About: Caring for pets has been a rewarding experience in my life. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs and livestock as well. Animals bring me a joy that people cannot. I’ve learned that a happy pet is a well cared for pet. I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs. I love walks and playful interactions with dogs, and I make sure every dog feels comfortable around me. I am currently registered as a full time college student, but I do have about half the week available to care for your lovely animals. I do have two of my own furry dogs at home, which I take care of on the daily basis. I am able to provide proper care with exercise as well as handling excited dogs.

About: What sets me apart is my ability to quickly build trust with even the most timid or independent puppy, dog, or senior dog in your family. It will be my primary job outside of taking care of my elderly parents. I have the flexibility to be able to spend quality time. I will take care of your pet in your home, based of your specific instructions. Pets do better in their normal environment, it helps with trust.
About: I've been doing pet sitting and pet visits for friends and family friends on and off for a while after graduating from high school. I usually inform those I'm working for when I arrive and leave the residence (If I'm just doing visits). I also try to inform of notable things (i.e, one of my clients dogs was sneakily eating the medicated wet food for their cat). The owners are more than welcome to reach out and ask anything they need to. I have no other financial outing at this time, so as long as everything lines up nicely, I should be able to fill into your and my scheduals proper. Please be aware that, like everyone I'm sure, that there may be sudden happenings or other comitments that may make me unable to work sometimes. I will do my best to keep my availability updated whenever possible. Normally, I let the pets out of their cages to let them stretch their legs and walk around, either by letting them out into the backyard or by preparing them for a walk. If I am visiting a clients home, I leave the dogs out of their cages while I'm there to let them relax and to eat if it's a established time for them to eat at. I make sure to monitor them, but I don't keep eyes on them every second they're out of the cage. I try my best with them, and try to be fair to them if they're misbehaving. I haven't cared for a pet that has gone out of its way to harm me (yet), but I try not to let that become a sort of cocky attitude.

Samuel was courteous and professional and kept in regular contact with me throughout his stay with messages and pictures. I came home to happy pups and a house that looked exactly the way I left it. Lauren is a gem! She house-sat my dog for 9 days and even took care of my plants! I was so nervous about taking a vacation away from my dog, but the regular updates and pictures helped me to feel comfortable and enjoy my vacation. Ana did an incredible job watching our two dogs for an entire week. We met twice before our trip and she asked all the right questions and was extremely thorough. She sent us updates throughout each day and it may us feel so confident and happy to know our pups were in good hands. Our pups take meds and have a specific routine and she was able to follow it perfectly. She’s great with communication and taking care of fur children. She’s truly an animal lover. Christian and his wife are fantastic sitters!! We felt 100% comfortable leaving our 3 pups in their care. They sent updates, photos and videos every day while we were away so we could clearly see how happy and spoiled they were. We were on a week long vacation and I didn’t have a single worry while we were away. We have (what we consider) difficult dogs due to various things and they were able to handle them very well. This was my second booking with Mari and she did a fantastic job! She was great at keeping me in the loop with photos and updates on my kitties. My favorite thing of all was that she was able to make my SUPER shy cat, Flora, come out of her shell and explore/want pets instead of just hiding away in a closet. I think it speaks volumes to how kind and patient Mari is with the animals she cares for. I would trust her to watch my cats anytime and recommend her to others as well!
