About: I've taken care of all types of animals most of my life. Walking, bathing, light grooming, playing fetch, car rides and lots of cuddles. I love them all. Currently in between jobs, taking care of my father and was recently let go from my job. I driver for uber for extra cash and would love to trade that work for being able to play and cuddle with your fur babies. Raised in what could be described as a miniature zoo, I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, frogs, birds, snakes, turtles, hamsters, and even horses. I have two animal loving daughters Hope (10) and Kendall (16) who take their unofficial roles as “assistant snugglers” very seriously (to the point where they will actually argue over who gets to sleep with the dog in their bed). Also part of the household is Buddy, our 9 year old teacup Yorkie. He’s tiny, but don’t let his size fool you, he will sometimes squeeze out a bark or two at new doggy friends upon meeting to establish his “alpha status” (it's a small dog thing), but after he gets that first initial bark out then he’s over it, and he gets along well with other animals, especially with cats. Most of the time, he’s doing his own thing (like sleeping on the back of the couch like a cat) and enjoying the perks of being a senior pup with main-character energy. And last but not least! We also have one small, two legged wild card, our 2year old son Christian (who sometimes reminds me more of a baby raccoon with how much he loves to explore and get into everything, including the trash can). He’s sweet and snuggly, and very smart and curious. He occasionally tries to sneak a bite of dog food or help himself to a dog treat or two when no one’s looking, but don’t worry, we keep a close eye on him (and the snacks!). While we make sure everyone sticks to their own food groups, he definitely adds a little extra character to the house, speaking of which (in full transparency) my home is cozy, welcoming, and full of love… and also sometimes full of toys, friends, crumbs, and the general chaos that comes with raising three kids and a Yorkie with a complex. So while it may not look exactly like a magazine spread as much as I’d like it to, it’s a happy, safe, and pet-loving environment where your furry friend will feel right at home. I understand dogs can get excited or overly vocal in new environments. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Neighbors, family, and friends have asked me to watch their pets in the past, and I also have the opportunity to work with, and take care of, horses everyday. I’m currently working part time in the mornings during the weekdays, so I have lots of time to play with your animals! I can house sit Mon-Sun morning, noon, and evening, but will go home to sleep at night. I can stop by to play with your animals or take them on a walk any day of the week from noon on. I can stop by and just let them out to go potty throughout the day as well if that’s all you need :) If I end up house sitting for you I will make sure your animals get attention and aren’t ignored. Over the years, we’ve cared for two Havanese dogs and a yellow Labrador Retriever. We currently have a very sweet female Havanese who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Our daughter also loves playing with dogs and takes great care of them. We have a spacious, fenced yard where your small dog can play safely. We only accept hypoallergenic or non-shedding breeds. We generally welcome dogs weighing between 3 and 25 pounds and allow them to lounge on our couches. However, for safety reasons, we cannot accommodate aggressive dogs, so you may need to find another sitter in that case. Cindy is a full-time stay-at-home mom, so dogs in our care receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day.
