I 've used Chrystal for daily drop ins and a drop by walk. She is great and I am glad I found her for my senior dog. Dottie took right to her and even one of my cats visited with her while she was there. I will certainly use her again. I appreciate all the pictures from the visits!

Wonderful and a dog lover. My dog absolutely loves Caroline and she takes good care of her. Would definitely be the person I call in the future when I leave town. Thanks so much!

Rachel has truly been the best to my pup. She came to visit/walk my dog almost daily for the past few weeks and she has been reliable, responsive, attentive, and kind. Every visit, she left me with lots of cute photos and a detailed update about my pup and their time together. My pup always seemed nothing short of happy, comfortable, and at complete ease. Rachel is a kind hearted and thoughtful sitter who truly treats your dog like her own. She even purchased my golden doodle some of her favorite treats when we ran out at home and made sure to ask for my permission before doing so! The only reason I have parted ways with Rachel is because I have moved out of town, and leaving her was the saddest part about moving! I wish I could continue service and proceed with the same peace of mind Rachel gave me. Like many pet parents, I have a lot of anxiety about others caring for my pup, but I never felt an ounce of that with Rachel. I always had the upmost confidence that my pup was in great hands. I highly recommend her to all!

About: I have taken care of animals for 22 years, and I absolutely love it. In fact, my whole life I wanted to be a Vet Tech. I love animals, and have a special connection with each of them. I am currently not working full time, as I just had a baby 6 months ago, so I am able to invest my time and energy with my children and with animals. I will be warm and welcoming to all animals, treating them like my own. I enjoy spoiling fur babies and treat them like real children. I will make sure the animals are safe, fed, comfortable, loved, and anything else that they may need! I have a two story condo, with a back patio, small grass area to walk animals, and cozy spaces for fur babies! I would also be willing to go to the dog park or Mill Creek park with the pets.

About: With over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience, I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities—from tiny toy breeds to large working dogs. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I provide patient, loving, and personalized care for each one. I'm comfortable administering oral medications, reinforcing basic training and good manners for puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs who may need extra patience and support. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to treat every pet like family, giving you peace of mind knowing they're in experienced, compassionate hands. I have open availability and work from home, so your pet will rarely be left alone. My flexible schedule allows me to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a large, fenced backyard for safe outdoor fun and can provide potty breaks every 2 hours—or more frequently if needed for puppies or senior dogs. Here's a warm, professional response that's well suited for a Rover profile: Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I provide plenty of love, attention, exercise, and playtime while making sure they always have fresh water, meals on schedule, and a safe, comfortable environment. In my home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play, including access to a large, fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time. Since I work from home, they're rarely left alone and receive frequent potty breaks, companionship, and lots of affection throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any training routines. I also make sure your home is respected and secure while keeping you updated with photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember and have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs. I have a beagle back home with my family, which has taught me how much pets mean to the people who love them. I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, dogs who need medication, and pets with all kinds of personalities and routines. Every pet is different, and I take the time to learn what makes them feel safe and comfortable! My goal is to give every pet the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own while you’re away. I’m currently a college student, which gives me a flexible schedule to spend quality time with the pets I care for. I make pet care a priority and always plan my day around the pets I’m watching so they get attention, exercise, and many potty breaks!I’ll also send updates and pictures so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well! I know leaving your pet with someone else can be stressful because they’re part of the family. I always do my best to stick to their normal routine, whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, medications, or just giving them extra cuddles. I want your pet to feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away, and I’ll care for them the same way I would want someone to care for my own. Their happiness and safety will always be my top priority.

About: I bring 15 years of hands-on pet care experience, giving me a deep understanding of different breeds, personalities, and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, active dogs, and senior pets who may need extra love, slow walks, or medication reminders. I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and understood, especially while their family is away. My goal is to keep routines consistent, provide lots of affection, and give you peace of mind with updates, photos, and clear communication. I work from home and I’m also a stay-at-home mom, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. I’m home consistently, which means your pet gets lots of attention, playtime, and a steady routine — not just quick check-ins. Whether it’s regular walks, feeding on schedule, or extra cuddle time, I’m able to be present and attentive. Pets are part of our daily rhythm here, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and included in a calm, comfortable home environment. I truly treat every pet like family. Whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I focus on keeping their routine familiar and their environment comfortable. I offer plenty of affection, playtime, and patience, and I make sure their needs are met — from feeding and walks to quiet cuddle time. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and comfort level, so they feel safe, understood, and loved while you’re away. My goal is for them to feel at home, not stressed or out of place.

About: With two fur babies (Maggie and Roxy) of my own, I know how hard it can be to find dependable care. I have cared for Senior dogs, puppies, and all in between! A sitter should give you peace of mind and I can do that for you! I'm currently working full time. My job is flexible with lunch breaks being a little more than an hour at 11:30 Monday - Thursday. I am also available after work from 4pm - 5pm. Fridays are much more flexible and allow me to visit your fur babies any time with notice! This side gig is helping me to pay off student loans! I care for pets per the owners instructions to a T. I would want someone to follow my instructions for my fur babies so I respect that with clients as well! I am quick to give you a call to clarify any questions I may have.

About: I've had animal experience as long as I can remember. I've had a ton of pets growing up, from ferrets, to fish, to cats, and of course dogs. I had to take care of all of them and all of the responsibilities in taking care of a pet. Animals make me a happier and better person. One day I plan on owning and operating my own pet day care, where you can bring any animal you'd like and myself and my crew will take care of them Every morning when I wake up, the first thing I do is take care of my pet; I let my dogs out and I feed them. They go out multiple times a day and get fed twice a day. I will provide your pet with as much outside time as needed. If you have a crate and they consider their crate as their safe space, I will be more than happy to set it up in my home.

About: I have experience taking care of my dog for the last 9 years. I love throwing with my labradoodle and I get along with all kinds of dogs. My roommate in college has a golden retriever that I would take care of when he went out of town. I’m working part-time 3-4 days a week as a server in Alpharetta. Whenever I’m not working, I am available to dog sit. I am typically free on weekends. I have experience feeding and walking my neighbor’s dog, my roommate’s dog in college, and my dog. • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
