“Nexsy was incredible. She helped on short notice and still snuck in a meet and greet. Polite, kind, and very understanding of our dogs. She went above and beyond during the time she spent with them by doing some helpful behavioral training. We felt they were in safe and capable hands. Highly recommended!”

About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at an elementary school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. I will take care of pets in clients home with care plan that fits the pets needs. Give them plenty of attention and care to take away any worries when you are away.

“Sammy cared for our pets several full days and nailed their routines and playtime. She texted updates and sent pics regularly. Our dog and cat are quite needy and Sammy made them feel secure and happy. We felt relieved and assured they were in great hands, and she willingly took care of minor home issues that came up. Her experience and love for pets - both dogs and cats, was evident.”

“Aiden did an amazing job with watching our dog and house while we were away for 5 nights. Dog was well cared for, happy and comfortable while we were away. Aiden was very communicative and we returned home to our house as clean as we left it. Thank you, Aiden!”

“My boyfriend and I hired Kim to dog sit for us when we were gone for 8 days for vacation. We were very nervous about hiring someone to watch our dog and stay at our house because we have never done this before. The one other time we needed a dog sitter we used a friend of ours who was unable to do it this time. We met Kim at Fountain Park in WIlbraham with Rogue so she could meet him and we could see how they interacted. My boyfriend was more hesitant about hiring a stranger than I was but after meeting Kim, (and talking to a reference she provided for us) we decided to hire her. She came to our house and paid close attention to all the little details I shared with her about Rogue. While we were gone we had limited access for communication, but she was great about making sure if we asked how they were to send photos, videos, and an update. We came home to our house in the same condition as we left it. I was also impressed that I let her know that we had landed at the airport and would be home in the next hour and a half, and she left the key in a place where just in case something kept us from getting home that evening she could go back and take care of Rogue for another day if needed. She really thought of everything. Rogue looked like he had a great time with her. We will definitely hire her again if we need a dog sitter again.”

About: As a college student with a set weekly schedule, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. While I may be new to the Rover platform and the area, I’m certainly not new to pet care. I grew up in a household with three dogs and currently help care for my family’s Yorkipoo, so I’m well-versed in the daily responsibilities and emotional needs that come with pet ownership. Additionally, I’ve looked after the dogs of friends and coworkers, gaining valuable experience in adapting to various routines, behavioral quirks, and care preferences. “Liz is a wonderful sitter. I have two cats that's she spends a week with every year while I go on vacation. She feeds them according to the schedule they are on while I'm home and makes sure that the liter boxes are clean. She spends time with them everyday. I use to worry how the boys would be when I got home before and now I know I can go and not worry cause they are in good hands. Highly recommended if you want someone who cares about the animals as if they are own.”

Ashley L.Star Sitter
“Ashley is a phenomenal pet-sitter. She takes wonderful care of my two cats, 5 and 3 years-old, both of whom have very distinct and somewhat fussy personalities. They also both have different dietary restrictions of which she’s always been very cognizant. My youngest cat has some temperament issues, so she does have to administer medication on the nights she’s watching him, and my older cat requires frequent teeth brushing to keep her hereditary gum disease at bay, which Ashley is also able to handle. Would definitely recommend!”

Staffordville pet parents share their Rover experiences
This is the second time Chelsea has come to watch our dog goose. She sent us many pictures during her stay, and it was clear our puppy liked her. Despite being usually nervous around new people, he happily snuggled with Chelsea on the couch. We came home to a clean house, a thank you card, and homemade biscuits for Goose. If Chelsea is available, she is our number one choice for a dog sitter.

Chelsea always goes above and beyond when taking care of our dog, Goose. She sends plenty of fun photos of the two of them together, and we came home not only to homemade dog treats, a handwritten thank you note, and a spotless house but also a thoughtful gift for our future son after she noticed we were expecting. She's always our first choice when we need a dog sitter
