Kenneth always communicated promptly. When he ready for pick up, he had all belongings together, doubled checked things and helped me carry things to the car. Very thoughtful and kind! I would definitely (and already am) booking my Rover care with Kenneth again!”

She allowed us to meet ahead of time to make sure Jax was comfortable. During his stay I got tons of pictures and could tell he was having the best vacation! And it allowed me to enjoy my time with friends instead of worrying about him as I could tell he was in good hands. Our flight got delayed and she was so flexible about pick up. “Michelle was a total lifesaver. I was already out of state when the other sitter (who is thought was a friend) backed out of watching him, not even 36 hrs into the stay. She claimed he attacked her kid unprovoked, and attacked her dog unprovoked. I knew that I wasn't getting the whole story or I was just getting lies- she even left a dent and a scratch on my car to out of spite. But Michelle came in a blazing glory. She went an picked up Axle and other was such a perfect fit. Even when my pup Supermanned over a baby gate, she didn't fuss, just came up with a solution to the problem. Michelle is the sweetest. I will definitely be going back to her every year on my out of state trips. I can't recommend her enough. Sent me pictures amd updates everyday, and didn't get annoyed by how many times I checked in with Axle. It was 100% last minute boarding, and she pulled through!”

About: Animals have always been the heartbeat of my life. I’m 45 years old, and from the time I could read, you’d find me flipping through my dog encyclopedia (yes, I still have it!). I’ve never lived in a home without a dog and a cat—and over the years, I’ve also loved and cared for hedgehogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, lovebirds, bearded dragons, fish, and more. If it has fur, feathers, or scales, I’ve probably cuddled it, cared for it, and loved it. Before moving to Idaho two years ago, I volunteered at a California animal shelter for 26 wonderful years. From walking dogs and socializing cats to photographing adoptables and helping families meet their perfect pet match, I gained hands-on experience with animals of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Watching so many pets find their forever homes filled my heart and shaped the way I care for animals today—with patience, love, and a deep understanding of their individual needs. Pet sitting has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. Friends and family always trusted me with their fur babies, and word of mouth kept me busy! I'm also a teacher with a master’s degree and a teaching credential, but after realizing how undervalued teachers are in Idaho, I’ve chosen to follow another one of my passions—animals. That’s what brought me to Rover. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and at home—even when their humans are away. I can’t wait to meet yours! I recently wrapped up a year of teaching first grade, and while I still have a love for education, I've decided to shift my focus full-time to something I’ve always been passionate about—caring for animals. On calendar days I'm available, I can give your pets the love, attention, and care they deserve 24/7. While I may occasionally substitute teach during the school year, it’s completely flexible—so my schedule always revolves around your pet’s needs first. I have two wonderful boys (ages 12 and 14) and a supportive fiancé who all share my love for animals. When they’re home, they’re happy to help shower your fur baby with affection too! There will be times I'm driving the boys to soccer, school, etc, but that won't take away from the love and care I give your pet. As an active and healthy 45-year-old who loves being outdoors, I’m always up for daily walks, playtime, and adventures. Whether your pet loves snuggles, strolls, or spirited games of fetch, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved every single day. My top priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved—whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours. Every animal is different, and I take the time to learn exactly what your pet needs and follow your instructions to a T. After all, you know your fur baby best! In my home, your pet will be welcomed into a peaceful and happy environment. I share my space with Charlie, our sweet 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He’s the ultimate furry gentleman—gentle, playful, and respectful of other animals’ energy. If your pup wants a buddy to play with, Charlie’s all in. If they prefer space, he totally understands that too. We also have a cat named Batman who lives his best life upstairs in his own private cat kingdom, complete with cat trees and tunnels—perfect for keeping him content and separate if needed. Our home is a two-story house in a quiet, safe neighborhood with parks nearby—great for walks and sniffing adventures. We have a large, grassy, fully fenced backyard with plenty of shade and a patio for lounging. There’s also a dog door for easy access to the yard, and I use baby gates or an extra-large crate as needed to keep everyone safe and happy. When caring for pets, I keep a close eye on their energy and comfort. I love taking dogs for daily walks and adventures—whether it’s around the neighborhood, through the local parks, or even on hikes, paddleboarding outings, or strolls through Scheels! But of course, everything is based on your pet’s needs, personality, and your preferences. When I’m not home (which isn’t often!), I make sure pets are safely separated or crated—whichever is best for them. And I’m never gone for more than a couple of hours at a time. Your pet will always be treated like part of the family here!
