have worked animal husbandry caring for domestic pets, exotic big cats, wolves, snakes, birds and more. I am comfortable working with all sizes of dogs and as well as other species. I have 5 years vet tech experience so can help with medical issues and medications as needed. I am fully available except when I’m out of town helping my sick father (usually a week each month). I can check in as frequently or long as you need, but I do have an older 30lb (dog friendly) pup who needs medications twice daily and I am the only one that can provide those to him. If he cannot be with me while providing other pets care then I will need to return to him once morning and evening to ensure he is taken care of. Can stay overnight preferably only one night at a time so I can return to my pets. I have recently moved so no longer have a fenced yard, but have a large home with dog runs on trees in the backyard. I have an easy going 30lb Pomeranian mutt named Teddy. My dog is very easy to get along with other dogs, as I have fostered and watched other animals numerous times in the years of me having him. I watch my brother’s pitbull mix named Hercules on a regular basis as well. I do have cats so would prefer if they were used to them, but have an area of my home doggy gated off so they can feel safe when other pets visit my home.

FAQs for Dog Walking - Stoutland

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Stoutland. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.

The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Stoutland after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.

Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .

walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
