About: I’m a US Marine veteran who brings reliability, structure, and genuine care to every animal I work with. With 8+ years of hands-on experience caring for pets and farm animals, I understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet is high-energy and loves long walks or needs a calm and patient approach, I adapt to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I take pride in being dependable, communicative, and attentive to detail. Your pet’s safety and well-being will always come first. I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I’m comfortable handling active dogs, maintaining routines, and providing structured care while still giving plenty of affection and attention. When your pet is with me, they won’t just be “watched.” They’ll be exercised, cared for, and treated like family. I know how important trust is when leaving your animals with someone else, and I work hard to give owners peace of mind through consistency, updates, and quality care. If you’re looking for someone disciplined, trustworthy, active, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d be honored to care for your pets.

About: I’ve always loved animals and enjoy caring for other people’s furry family members. Over my lifetime, I’ve had five dogs of all sizes and breeds, along with a many cats. In the years since, I’ve dog-sat and pet-sat many different breeds and truly love taking care of animals. You can trust me with your pets—I will treat them like my own. I’m excited to meet more dogs (and their wonderful owners) I am currently working full time at a church with a flexible schedule. While I do work Monday- Thursday during the day, there is always room in my schedule for pet routines. My mornings and evenings are open to be taken over by cute animals! My goal is to care for your pets as well as you would. That they would feel comfortable, mentally and physically stimulated, and at home no matter where we are.

About: I've been taking care of various specifies of animals throughout my life from energetic dogs and skittish cats, to pampered rodents, and fascinating arthopods. I am looking for other work positions aswell at the moment and will update my schedule when that happens but I'm basically free whenever as long as I have a heads up ahead of time I have a smallish-medium completely fenced yard with a doggy door, four super chill cats and two 9 month old puppies at my house. One of the puppies is a little loud and skittish but completely harmless and will usually stay completely separate if he can't chill out (he literally just screams but isn't aggressive). I can stay overnights at the owners home and will provide my own food for myself, I do not require a guess room and can sleep on the couch just fine.
About: I have years of experience with rescue dogs in various states of health. All of my dogs have been rescues from a senior who just needed a home for her last months (which turned into two wonderful years) to puppies born in a shelter and everything in between. I love the puppy cuddles but have a firm guiding personality which dogs seem to respect. I have my own two dogs - a senior I rescued at 3 month old who has been all over the country and even to Guam with me and a new rescue puppy. We do walk on the morning, in the afternoon, and the evening plus they have full access to the backyard anytime they need it through the dog door. My 5 year old loves playing with the dogs throughout the day as well. I stay at home with my children so the dogs always have someone with them unless I need to run a quick errand. I have a fenced yard and two well behaved (the puppy is learning) friendly puppies. My dogs are kennel trained and my senior dog prefers laying in hers unless treats are being handed out. The puppy gallops around like the kids and enjoys fetch. I would treat your dogs like my own with any special requests honored.
“Robyn was great. We got stranded by weather circumstances and she continued to visit our pets until we could get home two days later. Competent and efficient and the kitties were happy and purring upon our return”

“Hayley did a great job with the drop-in visits for our two pups. She sends great pics of them enjoying some outside time and scratches. She's was flexible with their schedule and great with our specific instructions. Would recommend and will use Hayley again.”

“Danielle took wonderful care of Hunter while I was away on vacation. She made sure he was safe, well-fed, and showed him genuine love and affection. I felt completely at ease knowing Hunter was in such caring hands. I’d highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

About: I've raised and trained my own puppy, so I understand the patience, consistency, and love it takes to care for dogs of all ages. I’m experienced with basic training, potty routines, and leash manners. I’m also comfortable giving medications and caring for sick or recovering pups. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or calm companionship, I treat every dog like family. Starting this fall, I’ll have school in the mornings during the week, but I’m available in the afternoons for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I’m also free on weekends and happy to make your pet a regular part of my routine! Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow your instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure pets feel secure and loved. I’m careful on walks, use leashes at all times, and never leave pets unsupervised. You can trust me to treat your pet like family and your home with respect.

I do own my own house and with a decent size fenced backyard. I’m available all day of the week. If I have to step out, I have cameras all over my house and around my house. About: Hello! I’ve had to take care of over 15+ dogs in the past 10 years. From giving birth all the way to the end of their story. I have a lot of experience from large to small and have had my best friend Jax the labradoodle for a good 10 years, I taught Jax and had him potty trained in 3 months as well as teaching him tricks like sit, shake, roll over, and speak. I am very compassionate because I always remember a quote that says “He/she might only be here for a part of your life, but for him you are his whole life.” Which warms my heart because it is so true. With that being said, I always strive to make sure that every decision I make is for the benefit of your furry friend!!! Pet care naturally fits into my routine because I’ve always loved being around animals. I make time each day for walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I’m happy to work pet care into my schedule and treat every pet like they’re my own! I care for every pet like they’re my own—with lots of patience, attention, and love. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, whether that means walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or just keeping them company. I also make sure your home is left just as I found it!
About: Feel free to ask me about pricing! After being diagnosed with a chronic illness, I turned pet sitting into my full time passion. Working from home gives me the flexibility to care for your babies any time and anywhere. With over nine years of experience, I have been a dedicated caretaker for animals of all sizes. My services include walking, bathing, feeding, sitting, and boarding pets. I have a lot of experience with elderly, reactive, and ill pets. When house-sitting, I ensure your pets are well-cared for with regular walks, feeding, watering, and bathing as needed, along with additional household tasks like watering plants. During drop-in visits, I provide feeding, watering, and playtime for at least 30 minutes, extending the time if your pets need extra attention and care. I particularly enjoy daily dog walks, whether it's through a local park or a favorite trail specified by the owner. Every service comes with plenty of photos and updates, keeping you connected with your beloved pets. What sets me apart is the genuine connection I develop with each animal. I truly assess and respond to their needs and emotions, going beyond the basic requirements because I genuinely care. For your convenience, I offer same-day booking and cancellation to accommodate your schedule. If you have any questions, please feel free to email, call, or text me at any time. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! If I am booked for your pet, they are my main priority. My routine revolves around them as if they were my own. The more time I get to spend with furry friends the better! Each pet is different and require different levels of attention. I am happy to fill in for the owner in any way that is needed. Sometimes that looks like standing outside with the pet during potty time. Sometimes that looks like ensuring nothing in left out on the ground or counters. I also do not take any pet to a place that is unsafe or that I or the owner are unfamiliar with. Safety first!

About: Animals are such a joy, and I am thankful for the opportunity to meet your furry babies! I am currently located in Seguin, and originally a Texas native. Growing up, I always had a dog, and more recently I have gotten experience with cats! I am a proud mom of my 6-year-old female husky named Stella! She is the sweetest girl and a major lover of new puppies! I also am the mom to a 6-year old female GSP named Maya. She loves to run and chase squirrels all day! I am a huge advocate of living an active lifestyle and enjoying the outdoors! I would ensure that your pet gets their daily activity while also exploring nature. I would take care of your pet as if they were my own! I currently work a full-time job so the best times for me would be in the afternoons or on the weekends. I do on occasion have availability during the day during weekdays. My spouse works from home so if there any special circumstances during the day care is available. I currently live in a home with a large fenced in yard. Stella and Maya would be able to keep your babies company! We do have crates available if needed.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 1,231 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Sweet Home. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sweet Home. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
