About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds, not just dogs and cats. I currently care for my own dogs and I’ve spent years around animals with different personalities, needs, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with puppies who need patience and consistency, as well as senior pets who require a gentler pace, medication, or extra attention. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, so I take the time to learn their routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away. You’ll also receive regular photo and text updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring, dependable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for a variety of my own animals, including my own dogs, horses, goats, and chickens. I work full-time Monday through Saturday, with Wednesdays off. I have a one-hour lunch break that allows me to stop in for potty breaks, walks, feedings, or check-ins during the day. Before and after work, I have plenty of time to provide attentive care, exercise, and companionship. Whether your pet needs a quick visit, overnight care, or a little extra attention while you’re away, I’m committed to treating them like my own. At this time, I provide care exclusively in my client’s homes, where pets are often the most comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of love and attention. I also make sure your home is left just as I found it and will gladly provide photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. As a lifelong animal owner with experience caring for dogs, horses, goats, chickens, and other animals, I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities. My goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible while you’re away, treating them with the same care and attention I give my own animals.

About: I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight house sitting for cats or dogs, and I’m happy to provide daily exercise, playtime, feeding, and medication support as needed. I grew up with mid-size dogs and frequently watched smaller dogs for family friends in Pittsburgh. After moving upstate, I became a devoted cat dad to my black cat, Lola, for four years. I currently work remotely as a freelancer, which gives me the flexibility to drop in or house-sit for quality time with your pets during the day. I’m also available for house sitting and overnights provided there's stable wifi. I am a trustworthy house sitter/ walker who priotizes clear communication on expectations and house standards. I do not offer pet care from my own home.

About: I have been around animals all my life. Born in the country, cows and horses are most common, but I’ve come to love having dogs, cats, and reptiles of my own! There has never been an animal I couldn’t warm up to, and I love getting to know every pets unique personality. I DO OWN PETS, I just am not offering boarding services or requesting sitting services so I would prefer not to share their details! I am always willing to move around my schedule to better fit my clients needs! I have a ride I depend on for now while I’m learning to drive, so I cannot be out too late unless I’m staying the night. I prefer to pet sit or walk pets at other homes, not my own, as I have a reactive dog with history of abuse, and she is not amicable with other pets.

About: Hi! My name is Andrea. I have lived in the Hudson Valley for almost 4 years now, and have been working in the area off and on since 2014. I live with my partner, Mike, and precious pup Kona. I have always lived with dogs. And recently, have been thinking about getting a cat! I am an Occupational Therapist in a school district full time and love to farm and bicycle during my off time. I’ve done house sitting and dog sitting previously and enjoyed the work. I have my own vehicle and am used to commuting around the Hudson Valley for work and for fun. I wanted to get back into dog sitting and pet sitting to assist in getting a new car and to get to spend time with pets! I have always been obsessed with dogs! I show that through meeting as many as I can when out in the community :). I am active person, so long walks and playing is something I can provide. I am open to any requests you might have and am great at keeping in touch with pet parents. I can always be available through text, call, or email. I’m so excited to meet you and your lovely pets!! I have a full time job, so weekends are my only availability. However, I am open to discuss any special circumstances! I might potentially be more available on a long weekend, when I am off from my school based job. I would want to care for your pets as you would or how you would want. I am great with a schedule and specific requests.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was five years old and continued to get more dogs. I have dog sat for multiple friends and family rating from dogs and cats. As far as training animals, I did grow up with having to train them so I do have some experience. I am currently working part time and go to community college but will be able to manage and work out a schedule that will be accommodating. I have 3 dogs that have invisible fences outside so they can roam free without getting lost, going to the road, running off. I have a big yard surrounding my house so they are used to running around freely. When it gets too cold they come in to the house or garage with my father. I am used to walking dogs as they do get walked on occasion at home or if we have them out of the house. I do not off offer services that welcome pets into my house but I am accommodating as necessary and will offer services at your residency.

About: I’m a pre-vet major with a love for all animals, especially dogs! I’m 19 years old, a full time student, and have 5 years of dogsitting and dog walking experience! I have a soft spot for older dogs, as well as experience caring for young litters of pups! I walk some of my clients’ dogs in their own backyard trails, and a few I transport to local parks for our walks. I love all of my clients dogs like they’re my own, and take special care to encourage their interests, and adapt our time together to fit their personality and needs! I have 6 repeat clients that I’ve met through rover, and treasure the time that I spend with their pets. The reoccurring clients I’ve had for 8 months have become a staple in my life, and a regular in my routine. It’s so special to be the part of the week that a dog looks forward to!! Booking a few weeks in advance is a good way to ensure I’m able to work around YOUR schedule! I take pride in caring for your pets like they are my own! As a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of not only respecting your dog’s boundaries, but also the rules you have for your dog!
