“Madeline is amazing! We have hectic work schedules that change at the drop of a dime, and Madeline has been so accommodating with helping pick up our slack at home with the dogs. She responds so quickly to messages, is extremely flexible, and great with our pets. We love that she takes such great care of them and is happy to help! We rebook with her almost weekly because of how phenomenal she is!”

Mallori D.
“I am writing to highly recommend my daughter, Mallori Dominick as a pet sitter/walker. She has been taking care of our family pets and neighbor pets for at least 12 years and has consistently demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, care, and compassion for animals. She has a deep love for all animals (especially Blaze, our 11 yr old Boxer ) and a natural ability to connect with them . In addition to her love for animals, Mallori is trustworthy and reliable. She takes her commitments seriously and has always been punctual and thorough with instructions . I have complete confidence in her ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for any family . I believe Mallori would be a valuable asset to any pet owner looking for someone to care for their animals. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or need additional information. Sincerely, Vicki”

Emily E.
“Emily has been surrounded by cats and dogs most all of her life. She has always been involved in the care of any animals the family had. There are specific instances when she took on extra responsibility for some of the pets we had. In the summer before her senior year of high school we got Eli, an Australian Shepherd puppy. Since school was out Emily was home during the day and took on the job of all the care a puppy like Eli required. She did an amazing job. At the time we got Eli we had a Dalmatian named Biscuit and an Australian Shepherd named Sammie. Since my husband and I worked full time Emily was in charge of the dogs care a lot of the time and did an amazing job. She fed, walked and bathed them. We were so confident in Emily’s care of the dogs, my husband I traveled quite often leaving the three dogs with her for several days at a time. She got her own cat five years ago with the understanding that she was completely responsible for the cat. She has completely lived up to that commitment taking excellent care of her cat as if it were her child. Emily has also taken care of friends and neighbors pets. Sometimes in their homes and sometimes in ours. We believe pets are family members and should be treated as such. We also believe pets wether ours or others should be cared for responsibly. This is a belief Emily very much takes to heart. We are very proud of Emily.”

About: I know when dogs need to go out for the bathroom because of there signals. When a puppy wants to play I will play with them. I know scoop a litter box and give cats space when they need space. I love being with and around animals. I am currently working a part-time job and I want to put my love for animals into my free time. By working for Rover my love for animals is a dream come true. I have a cat and two other dogs. My cat doesn’t mind new dogs and the two other dogs don’t care either. I live out in the country so my yard is not fenced in but we do hook our dogs on a chain if they need to go out so that way they won’t run away. In general our house environment is friendly and welcoming.

About: Growing up, my mom was a vet so I was always surrounded by animals. The fewest amount of pets we ever had was 4, and I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. I have taken care of pets as young as 8 weeks old (a puppy learning to be house trained) and as old as 12 (an excitable elderly dog who enjoyed his long slow walks through the neighborhood). I know that, when you are away, it is important that your pets get quality time with their sitter, so I will always spend extra time with the animals after I have fed them, walked them, scooped their litter, etc. to make sure that they get the love they need. I have a good understanding of stress and anxiety in pets and am perfectly happy to sit with pets until they feel safe with me in their home. I also feel comfortable giving medication and taking care of senior pets and puppies. I love being around animals and I want to make sure that your animals are cared for the way that I always hoped my family pets were cared for when my family was away! :) I have a fairly flexible job that allows me to leave when needed to let pets out, give medication, spend time with them, etc. I am busiest in the afternoons around 3pm, but I am good with my time management and will always work to make sure that I can go before or after my 3pm time slot. It will be best for me to take care of the pets in the client's home, as I currently live in an apartment with a roommate. I can drive over to the home as needed to let pets out, take them for a walk, give them medication, or simply play with them. I want to make sure that your pets get as normal an experience as possible while you are gone, so I will always plan to spend extra time playing with them or walking them. I feel comfortable staying in people's homes as needed to petsit.

About: I work at a local animal rescue/clinic. I’ve taken care of all types of animals throughout the years and I always ensure to follow any and all specifications that are in place for each. I have a senior dog, she is eleven years old and has medications and supplements, administering medicines would not be a problem. I care for my senior dog and my cats, they get fed twice a day. My senior dog gets a daily joint/hip supplement in the mornings. I work at the clinic Sunday through Wednesday but would still be available for evening walks, check-ins, or at home boarding. My schedule allows for lots of visits to the park, we also have a fenced in backyard. I care for our pets by ensuring they are always up to date on vaccines and preventatives, have the best diets that suit their needs, most comfortable sleeping areas including three separate dog beds for my senior dog to choose from, lots of toys, a cat tower for our cats as well as a bed upstairs, although they typically sleep at the foot of our bed. Pet fur is just a natural part of our household so they can have free roam or if needed can sleep in a crate, I have one xtra large crate at my home currently and would have plenty of room for additional if needed. I am also available for dog grooming which includes a bath, nail trim, and ear cleaning. I am available for check-ins and able to administer medications if needed as well. We’re all about some doggy walks in the park and love to get outdoors as much as possible provided the weather is nice.

“Monika is a fantastic caregiver of pets. She has taken care of our 14 yr old cat, our 9 yr old dog and I think you would be very happy with her thorough and kind attention toward your pet. We've left our pets for two weeks in Monika's care and she's done beautifully.”

About: I’ve learned everything I know about animals through hands on experience either through volunteering, fostering, watching neighbors or family pet. My step mom, a vet-tech and now medical director for a humane society, has taught me everything I need to know since I was 12. I have an extensive knowledge of animals and emergency care as well as daily care. I am in the military part-time so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have a dog of my own so I keep plenty of time open to make sure he is taken care of. I have a super friendly one year old golden retriever mix puppy who loves ALL dogs but can be put up if needed. He is super submissive and can sense if another dog doesn’t care for him and will leave them alone.
