16. Debe C.
About: I previously did rover for a few years but stopped when working in office as I want to actually be home with the babies I’m watching to fully supervise and love them. I have two pups under 18 lbs, both fixed, 13 yo male and 4 yo female. The 13 yo is a grump but he’s a tripod and just stays in his own areas sleeping all day. The 4 yo needs is shy at first but she is very likely to wear your pup out playing! (Well if your pup is interested in that she’s happy to chill too) Your pup would have free run of living room and kitchen. If need be I can do like I do with foster pups and decrease the space between kitchen and living room with a long baby gate. If I had to pop out for some odd reason, I can kennel if you prefer and if not, I would separate my pups into my bedroom just to totally reduce any risk. Sometimes I separate mine just to give everyone a little solo time too so they can rest easier. I like to ensure all I can do to keep good vibes. I have a medium large fully fenced back yard / about 20 yards long. No cats or children in house. Plenty of toys and pups are def allowed on couch or have options of pup cot or large bed or pup sofa. I’m currently working full remote and am home all day. My pups are my world and probably eat better than me. I know they are dependent on us for reassurance, love, and care and I want to ensure I live up to that. During my break from Rover, I was fostering puppies. While it was lousy that I was in the office and not with them all day, it was better than them being at risk at the shelter. I’ve fostered over 100 different puppies in the last few years so I’ve learned a lot about different personalities and special needs. And particularly about making a comfortable environment that they feel safe and loved in an unfamiliar area. My area of town occasionally has dogs roaming so I would not be taking them on walks. All outside time would be in my secure yard with me watching. My immediate neighbors do not have dogs either so there’s no concern about what’s at the other side of the fence except the occasional cat that wanders by. Those can cause a ruckus sometimes! I also regularly check the red crosses pet first aid app just to try to stay current on what to do in an emergency like choking.

17. Genesis V.
“Genesis has always been so great with my dog. I’ve always felt secure when I’m away. Personally, I’ve had her pet sit for us constantly before she joined Rover but I can honestly say she’s always been professional and loving towards my Copper. I will always recommend her to my friends and family she really goes above and beyond.”

18. Brianna C.

“If you are thinking of booking Brianna, do it! You will not be disappointed! This was my first time using Rover to find a dog sitter and I was a little nervous at first but Brianna was more than amazing! She sent me super cute pictures of my super cute pup and even wrote me a message talking about their days together! She even went out of her way to turn on our porch light for when we got home and tidy up our bed from our pup messing it up. I will definitely rebook Brianna in a heartbeat! Seriously the best! ??”

19. Odalys H.

“**Professional + Caring + Respectful** This was my first time booking a Rover house stay so I was really nervous. Odalys made the entire process so easy, even agreeing to a meet and greet a few days before my planned travel to make sure it was a good fit, and it was. She was very patient with me and my pups, followed the care instructions perfectly, sent multiple pictures and updates throughout each day that I was away, and was very respectful of my home. I could tell from the pics that my stranger averse pups really warmed up to her so I know what she was kind to them. I plan to book her again and would highly recommend her. Her responsiveness, attention to detail, and kindness really set the bar!”

20. Jeremiah H.

“Jeremiah house sat and looked after our two dogs, he kept us updated throughout our trip, sending pictures and recapping the events of their day. He was courteous, professional and our dogs seemed to thrive under his care. This was our first experience with Rover and we really appreciate the level of attention and communication we received. We will definitely book with him again!”
