Along with having experience with dogs and cats I have experience with horses and cows and being on a ranch. I currently work for a mobile horse vet. I go to college but besides that I am home pretty much all the time and can fit your pet into my day very easily I have a fenced in yard, along with a big house. “Samantha was such a great cat sitter! She was friendly and experienced and clearly took very good care of our cat. She communicated great and sent awesome pictures. Can’t wait to use her services again!!!”

About: I have years of experience between animals, livestock, babies, and senior care. I breed Australian shepherds and Japanese Akitas, and currently own chickens. I do own my own house and with a decent size fenced backyard. I’m available all day of the week. If I have to step out, I have cameras all over my house and around my house. I have a fenced yard, cameras all over the outside of my house and in the inside as well. There is always someone at my house.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life. Ever since I was a little kid animals were a part of life. I have experience in all forms of animal care. Giving medication, training, mental stimulation, and anything else needed! I am great with all doggies and kitties. I enjoy all animals and making sure they are happy and healthy :). I am currently only a student. My schedule is pretty open because I recently left the military. This fits into my schedule well because of how flexible it is. I have a large fenced in yard with many toys. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own who enjoy company. The dogs get lots of pets, outside time, and fed on a scheduled basis.
“Robyn was great. We got stranded by weather circumstances and she continued to visit our pets until we could get home two days later. Competent and efficient and the kitties were happy and purring upon our return”

About: Whether your dog needs play time or a quiet environment, they will love hanging out with me and my 4 legged companion. When I'm not working, my dog and I go on some pretty cool adventures together and he loves it when I dog sit a dog at his speed. Your dog will not be cooped up in a kennel unless you make this request. When they are not playing, your pet will be kept indoors. I have over 10 years of working with bully breeds and hybrids. High energy breeds is my field of expertise. My home is minutes from the beautiful San Antonio River and we visit there often. Some of our favorite hangouts are, the Pearl Brewery, San Antonio Riverwalk, Alamo Quarry, Calaveras Lake and many nature trails in our area. I will spoil your Best Friend as I do my own. Proceeds from my Pet sits will benefit my non profit that provides emergency groceries for Homebound Seniors. About this sitter: I totally get it! Let me visit your pets in the comfort of their own home. I'm use to traveling and frequent the major cities of TX every month. I am very familiar with the city of S.A. and surrounding. Your dog will receive a walk twice a day if you would like him or her to. I have trained and worked with all breeds and sizes so no dog is too big or high energy for me! Why I love dog sitting My Grandfather raised German Shepherds and my Father loved Large Breeds. Growing up, I remember always having dogs. In 2000 I started a group called Mutt Rescue & Adoption to help save dogs that are pending euthanasia at the city Pound. Our group rescued and transported animals nationwide. We saved thousands of dogs from euthanasia! My experience administering medication I can administer medication by oral or injection. I can take your do on early morning walks/runs or late runs, temperature and weather permitting. I am an avid runner so high energy breeds work great with my lifestyle! I try to stick to the dog's current schedule. If it's a puppy, then I help with the toilet training process. I do have 2 cats in my home, but they can be separated to another bedroom if your dog does not co exist well with cats.

About: I’ve cared for dogs in every stage of life, from a 6-year-old rescue to puppies I raised and trained myself. My dogs are housebroken and crate trained, and I’m comfortable reinforcing structure and routines. I’ve also provided overnight care for large dogs with specific medication needs and frequent walk schedules, so I understand the importance of consistency and attention to detail. I’m patient, calm, and respectful of each dog’s personality. My goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m flexible and able to plan my day around scheduled walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I’m organized and punctual, so I make sure pets are fed, walked, and cared for on time, especially when they’re used to a consistent routine. Since I provide care in my client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, crate use, and household rules. For walks and drop-ins, I prioritize leash safety, secure doors and gates, and make sure pets have fresh water and a calm environment before I leave. During overnight stays, I maintain their normal routine to reduce stress and keep them feeling safe while their owner is away.
“Stacey was excellent in every aspect during her drop in visits with our three dogs and cats. She kept a very close eye on a skin irritation that had developed on one our dogs and she updated us with pics daily. She was truly concerned with the health of our pets. We could not recommend her more. She is fantastic.”

About: I’ve had and cared for animals my entire life. I’ve also worked at pet stores and humane societies. There is no better way to spend your time than being surrounded by animals. I care for animals because being a portable pooper scooper and a human chew toy aren’t considered real jobs. Let me know what your needs are and we’ll work together to make sure that your babies are taken care of when you can’t be home with them. I will always show the utmost respect to your pet and your home. This includes cleaning up after myself and your pet during our time together, removing my shoes before entering your home if you would like, and anything else that will make you comfortable with the arrangement.
About: I can care for all animals, Ive grown up with animals my whole life and I am able to help with exercising your pets or just help out with giving your pet the attention they need to be healthy and happy. I am a very open person so you can definitely ask me any questions before hand if needed. I am a very active person, I have two days off and I’m pretty consistent with managing my time. In these two days I’m pretty much free and really use it to rest and hang out with my animals. I do my best to stay on top of their hygiene. I make sure to give them the right amount of exercise and attention they need to give them a happy and healthy life. I am very observant and do my best to make sure my animals are cared for.
“This is the 3rd time we have used Tim to watch our pups & it was our biggest challenge! THIS time we left 5 in his care that varied from 9lbs-80lbs & 2yrs old-13yrs old. Two of our fur babies have never been taken care of by anyone other than a close family member & normally always travel with us but circumstances did not allow this trip. In the past, we would have adjusted our travel plans & someone would have had to stay home but because of our past experience with Tim & our trust in him, we all were able to enjoy a family trip together. I am forever grateful to him! HE IS AMAZING!!!!”

As of June 2026, there are 11 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Stockdale. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
