About: I have experience taking care of rabbits, cats and dogs, including dogs with young puppies, senior dogs, dogs with disabilities, and animals requiring medication. I've had dogs and cats since I was a little kid! I absolutely love animals and adore taking care of them! Friends, family, roommates, neighbors and professors in grad school have relied on me to take care of their animals. I would love to be able to help take care of your pet because all animals deserve to feel safe and cared for, even when their owners are away :) I love animals of all sizes and am not easily intimidated by large animals. One of my dogs was not only large, but quite aggressive and therefore I also know how to handle difficult or rough interactions between animals. I'm currently on summer vacation so I have plenty of time to watch your pets! Open to weekdays or weekends; mornings, evenings, and nights as well! I prefer the clients home (because pets are most comfortable in their normal, home environment). I'm more than happy to take dogs for walks or to local dog parks as well! I have been especially respectful of my clients homes, making sure to clean up after both the animal and myself in order maintain both spaces!
“Alexis was great with Ellie and Boomerang. She responded promptly, kept me updated with how they were doing, and was so patient with Ellie! Will be booking her again!”

“Olivia was amazing! She house sat and watched our senior dog for about five days, and everything was in top shape when we returned:) She sent constant updates/photos and was very responsive and so kind. Definitely would trust her to do so agan and would recommend her to anyone!”

“I think everyone looking for a sitter expects your pet to be fed, exercised, watered, etc. at the very least… but Madeline went above and beyond. She loved the heck out of my dog. Every photo she sent, you could tell he was so happy to be with her. That made it a bit easier to be away from him. I would absolutely book with her again! Thank you Madeline, B sends his love!”

“Christine did a stellar job looking after my dog! She was very accommodating and caring. I greatly appreciated how she sent lots of pictures to keep me posted! :)”

“Dakota stayed at my house for 5 days sitting my dog Bella while I was traveling. It already was clear at the meet and great that Dakota is a natural "dog person" as Bella connected with her right away and was happy in her presence. During the dog sitting Dakota send me regular updates about Bella via text and included many pictures. When I came home from my trip Bella was happy and well taken care off. I can only say good things about how Dakota cared for Bella. I will hire Dakota again in case she is available. Highly recommended.”

“Mary was AMAZING!! She hung out and played with our dogs and sent lots of pictures! She kept me updated on everything that happened! She not only took good care of our dogs but good care of our house while she stayed! I HIGHLY recommend Mary for all your pet needs!(:”

About: My name is Manuela, I am a bilingual mom of two teenage girls, that love having dogs around. Also, mom of two dogs Luke(male) and Mika(female). In the past I have needed help taking care of my dogs while having to be away at soccer tournaments. I am joining Rover to return the favor for those in need. I live in a house with a big backyard(not fenced in). I have been a dog owner for 10+ years. Willing to care for and help your furry family when you are not able. I am very excited to help in any way that I can, and would love for you to reach out to me when needed. Have a great day and hope to see meet you and your furry family soon! I am eager to assist those in need because I also have three dogs at home and am aware that sometimes we can't take them everywhere. Three dogs that love to play and make new acquaintances live in my fenced-in yard. We enjoy spending time with all breeds of dogs since my girls and I have such a deep affinity for them.
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and in the last five years, have raised three puppies into well-behaved, mature dogs, and cared for my two senior dogs until they passed. I personally trained my youngest dog and she is the best-behaved pup in public! I have experience with administering medication, grooming, training, feeding routines, and overall handling, especially dogs that are skittish or fearful. All of these skills helped me excel in both of my kennel assistant positions. I am patient and fully willing to provide care for senior or injured pets, as they hold a special place in my heart. I'm currently a full-time student at MSU, and will share my schedule when a booking request is made. I have gaps between my classes, and am generally done with school around 12 pm on T/TH and around 2-3pm on M/W/F. Again, I have gaps between classes so I am available at different times of day. I am fully free on the weekends! I have three dogs and two cats currently living at home, while I have my third car with me at college. My college car is also blind and one of my home dogs has a torn CCL, but they both are adored all the same. I wouldn't change it for the world! My dogs are on radio collars on occasion (generally when strays begin to appear), but more often than not, they are inside-outside dogs and are let out on average 4-6x a day. My own dog, Felix, has the torn CCL and gets leashwalked 4-6x a day as well. All of my cats are free-fed dry food, and my blind kitty gets fed a special dry food. My oldest cat (13 yrs) is also fed wet food as an additional food, 1-2x a day. Their litter box is cleaned weekly, as we do not scoop, but I do scoop my blind cat's litter box daily, as she is the only cat in the dorm and the box is suited specifically for her. In my clients home, I will follow any and all rules and regulations laid out of me. I love "excessive details" as they give me a better idea of how to properly care for the pets. I follow feeding times and amounts to a T, and double, triple, sometimes quadruple-checking amounts of everything, whether it be food, medications, or the amount of excrement I find. If anything looks off (behavior, excrement, appetite, etc.) the owner is immediately notified with a mentality of "what do you want me to do next?" My goal is to treat the pet as good as the owner does, in the time I am around them. On walks, I encourage proper walking skills (heeling, low reactivity), and try to help teach dogs as I do so. If allowed by the owner, I'd use low-calorie, high-reward treats with a clicker tool to help refine walking skills. This way the pet gets mental and physical stimulation, while being able to still be themself.
About: I have one dog at home who requires medication, so I know how to give medication. I also have my own cat. I also have a betta fish. I take care of my cat daily. I clean her litter box everyday. I change her water and food daily. I make sure she gets enough attention. I will do whatever is required of me to keep your fur baby happy. Whether it's long walks or snuggle time on the cozy couch.
“Chloe is FABULOUS! We will definitely be using her for our pet sitting needs. She is a wonderful communicator and went above and beyond to make sure my babies were well taken care of while we were away!”

