“Meghan was awesome! We had to go to a wedding and we're unsure of whether or not we'd need to stay overnight. She was super flexible and was able to accommodate us for the extra day. My dogs LOVE her and took to her immediately- which says a lot, as my chihuahua is not the friendliest. Will definitely be using her services again. Highly recommend!”

“Mindy did a great job taking care of our pets! We came back to a clean house and happy & healthy animals! Mindy took care of a couple of pet messes while we were gone and everything was done exactly as we discussed before leaving. We would not hesitate to call Mindy again and would definitely recommend her to others!”

“Aletris was amazing! They were incredibly attentive and sweet with our kitty and went above and beyond our expectations. Aletris took the job very seriously and made sure nothing would get in their way of taking care of our fur baby, (even if that means resorting to biking to our house when their family needed their car)! We can’t express how happy we are to have found Aletris and I know our kitty felt the same way! Will definitely be hiring them again for future pet sitting needs!”

About: I am a certified Veterinary Assistant/Technician and have my Animal CPR certificate. I have worked in both general practice and emergency and are ready for all your animals needs. I am able to give insulin to diabetics and fluids to those with kidney disease. Over the years I have cared for all my family's and friends pets for weeks at a time. With every pet having the best experience and given the utmost care. I currently work part time at a restaurant a few nights a week and weekend nights. It is only for a few hours a day and I would never be later than 10pm. This leaves plenty of time to play, feed, and walk your pets! I can take them out into the yard for hours of play or I would be willing to take them to the dog park too! I am available early in the morning so if your pet is on any medication I can be there to give it to them. I am unable to offer boarding to my place of residence unless it was only for a day. I have a fenced in yard with a pool but cannot do overnight boarding. I am up early in the morning to feed breakfast to your pet and take them for their first walk/outside time. Depending on the energy level of your pet we can have a couple hours of play time. I would be there for lunch and dinner and one more walk before bedtime.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and am very comfortable around all types and ages of dogs! My own puppy was a senior so I’m willing and able to administer medicine, put on doggy diapers and whatever else your senior may need! I’m also very available lately so I’ll be able to walk your puppy as long as they want to! I can also stop in to visit or house your dog if you’re traveling! Let me know if there’s anything else you may need! I’m always happy to help. Home for the summer after graduating this May!! I start a new job in October so I am free for most of the summer besides a few trips I have planned. I am pretty flexible with pet care and want to make sure you can enjoy your summer too! I will do my best to make sure your pet is comfortable and feeling safe!! I have a roomy house with no other pets. I also have a big yard for your dog to explore!! When at your home, i will follow your dog’s lead and respect their boundaries!!

“Julie was the absolute the best! She went beyond and so much for our Crumpet. Kept in good contact the whole time and was there for us on short notice and on the holiday. Julie is the best! Will definitely use her service again, and recommend her to everyone!”

About: Hello! I’m Tara I’ve been taking care of pets since I was kid. I have 3 of my own. An active large dog and two sweet cats. I’m adaptive and really love animals. I work in the film industry and have insane hours. Rover has been a life saver for me. I understand the need for sitter and how important it is to have somebody treat your pets with the same love and care you do. I could help fill in for regular walkers or give full time care at the moment. My dog blue gets walked 5-10 times a week and on the weekends we plan fun hikes. I’m experienced with pet sitting in other homes or even taking pets overnight if you’re comfortable with that and if our animals get along. My dog has insane allergies and I’m used to administering medications. I follow directions very well and promise to give your pet the care they deserve. I’ll take your pup on adventures or even just come by to keep them company and let them out. My dog is always on a leash in public places. My care can vary to you and your pets specific needs! I’m here for all the funny quirks and specific personalities of any pet. I’m experienced with cats, dogs, bunnies, and even reptiles! Heck I’ll water you plants too lol. I’m here for it all and to be the support you need in any given day. I understand how hard it is to leave your pets while you work or go away. I will give your furry friends the time of their life because I’ll love them like my own!

About: I love animals and always have. I am not partial to only dogs or only cats, I love them equally but have the most experience with cats. I have had small dogs/cats/small animals since I was child. The pets in my life have always been very happy and healthy and lived well into their old age. I currently have a 10 year old cat, a 2 year old cat and 5 year old special needs cat. The vet is always surprised with how young my pets seem based on their health. I have past experience as a kennel tech at RBARI during college and comfortable with administering meds to kitties. I’ve also had kitty clients need insulin and administered that to them twice daily. My initial rate is higher as I offer a full hour visit the first time to ensure the pet is comfortable with me. After the first visit, if an hour is not needed, rates can be adjusted. *** Important Note about Availability*** July 1-5 I will be in bedside Brooklyn and only available in that region. Thank you! My work schedule varies from month to month. Please check my calendar for the most up-to-date schedule. I try to keep it as updated as possible. However, you are free to reach out and ask for dates that are booked as there may be changes that I didn’t get a chance to update. Thank you! I will treat your pets with the same love I would treat my own! I am only available in your home. I love being active and will be happy to go on lots of walks and play with your dog or cat regularly.

