Greg is the best!! My two dogs can be shy with new people but they instantly warmed up to him and they come back from their walks so happy! He's very punctual and goes the extra mile to make the pups happy!

About: For the first time in 10 years I do not have a dog of my own, so I'd love to help take care of others! I am currently working full time but I am able to go home daily on my lunch breaks to take care of your loved one! My home becomes your pet's home! I view pets as children. I will enforce and backup your rules/training, but other than that, they are more than welcome to make themselves at home!

Mary walked my dog Willo (2 years, some puppy energy, 50lb) for three weeks while I was out of town. We had great communication the whole time and Mary was proactive about helping me keep Willo’s paws comfortable in the snow. We had a great experience with her and would book again!

About: I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight house sitting for cats or dogs, and I’m happy to provide daily exercise, playtime, feeding, and medication support as needed. Whether your pet loves long walks, quiet companionship, or consistent routines, I tailor my care to fit their needs and personality. I grew up with mid-size dogs and frequently watched smaller dogs for family friends in Pittsburgh. After moving upstate, I became a devoted cat dad to my black cat, Lola, for three years. Since then, I’ve cared for cats of all ages, including seniors with specific feeding and medication schedules. I'm attentive and responsive to every animal’s unique rhythm. I currently work remotely as a freelancer, which gives me the flexibility to drop in or house-sit for quality time with your pets during the day. I enjoy staying active and love being outdoors—so your dog will always get a good walk (and a happy walking buddy!). For overnight stays, I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. I pride myself on being responsible, respectful, and kind—treating every home and animal as if they were my own. As a freelancer who works remotely, I have a flexible schedule that lets me give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights provided there's stable wifi. I am a trustworthy house sitter/ walker who priotizes clear communication on expectations and house standards. I do not offer pet care from my own home.

I cannot board animals with me at my own home. Apologies! I have a fenced yard with my own pets. I make sure my pets go on daily walks and play constantly with my cats! As you can imagine I’ve worked with all sorts of dogs. Some totally goofy to some begin extremely aggressive due to fear or pain. You name it I’ve experienced it. There’s nothing I won’t do for these hairy family members. DM me so we can chat about scheduling you a vacation whether it’s a long, extravagant trip or a short sweet little trip. Dakota was so good with our 2 dogs. They both have strong pray drives and the walking trails are thru the woods so it can sometimes be challenging to control them. They warmed up so fast to her and their walks together went really well. She always gave detailed reports of the walks and sent photos….I really like that ? She is a pleasure to talk to and she has a large dog of her own which gives her that experience that only dog “owners” have. I will definitely be recommending her to friends.

About: Hello! I’m Jess, and I provide specialized walking and drop-in visits across the Catskill, Hudson, and greater Columbia/Greene County area. I don’t just walk dogs; I use every visit as an opportunity to build confidence, improve focus, and reinforce leash manners. My approach is built entirely on modern, science based Positive Reinforcement and LIMA (Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive) principles. I believe in rewarding behaviors we want to see, helping dogs learn safely, without the use of intimidation or aversive tools. I am currently completing dog training and behavior studies through the CATCH Academy curriculum. This ongoing education ensures your dog is in the hands of an informed and committed professional. I currently work part time on Sundays and Wednesdays, so I have plenty of time during the week to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I focus on leash manners during every walk to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience. I can work with dogs on impulse control skills to help reduce pulling through positive reinforcement and force free training methods. If your dog has any triggers I will work to maintain distance and reward when calm to ensure success and keep stress to a minimum for your pup.

About: Hi, I’m Abigail! I recently moved back to the Hudson Valley to develop my career in the environmental field. I’m currently working a hybrid position in ecological restoration. When I'm not spending time nature and with plants, I love caring for animals! Growing up with animals in my household ranging from cats to dogs (to even turtles and birds) has given me an affinity to not just adore all types of animals, but has given me the proper skills to understand the responsibility of caring for an animal. I understand that all animals are unique in what makes them feel comfortable and loved and will always do what is best to ensure the safety and comfortability of your pet! For dogs: - A meet and greet would be a great idea beforehand to get to know both you and your dog, so I can provide the best service possible! - I love being outdoors as much as I can, so I plan to take your dog for long walks as much as I can! - As for potty breaks, I think three times a day is the minimum. Once in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime. However, if I am not working, I can take them out as much as you/they desire! - Maintaining your pets feeding routine is very important and I take special care to be considerate of any special dietary needs. - Lastly, I know it can be hard for some animals to be separated from their loved ones. I will make sure they are feeling loved while they are under my care. For cats: - I currently care for an orange tabby rescue, named Hugo, who can be a bit needy, (although him being special only makes me love him more!), so I understand that cats can require a lot of attention and love, and I will ensure to give them plenty while they are under my care. - Cleanliness is very important when caring for cats, as the owner and of a cat, I know my cat can get upset if his litter box is not kept in pristine condition, and when caring for your cat I will do the same! - Diet is just as important for animals as it is for humans. Feeding your pet according to their needs is something I will take seriously. I work a hybrid position, with some days in the field, some days at home. I’m never out of the house for more than 8 hours for work. That said, I can be pretty flexible to accommodate your schedule. If I am unable to meet the needs requested I will be sure to give as much notice as possible. In a clients home, I like to keep things tidy and work within the boundaries discussed with the client. Cleanliness is important to me and I appreciate staying in homes that are kept in generally good condition. I try to mirror the animal's usual routine in a home and prioritize everyone’s comfortability.

About: Hi, I’m Ray! I’m based near Hudson and a proud lifelong animal lover. I grew up right here in the area—actually, I spent my early years on a farm surrounded by all kinds of animals. Our home was always full of dogs and cats, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. These days, it’s just me and my pup Biscuit, but my love for animals hasn’t changed a bit. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. I’m flexible with scheduling and happy to work with you to meet your animals needs. If you have any questions or want to know more, feel free to send me a message—I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I work over at a cafe part time in Hudson! My schedule is flexible:) I couldn’t be present at all times of the day though. I have an apartment with a yard. Your animal could stay over or I can house sit if that’s easier. I have many references off this app