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was 6 years old. I used to have a blue heeler that I taught how to heel. This was very useful at the dog park. I’m a college student at Mississippi State University and only have a few classes in person so I have plenty of free time to care for pets. I have two pups in my hometown that I miss a lot while I am at college. Caring for your dogs makes me feel a little less homesick.
About: I’ve been a devoted dog and cat lover my entire life, with a natural gift for patience, trust-building, and making every pet feel completely at home and adored. With dogs, I truly shine: I love long, adventurous walks that satisfy even the most energetic pups, and I’m excellent at positive training—teaching fun tricks like sit, spin, high-five, roll-over, and more to boost confidence and keep minds engaged. Your dog will get plenty of play, structure, cuddles, and undivided attention. Cats seem to sense my calm, gentle energy—they often flock to me right away for affection and lap time. I excel at reading their unique quirks, providing interactive play, cozy routines, respectful space, and all the little things that make them relax and purr. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about spoiling every furry guest. Whether dog, cat, or both, your pets will receive joyful, top-tier care and come home happy, relaxed, and wagging or purring louder than ever! I work from home in Starkville, so I’m super flexible and can devote lots of quality time to your furry babies! Whether it’s drop-ins, walks, day care, or overnight stays, I tailor care to your pet’s needs and routine. A typical day with your pets might look like this: • Morning: Fresh food/water, potty breaks or litter scooping, playtime or a leashed walk (especially for dogs who love adventures). • Midday: Extra attention—long walks, trick training sessions, cuddles, or interactive play to keep energy high and boredom low. • Afternoon/Evening: More potty/play, feeding if needed, and wind-down time with lots of love and monitoring. I’m available most days and can adjust for your schedule—early mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever works best. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches; they’ll get consistent care, exercise, and affection from someone who’s right there at home with them. Message me to discuss your ideal routine—I’m excited to make it perfect for you and your pets! Your pet’s safety and well-being are my absolute top priority—I’m super reliable, trustworthy, and fully committed to providing secure, attentive care every time. I work from home in Starkville, which means I’m always present and can give your furry family member constant supervision, quick responses to needs, and plenty of love throughout the day. No long stretches alone—your pet gets consistent attention, play, and monitoring. While I don’t have a fenced backyard, that won’t limit exercise or fun at all! I make sure every dog gets ample safe, leashed walks (often multiple per day) in pet-friendly neighborhoods or parks, tailored to their energy level. This keeps them physically and mentally stimulated while staying secure under my direct watch. I follow all care instructions closely, send Rover Cards updates with photos, respect your home, and communicate openly. I’m background-checked through Rover and insured for peace of mind. Pet parents trust me because I treat every animal like my own—safe, happy, and spoiled!
About: I have been caring for pets my entire life. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets, relying on me to provide dependable and loving care. I currently work full-time at Mississippi State and maintain a flexible schedule that allows me to step out during the day for pet care needs such as feeding and walks. I’m available after 5 PM on weekdays and can provide full-time care on weekends. Having grown up with dogs, I understand the importance of dependable and compassionate care, and I will treat your pets with the same attention and respect I give my own. I’m available to stay overnight in your home to ensure your dog feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. In addition to pet care, I’m happy to handle light house-sitting tasks as needed. I take the responsibility of being in someone else’s home very seriously and will always make sure both your pet and your home are well cared for.
About: I have worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years, I have experience with all breeds. I also can medicate and adapt to your pets needs!!! I am very flexible with my schedule. I can check in and walk your dog a few times a day or stay with them overnight!! I do have a large dog myself that is very sweet and loves to play! She loves new friends and will keep your pup in good company!
About: I love taking care of animals! I have years of experience taking care of my neighbors animals and even have experience working with animals in clinics! To top off my love for animals, I am a pre-vet student at Mississippi State University! Important to note: for January 12-May 14 bookings, I will only be available in the Starkville MS area. All other times I am available in Fuquay-Varina, NC. Rover will be a valuable job for me as I try to earn my experience hours for vet school! This means that I will have all day to take care of your pets and can make extra or emergency visits on top of my regularly scheduled visits. I like to come over three times a day, in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I am willing to add more per request, as some dogs need more attention. A typical visit looks like a bathroom break, feeding in the morning and evening, and cuddle or play time depending on your pet!

Olivia was WONDERFUL! When I asked her to help with my hospice foster fog to attend a family funeral, she was there. The vet had asked that I track my dogs water intake, and she did that, administered medicine, fed, walked, played and cuddled with my pet! She gave wonderful updates and photos! She left my house cleaner than I found it, while stripping the ned, taking out the trash even though I did not even request that. I WILL be asking Olivia back !

Taylor was absolutely wonderful with Maverick. She kept him last minute for me for five days. He was very happy with all the attention he got and lots of walks and snuggles. Taylor kept my apartment very neat and clean. I will definitely use Taylor for any future trips I have to take without my Maverick.

It already was clear at the meet and great that Dakota is a natural "dog person" as Bella connected with her right away and was happy in her presence.
