From a young age, I was the little girl bringing home the stray cats, dogs and even the occasional blow snakes pleading to keep them (sadly, I was never allowed to lol). That early passion turned into a lifelong love for animals of all kinds. Raised in what could be described as a miniature zoo, I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, frogs, birds, snakes, turtles, hamsters, and even horses. So, you could say I’ve had some hands on experience with just about every kind of creature, and I genuinely love them all! Your pets will receive exceptional, personalized care, with plenty of love, playtime, and attention while you're away. I have a securely fenced backyard where pups can get some fresh air, stretch their legs, do their business, and enjoy a good game of fetch if that’s their thing. I am a stay at home momma (I do some work from home for my husband’s business) and I have a very flexible schedule, which means your pet will rarely be left alone and will always have someone nearby to go for walks and offer treats, tummy rubs, or a cozy lap. I have two animal loving daughters Hope (10) and Kendall (16) who take their unofficial roles as “assistant snugglers” very seriously (to the point where they will actually argue over who gets to sleep with the dog in their bed). Also part of the household is Buddy, our 9 year old teacup Yorkie. He’s tiny, but don’t let his size fool you, he will sometimes squeeze out a bark or two at new doggy friends upon meeting to establish his “alpha status” (it's a small dog thing), but after he gets that first initial bark out then he’s over it, and he gets along well with other animals, especially with cats. Most of the time, he’s doing his own thing (like sleeping on the back of the couch like a cat) and enjoying the perks of being a senior pup with main-character energy. And last but not least! We also have one small, two legged wild card, our 2year old son Christian (who sometimes reminds me more of a baby raccoon with how much he loves to explore and get into everything, including the trash can). He’s sweet and snuggly, and very smart and curious. He occasionally tries to sneak a bite of dog food or help himself to a dog treat or two when no one’s looking, but don’t worry, we keep a close eye on him (and the snacks!). While we make sure everyone sticks to their own food groups, he definitely adds a little extra character to the house, speaking of which (in full transparency) my home is cozy, welcoming, and full of love… and also sometimes full of toys, friends, crumbs, and the general chaos that comes with raising three kids and a Yorkie with a complex. So while it may not look exactly like a magazine spread as much as I’d like it to, it’s a happy, safe, and pet-loving environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. I understand dogs can get excited or overly vocal in new environments. I use calm supervision, structure, and positive redirection to help manage barking and keep all pets comfortable and relaxed during their stay While you're away, I’ll send regular photo and message updates so you can see how much fun your fur baby is having, and rest easy knowing that they are safe, happy, and maybe even a little bit spoiled. Throughout the day, I have ample time to walk, play with, cuddle, and give attention to your pet(s). I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely potty and play for short periods. Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome to roam freely indoors. Others may need to be crate-trained (I have extra crates available). Pets are allowed on the couch, and I will follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, schedules, and furniture access.

About: I have had a wide range of cats and dogs that I have taken care of during my entire life. I know how to relate to and take care of several different breeds of dogs, I have a high rate of tolerance and I can really understand what are the necessities of any dog. I love them with all my heart just as you do as the owner, as I am a dog owner as well. I know how important it is to have a place that you can trust your pet to be while you are traveling, at work, or just need to go somewhere for a moment and need someone to trust to take care of your furry friend. I have different days available each week however each of those days I'm completely available to help out with whatever I possibly can during our scheduled times, unless otherwise noted. I have a very spacious home where your dog/cat can roam as they please and find the comfortable place that they wish to relax. I also can give them attention based upon their needs if they have dietary needs, etc... and just let them relax and take care of them, feed them and take them on walks. I am currently studying part-time, so I have plenty of time to look after your pups or kitties. Same-day bookings are currently available for house-sitting, drop-in visits, or dog walking. I can be trusted with keys/codes; I am very prudent about respecting others' property and only request that all relevant house rules are laid out before house-sitting. I will maintain reasonably consistent communication throughout the booking to keep the pup and/or kitty owners informed and rest assured their loved ones are in good hands.

About: I’ve had dogs and been a dog sitter my whole life and currently have 2 Golden Retrievers that I adore. My kids are in college so I’m an empty nester and housesit or dogsit for a million of my friends so I decided to try Rover. I work FTE from home so I’m home (your place or mine) 100% during the day. I love to go to dog parks and all dogs connect with me. Let’s chat! I work full time from home and have 3 dog breaks built into every workday. At 8, at Lunch and after work. I usually start the day with a dog walk, hit the dog park at noon (or just a regular walk if you aren’t a dog park person!) and after I feed my dogs we do another walk at night, along with potty breaks in between. My dogs are always with me—never outside without me and I’m big on giving them lots of potty times and walk time. I’m hyper vigilant with their care and well being

About: Back home when I lived in Florida, I used to work at a veterinary practice that my dad owns (Sunset Point Animal Hospital). I spent lots of time working there through middle school and a lot of time in high school and my early years of college. The biggest thing that sets me apart is that if there’s ever an emergency, I know what to do. I currently travel for work all across the US, right now, my homebase is currently in Salt Lake City. I install for Vivint during the summer months and right now I am in the off-season and have a bunch of free time. Your pet will have my undivided attention and will be taken care of as best as possibly could. No matter what the task is I will be there to do it exceptionally.

About: I grew up with different dog breeds and always enjoyed walking and playing with them. I have also helped take care of my neighbors dogs and also pick up after them. I put my experience as 4 years because that is the amount of time we have consistently had dogs in our home without any gaps in between. I also have experience bathing my own dogs and providing love and affection, so I’m more than willing to do the same for others. I am available in the evenings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday’s. On the weekends, I am available all day Saturdays and can also do Sunday afternoons. I am willing to drive out to your house and house sit. I will pick up after them during potty break and provide them treats. If I use up the dog treats, I am more than happy to restock. If dog crates need cleaning I can do that as well.

About: Hi, my name is Alex, I am a full time student at the University of Utah. I have years of pet care experience, including larger dog breeds and anxious animals. Starting this fall, I am switching to in-person classes Monday, Tuesdays & Thursday. I have full availability Wednesdays, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I am available for potty breaks and a check-ins in-between classes. My house is on the smaller/ medium side, very peaceful and cozy. There is a fenced yard but I normally take the dogs on a longer walk mornings and evenings.