“Your pets are in good hands with Lisa! She did an amazing job taking care of my pets while we were on vacation, going above & beyond by getting there on schedule despite many road closures and noticing my plants were in need of watering when the weather got unexpectedly hot. She also is an excellent communicator, giving you peace of mind that all is well while you're away.”

About: I have had animals my entire life, at the moment I have 4 cats and 1 dog. So I definitely have experience with pets! Although I am new to Rover, I have been watching friends and families pets for years. I am very good with all types of animals, bathing and grooming, and administering medication. Since I do have so many pets I am unable to board pets at a time. I am willing to house sit and watch your animal while you are away, by dropping in multiple times during the day. I also have a flexible schedule for feedings and walkings, so I will have plenty of opportunities to let your pet out during the day. I am a Teachers Aide, so I have summers off and have plenty of time to drop ins/walks. At this time I can not do overnight stays at your home because I have a young child. At this time I cannot board animals in my home, I have a small child and too many pets to introduce a new animal to the mix even for a short time. I am able to come to your home to watch your pet, keep them company, take them for walks and play with them outside.

About: Hi there! My name is Meredith. I have owned a variety of pups, my current dog is a pit/lab/boxer mix who's energy is rivaled by none. I love dogs and am not scared of a challenge. I have had both small dogs and cared for dog aggressive pups. If you want a regular sitter who knows how to handle crazy critters than I am your gal. (This is starting to sound salesmanish..) I love dogs and believe that the phrase, "variety is the spice of life" applies to our four legged friends as much as it applies to ourselves. By the end of our walk, your dog will have learned a new fact and memorized at least one new mathematical formula. (Just kidding.) Hope to hear from you and your pup soon!

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs at a time including big dog and small ones. Reliable dog sitter for friends and family members and can assure you that i’d be just as reliable for you and yours! I currently work, but am able to take care of your pups in the afternoon. I am also fully available on Fridays and weekends; Boarding welcomed as well. I have a fenced yard and a small dog of my own. I make sure that potty time and getting fed is always taken care of. Play time and cuddles always included of course!

Sabrina V.

“Sabrina is great! Very communicative and my dogs who are slow to warm up were fans of hers pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend her!”

Aletris C.

“Aletris was amazing! They were incredibly attentive and sweet with our kitty and went above and beyond our expectations. Aletris took the job very seriously and made sure nothing would get in their way of taking care of our fur baby, (even if that means resorting to biking to our house when their family needed their car)! Tyler L.

“Tyler was wonderful with our dog Chase, would definitely use Tyler again.”

Kayla S.
“Kayla is a loving pet owner herself. She will care for your pets just as her own. Dogs, cats, ferrets, doesn't matter. Along with her vet tech experience, your animals will be cared for with her utmost attention.”

Teresa L.
“I have watched Teresa care for her family dog, who lived to be 16 years old. She has always been patient and attentive to the pets in her care. She has also been the primary caregiver to our 14 year old cat. I recommend her for pet care because of her maturity, reliability and compassion for animals.”

Kendra S.

“Kind and considerate sitter. Great experience. Thank you”

Julia R.Star Sitter

“Julie was the absolute the best! She went beyond and so much for our Crumpet. Kept in good contact the whole time and was there for us on short notice and on the holiday. Julie is the best! Will definitely use her service again, and recommend her to everyone!”

Maddy A.

“In a last minute pickle, Maddy was quick to respond and did great with our dog.”

stevie j.
“Stevie, went above the call of normal, because when we were leaving, we were in a hurry, and we gave a lot of instructions and still Stevie was able to take care of the dog’s exact needs; made sure they were walked and mentally stimulated. We couldn’t have asked for more.”

Tara L.
“Tara has raised the most precious, well-behaved dog I have ever been around in my life. Her attention to detail for her own dog's needs and love for dogs in general is incomparable and anyone would be lucky enough to have her help. If she has long days she'll always make a point to give her dog enough exercise even if it includes not giving herself enough time to make dinner. Being an avid hiker as well always makes her pup happy as she has a lot of insight and access to many hiking trails and lakes. Hiring her to watch your dog will probably make her just as happy to spend time with your dog as it will make you happy in the level of care she will provide.”

Leigh L.
“Leigh has a keen understanding of how to identify and handle a dog's emotions, needs, and attitude. It is a talent she has acquired through years of dog ownership, dog caregiving, and volunteer work with pets. I have a dog with anxiety who sometimes is quick to bite if he feels threatened by a new person he has not yet had time to properly grow comfortable with. Leigh astounded me with how she managed my dog in a soothing way to keep him calm and happy when she watches him. I recommend Leigh for all dog breeds and temperaments.”

Lisa F.

“Your pets are in good hands with Lisa! She also is an excellent communicator, giving you peace of mind that all is well while you're away.”

Samantha R.

“Sam was wonderful and provided love and attention (and playtime) for my young cat while I was away on vacation. Highly recommend!”

Anthony & Ivian G.

“Anthony and Ivian are such a great Couple who showed My cat Zen some genuine affection. Zen”

Stephanie F.
“Stephanie is a very caring person. She is wonderful with animals. She has an understanding of the fear an animal can have of humans when meeting them for the first time and has a gentle way of making the animal feel less anxious. Point of reference...I have three dogs and five cats.”
