“Molly actually belongs to my 85 year old friend who doesn’t do computers or cell phones but still wanted to express her gratitude. This is Molly’s second stay with Kristen and her family and they have been amazing to her. Her first visit was for a week when Kristen was out of town but Kristen’s step dad willingly kept her anyways. Molly is never far from my friend’s side and hadn’t had a lot of experience with other dogs so we were anxious to leave her. Within an hour of drooping her off he’d already sent us a picture. He babied her the whole week and documented her stay with texts and beautiful picture updates. My friend is a hard person to please and after she brought Molly home she told me that she thought Molly was a little lonely for her sitter and their dogs. :0) We booked this stay on the same day we dropped Molly off. My friend got sick and needed to go to the hospital but she would not go until I contacted Kristen in regards to Molly. So we contacted Kristen at 7pm and again they willingly accepted her even though Kristen told me they already had a full house. She also didn’t mind that we would book from day to day since we didn’t know how long my friend would be in the hospital. We are so grateful to Kristen and her family. They are wonderful pet people!”

About: I have years of experience with rescue dogs in various states of health. All of my dogs have been rescues from a senior who just needed a home for her last months (which turned into two wonderful years) to puppies born in a shelter and everything in between. I love the puppy cuddles but have a firm guiding personality which dogs seem to respect. I have my own two dogs - a senior I rescued at 3 month old who has been all over the country and even to Guam with me and a new rescue puppy. We do walk on the morning, in the afternoon, and the evening plus they have full access to the backyard anytime they need it through the dog door. My 5 year old loves playing with the dogs throughout the day as well. I stay at home with my children so the dogs always have someone with them unless I need to run a quick errand. I have a fenced yard and two well behaved (the puppy is learning) friendly puppies. My dogs are kennel trained and my senior dog prefers laying in hers unless treats are being handed out. The puppy gallops around like the kids and enjoys fetch. I would treat your dogs like my own with any special requests honored.

I have a lot of experience from large to small and have had my best friend Jax the labradoodle for a good 10 years, I taught Jax and had him potty trained in 3 months as well as teaching him tricks like sit, shake, roll over, and speak. I started as a dog daycare attendant for a year where I learned how to read dog body language and behavior as well as how to handle emergency situations with dogs. I then became a full time pet sitter on my own and would watch all kinds of animals from household reptiles, small animals, cat, and of course dogs! After 1 year of this I switched to part time sitter to become a full time dog trainer! I trained for a year before becoming a manager at a pet hotel. About: I have been an ongoing volunteer at the Animal Defense League of San Antonio since I was about 9 y/o, taking the dogs on walks and socializing the cats and kittens. I have thorough knowledge and experience with raising and fostering kittens, as well as dogs just under 1y/o. I perfer to start my work day around afternoon to late afternoon, though morning time isn't a deal-breaker. I want your pet to experience the least amount of stress possible (especially during the first couple visits), so I try to stick to their daily routine as much as I can. For walks, I am quite comfortable walking bigger dogs that may come across as a lot to handle, despite being of a smaller stature. I have experience with training arduous or physically demanding dogs to walk beautifully on the leash also. As for drop-in visits and sitting, I will always stick to the schedule you provide and the safety and well-being of your pet will always be my top priority.

I also pet sit for my uncle’s small dog, Halsey, and previously cared for my sister’s cat for several months. I’m comfortable managing multiple pets at once and always make sure each one gets the attention they deserve. At home, I have an 8-year-old Shih Tzu who definitely runs the house — and I happily spoil her! I’m very patient with senior pets and those who may have accidents or need extra cleanup. While I don’t offer full grooming, I’m always happy to give baths in the comfort of your pet’s home when needed. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I treat every animal like family and provide lots of love, updates, and attentive care. :)) I currently work a part-time job only two days per week, so I have very open availability for pet care. My usual unavailable days are Sundays and Wednesdays. If my schedule ever changes, I always know at least a week in advance and will keep clients fully updated. I take my commitments seriously and do my best to avoid last-minute cancellations (Which has never happened!). Clear communication and reliability are very important to me, and I always respect my clients’ time and plans. Caring for pets in their own home is often the most comfortable and least stressful for them, and I always aim to keep their routine as normal as possible. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and personality, whether they’re very social or prefer to warm up at their own pace. I’m happy to provide plenty of affection, playtime, walks, or quiet cuddle time — whatever your pet enjoys most. I always follow your care instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Rover doesn't always give you an accurate number if there are multiple visits, mulitple animals, cats only, holidays, etc. I will adjust it! *I also do cat care: rates will depend on the number of cats, the number of days, and if there is a dog also. I will give each person a custom rate based on these. House sitting for cats only isn't an option, I will give you a custom cat visit rate (let's face it, they don't need me there all night!) : ) You can be assured you will always get a very reasonable rate. ABOUT ME: A have a lifetime of pet care experience. I grew up with cats and dogs and have had both as an adult (so that is a lot of pet years. 174 in dog years, I think). I am comfortable with all sizes, ages, special needs, med administration, etc. Kitty will get love too! If I am house sitting or doing drop in visits while you are away, I can also take care of trash/recycling day, plants, mail. Just ask! Part of the reason we moved was so I could rescue animals. So far, just in Texas, we have rescued 120 dogs, cats, cows, and goats. 30 of the dogs and cats have gone on to be adopted in the Pacific NW and are loving their new lives. 😍 I can accommodate preparing/feeding their special diets if you have them on one (raw food, homemade dog food, etc). I also have a farm sanctuary and we have rescued dogs, cats, cows, goats, hens, guinea pigs, and rabbits. My hours are flexible and animals are my whole life! At your home, I will spend time playing and/or walking on visits depending on client wishes when visiting their home for check-ins or dog walking. I am able to handle all size dogs and multiple dogs. About: I love dogs and have been around them for most of my life. I am a proud owner of a shiba inu(a true rascal) and I love him to death. Your dog will be in good hands with me. About: I have had dogs all my life. My junior year I was the main care taker of one of our family dogs. I now have a dog of my own and he is very happy and well loved!! I am currently not working, so I have plenty of time to care and love on your fur- baby. I take my dog on a walk every day and we love going to get pup cups and visit dog friendly stores! I do have a fenced in yard but it is small, so your dog would get most of their exercise on walks or going on car rides to get pup cups!

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for neighbors, I go several times a day and walk dogs while they are away on trips and spend and hour each visit Im currently in college full time, I go once before class, I go once after class, once in the afternoon and once at night. About: Hi there, my name’s Trinity! I’ve lived with pets my entire life, including cats, dogs, and the gerbils that I researched months for before presenting my findings to my parents (they caved). Before earning my BA in Psychology, I studied animal science at TTU for two years in hopes to become a veterinarian. While my career has changed drastically, I still love spending time with animals and frequently volunteer with local animal shelters. I currently work two part-time jobs, one during weekday afternoons and the other on weekend mornings. My pets get their meals and walks before I leave for work. I am no stranger to a commute as a recent UTSA grad and as someone who is constantly driving all over town for work/volunteer opportunities. In fact, it gives me more time to listen to music in the car! I have an acre of land with a fenced in backyard with plenty of open space for your favorite child to run around.
