“Charlotte was a godsend for our shy cats. We’ve tried several sitters in the past and our younger cat, Ivy, would never get comfortable with them, to the point where we would leave and worry she wouldn’t eat. However Ivy had no problem warming up to Charlotte. I don't know if it’s a trained skill or if Ivy just picked up on good vibes but she definitely made a friend this weekend. Charlotte went above and beyond for us and our cats in a way that can’t be appreciated enough. She’ll be who we go to first when it comes to cat sitting in the future. Thank you Charlotte!!!”

“Lauren did a great job with our cat. She kept us updated daily. He was happy when we arrived home and the litter box was clean. This was a great first experience using Rover.”

“Leah and Zoe did an amazing job with our puppy Mimi during their drop-in visits! After our original sitter canceled last minute, they stepped in and accommodated our request without hesitation. They not only took great care of Mimi but also sent us a ton of photos and thoughtful summary of their time with her. We’re so grateful for their help and highly recommend them!”

About: I love pets and animals of all kinds. I rescued a water bird once that I found outside my car; I took it to an exotic animal vet - I also rescued a baby deer whose mother was hit by a car. I took him to AWARE in Lithonia where he was nursed to health and released! One of my babies is a rescue and I firmly support rescue groups. I do not have any children, so my two dogs are my babies and they are spoiled beyond belief! However, I have taught them basic obedience and I can do the same for your babies! I would not work for people who tie their animals outside all day and night, do not provide proper nutrition or vet care, and who don't love their babies like they deserve to be loved. Fully retired - my schedule is wide open! I am very flexible with days and hours for walking and drop-ins. Please give me 24 hours notice for either service. I have a fully fenced backyard for my dogs. If you do not have a fenced yard, that is ok, because we can go on walkies in the neighborhood! Animal safety is my top priority, second priority is giving them lots of love.

“Very friendly. Showed up on time and gave the extra effort to care for my four energetic dogs and elderly diabetic cat. Communicated very well and responds quickly. Already have her scheduled again. Dogs and cat loved her!”

About: I've owned dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a true passion. What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities—from affectionate Golden Retrievers and gentle Great Pyrenees to spunky Dachshunds and high-energy Pit Bulls. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and take the time to understand each dog’s unique needs. I have experience with basic training, including leash skills and potty training for puppies, and I’m also confident caring for senior dogs, including administering medication and adjusting routines to keep them comfortable. I treat every dog like family and always prioritize their happiness, safety, and well-being. I work full-time, but I’m available for morning visits and anytime after 3 PM on weekdays. I also have flexibility on weekends for walks, check-ins, or extended care. Plus, I regularly get work-from-home days, which opens up my availability during the day for more flexible scheduling. I always make sure each pet gets the attention and time they deserve. I primarily care for pets in my clients' homes, which helps keep them comfortable and relaxed in a familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, from feeding and walks to playtime and cuddles, and I always make sure to keep their space clean and safe. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs, so they feel secure and loved while their owners are away. If a pet does come to my home for a visit, I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. My home is pet-friendly (I do have a golden retriever) and I treat every animal like part of the family—whether I'm visiting them or welcoming them into my space.

“I can't say enough about Brooke's wonderful care of my cat. She made going away much easier and with no worries about the Belle's care! I will definitely be asking for Brooke's help again!”

About: My whole life my family has had dogs. From the German Shepard-Dobermans we had when I was little to the Cavalier we had growing up. I work part time so I have plenty of free time, mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend to pet sit any dogs. I'm reliable and I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. And I will take care of them like my own dogs.

About: I have had pets since I was 6 years old. My childhood dog was a small rescue (dachshund mixed with jack russell) and I had her since she was a puppy. Now, I currently have a sweet old bunny and a golden doodle! I also fostered cats and aided in their adoption. I offer pet care for neighbors but want to branch out to other people. I have trained all of my pets and have a connection and love for all animals. I might even draw a picture of your pets while taking care of them! I have an entire summer to dedicate to working. So, if you need pet care, I am available and happy to assist!! I am willing to help in any way possible. I will follow any directions I am given and will attended to the pets at the owners discretion. Whatever is needed in the clients home, I will do to the best of my ability.

About: I've had dogs and cats as pets ever since I was a little kid and have always enjoyed taking care of them. I have a genuine love for all animals and would love nothing more than to care for yours. I started officially pet sitting about seven years ago and have enjoyed every second of it. I just moved to the Athens area and am currently on the job hunt! I have all the time in the world on my hands to help care for your pets! Your pet’s safety and comfortability is top priority for me, along with your own. Watching their movements and ensuring they are at ease is something I have a lot of experience in. I want them to have the best time they can have and I want you to know your pets are in good hands every time I watch them!

I live 100 yards away from a large dog park to run and play I have an extremely flexible schedule and can let the dogs out often to play. We also provide lots of potty break, live less than 100 yards from a dog park, and plenty of toys and more! I will treat your dogs like my own. As a dog mom of three I understand the work and fun dogs can be. I will be sure to keep you in the loop as often as possible

“I have many great things to say, but most importantly: Abby is a life saver! I was going on a long 10 days trip for work, my initial sitter had a personal problem and literally bailed on me. After waiting for over 24 hours for the other sitter to show up I decided to take action and find someone else, that’s how I came across Abby. I can say that this was the best thing that happened to my cats, after contacting her for the first time and explaining my emergency it took her 20 minutes to run to my house and give them the care they needed. Abby is really professional, dependable, easy to communicate and super sweet to my kitties. She is the person I want taking care of my cats going forward, I can go on my work travels with my mind at ease knowing they will be in the best hands. Highly recommend!”

“Caitlin has watched our elderly cat twice while out of town. She is always reliable and I know our boy is is good hands. She spends time with him and makes sure he is well cared for. We will definitely use her services again.”

“Abi took good care of my cats while I was away for 10 days, she sent me written updates and pictures daily, she took them out on the porch for some outdoor time, I will definitely use Abi in the future when I need a sitter.”

She learned how to be a good dog walker with these big dogs. Later our family grew to include Libby, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. From the time she was eight Claire was a central figure in Libby's life - walking her, making sure she was well taken care of and well loved. Claire is responsible, has a strong work ethic, a good bit of flexibility, and a heart for dogs.”
