About: I’m a young professional working for Mississippi State University. Most of my availability will be on the weekends, but I can do weekdays if it is close to Starkville. I am not in a financial position to have my own pet, so please share yours with me!! I grew up with pugs, a cat, and even a parakeet at one point, so I am familiar with pet care. I’ve also cared for pets with special health needs/concerns. When it comes to dog walking, I’m happy to oblige any mileage or play style your pet might need. I’m also a runner, so happy to run or play frisbee with your dog if he or she is so athletically inclined. I am most available on weekends as I travel during the week in the Fall and Spring. My brother's pup lives with us, however, so I am used to taking her on walks during my lunch break and caring for her while he is out for work. When house sitting, I prefer to view and familiarize myself with your place and the pups before agreeing to a booking. If the dog or home are not a good fit, we can discuss after an initial meeting.

About: Hello Everyone! Thank you for clicking on my profile! A little about me is I am a graduate student at Mississippi State University and I am from Wisconsin! The prompt is “What sets you apart from other sitters?” Well for me personally, probably not ton from all the other wonderful people here. But, I will be very real and honest with you when I say, I just have a ton of love for animals. Being here Mississippi State as an out-of-state student, I am missing my pets terribly. I miss taking them for a long walks, having them get excited for me when I enter the home, treating them like my family, and most importantly the joy and happiness I get from being around animals. I’ve had animals my entire life and this is the first time I do not have a pet and so I thought I would come to this platform to be able to have the opportunity to treat your pet with the upmost appreciation, respect, and family member love that they deserve. I am committed to ensuring that your pet is well taken care of, safe, and enjoys my time they spend with me! If you read to the end, thank you so much and I hope that I get to meet your furry friend soon enough! Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine by emphasizing communication and ensuring that myself, you, and most importantly, the pet are all on the same level of understanding. I am wanting to incorporate pet sitting, walking, checking into my life because I want to and it will bring me happiness. I will work to ensure that I fit this into my life around my work and school schedule. How do I care for pets my own home? My first priority is always creating a safe environment for any pet that enters my space. As a individual who has had a family dog my entire life, I know that a lot of things on the floor or countertops can be very easily accessible and so I will work towards making sure pets can’t get into anything toxic or harmful. I also try to emphasize comfort when pets enter my home, because being a new space is always scary, especially for pets, and so trying to make them as comfortable by providing them with a cozy space to sleep, bringing them their favorite toy, sticking to a routine, and playing with them. When caring for pets in other peoples homes, I want to make sure that I have a meet and greet so that I know all of the care instructions and routines. I also want to emphasize that I am going to be very respectful of your space, making sure that I am cleaning up after myself, and ensure that your home is how you left it upon return. If I am caring for your pet in my home or yours, I want to ensure that we had an emergency plan in place just in case something were to happen I’d know how to contact you or your preferred vet for emergencies.

About: I have worked with animals of all types over the best several years. I have personally had dogs, both big and small, in my household since I was a child. I currently have a cat who was adopted. In high school I worked with farm animals, exotics, reptiles, and birds. I am also a current first year vet student. I am a current first year vet school student at Mississippi State. I am available before classes on weekdays and after class (8-5), although some days I get out as early as 1:00. I am available during the evening after 5:00. I am available all weekend for your service. I am more than willing to work with every pet own to determine the best schedule for their pets. When working in a clients home, I would first set up a meeting to talk through their normal routine. I would strive to match what they do for their beloved pets throughout the service. I have experience with handling rowdy dogs, anxious animals, and untrusting pets.
14. Madeline B.
“We had a great experience with Madeline. She’s very communicative and provides updates with each visit. One of my cats is diabetic and afraid of strangers but Madeline made sure on her first visit that he finished his food and got his shot, even while he was in his hiding place. She also cleaned the litter boxes. When we returned home from our trip, both cats seemed very content so i know Madeline also took time to give them attention at each visit. It is hard to leave your pets with someone new but 10/10 recommend Madeline!”
15. Cateland R.
“Cat is amazing with animals!! She puts time and effort into making sure they are well behaved and happy, and goes above and beyond to keep them safe! She loves all of animals so much and would treat other peoples animals just the same.”

18. Malorie R.
About: My name is Malorie! I grew up on a farm in Olive Branch, MS and currently live in Starkville, MS. I've cared for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, and cows since I was a little kid. I have one 9 year old old chocolate lab named Ellie May. I've trained her to sit, lay down, jump, stay, high five, shake, "down", "go outside", and retrieve. She is a well trained hunting dog (birds and deer) also. Taking care of animals isn’t just a “job” for me, it’s what I love. And I’d love to watch yours :) message me for more info! Pet care fits into my daily routine as a first priority because I love animals. I’m currently a college student, so I have pretty open free time! I care for people’s pets in my home (or their home) the same way I care for my own pet. I do this because I would want someone to do the same for my dog - treating her with the utmost care.
