About: Hi, I’m Melanie! I’ve cared for pets my whole life—including dogs, cats, and even farm animals—and worked at an animal sanctuary as a teen. I also ran my own pet sitting business before COVID. Now I offer drop-in visits and dog walking, so your pets stay comfy at home while you're away. Pet care is naturally woven into my weekly routine! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m mostly available for weekend drop-in visits and dog walking. I may also be available during weekday evenings for quick check-ins or walks—just send me a message and I’ll do my best to accommodate! Your home is your pet’s sanctuary—and I treat it with the same care and respect as I do your furry family. I prioritize safety and trust in every visit, following your pet’s routine closely, locking up securely, and keeping their environment clean, calm, and comforting. You can count on me to care for your pets and your space as if they were my own.

“Ashley was great with my two dogs! She was able to accommodate me in such a short notice and i appreciate the photos and the little extra time she took to spend with my two dogs!”

About: My family has owned dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been helping care for our pets since I could start scooping food out of the bag. I have been taking care of pets for family members as they go out of town for a few years now, and having just moved to a new town, I would like to share my pet care services with others. I love training pets, and I love learning new ways to care for pets that need special attention. When it comes to walking pets, there’s nothing I love more than to treat them after going potty and after every walk so they know they’ve done a great job! I currently have a part-time job in which I work morning so for drop-in visits and for over-night stays I can be there in the afternoons! And for walks, I can be there as soon as I leave work. I can even stop by before work depending on the time I go in. My schedule is a changing schedule, so I will be sure to communicate my shift schedule for the day(s) you're looking for! My pets at home are crate trained for the night-time as well as for when we’re away from home. Aside from being crate trained, they are trained to go outside and have potty and play time, and they are also leash trained. We have also trained them to not make any potty messes inside of the house so that they can continue to have play time when they are inside. Currently, my dog is available for play dates. I can adjust to anyone’s living and walking needs for their pets as I am aware not everyone goes through the same routine as my own, and I want to provide maximum comfort for all of your pets’ needs.

Julie S.
“I have known Julie for many years and know her love for animals directly. Over time, she has kept my dogs Rex and Rosie and I never once had any concerns about their care. Rosie had become diabetic and required injection of Vetsulin twice a day. Julie took care of Rosie and Rex for several weeks while my wife and I took a long trip and she made sure Rosie's medicine was given and her dietary needs met. Rosie is no longer with us, she died last March at age 14. But Rex is still active and I'll turn to Julie to care for him when the occasion arises.”

Zoe R.
“Zoe is an amazing pet owner! She's taken care of 3 dogs, 2 cats, a bunny all at the same time and makes it look easy! She's raised them for years and cares deeply about her pets like they're her own kids. Any pet would be happy to have Zoe take of them <3”

“Nadine has watched my dog Tank on several occasions. She has taken excellent care of him and his is always willing to go with her wherever she takes him. The fact that he is totally comfortable with her shows me that she has the ability to develop good rapport and trust with the animals in her care. I've also seen how she interacts with both her own dog and other dogs/cats and I am totally comfortable with her caring for Tank. He always comes back happy and in great shape.”
