“We couldn’t be happier with Kristin as our dog’s pet sitter! This was their second stay with her, and when we knew we were going out of town, there was no question—Kristin is the one we wanted to care for them again. She is incredibly attentive and caring, always making sure they’re comfortable and happy. We loved the regular updates she sent throughout the day; it’s clear how much she loves animals and how dedicated she is to providing them with the best care. Highly recommend Kristin to anyone looking for a reliable, loving pet sitter.”

“This was our very first time leaving our dog Scarlet with a sitter other than family and needless to say I was a bit anxious...but after our meet and great day I knew Patrick and Susan were the sitters for her! It was definitely like a home away from home feel. They had a great set-up in their home and yard for Scarlet to feel comfortable. They are very caring and went above and beyond with Scarlet. The day we were supposed to drop Scarlet off, she had developed a sore on her hind leg and Patrick and Susan were so wonderful and reassuring that they would take good care of it. We were taking a trip for a week out of the country and felt so comfortable knowing Scarlet was in great hands! All the photos, texts and updates on Scarlet were even more reassuring! We are so grateful to have found Patrick and Susan for Scarlet and definitely will be using them again! We totally recommend them!!”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of Trixie! It’s greatly appreciated. While we hate leaving her, knowing someone else cares for her as much as we do makes it a little easier.”

“Loki says he had the best time ever! Thank you for having him and taking such great care of him as well. I’m sure he was a handful at times especially with him missing us and we appreciate all you do!”

“I am so grateful and appreciative of Sandra‘s loving care of Lulu while I was gone for 13 days. Lulu has a seizure disorder and Sandra was amazing with giving her medication and keeping me updated every day with her status and sending pictures of how well loved and cared for she was. Sandra and her husband John invited Lulu into their home and treated her as though she was theirs!”

“I recommend Novelette highly. It seemed to take a bit for our dog to settle in, and Novelette was very patient & accommodating! She was a great communicator & sent plenty of pictures to keep me up-to-date on our dog. She was kind & flexible. Thank you again, Novelette!❤️”

“Once again, Dash has a great stay with Alan and Luis. We received pictures every day with updates and when we pull into their driveway Dash gets excited to see their dogs and loves running in their fenced in yard. We never have to worry about Dash when we go away ‘”

“I would highly recommend Allison to take care of your dogs! She is so caring and definitely communicates with you to let you know what's going on! Her dog, Mollie is so sweet too! She has 2 fenced in areas- a front yard and back yard with a pool! There is definitely plenty of places for your dogs to roam and play outside. She also has a nice area inside for them to play and where she gives tons of cuddles! She honors whatever your routine is, as I wanted my dog to sleep in her soft crate and be fed twice a day with pottie breaks every 4hrs. She is very reliable, dependable, efficient and a total sweetheart! She knows how to slowly introduce dogs and makes sure everyone is safe and comfortable besides having fun! I was so calm knowing that my Lola was in good hands and given so much attention by her, her family, and the other dogs! A definite 5 star rating in my book!”

“Amazing sitter on Rover and such a nice guy, he was able to accommodate my last-minute request and took great care of my puppy cheri. I would highly recommend him.”

When we go away I will feel very confident to leave him with her again. I will give her 5 stars as far as care for my dog.”

“Have had Kaylee cat sit numerous times for me and she is simply the best. From the notes about the visits to the pictures taken for the Rover cards it is just awesome. I will absolutely be using her again. Very highly recommended!!!!”

“We had the absolute best experience with Ashley! Not only was she incredibly sweet and attentive with our cat, but she went above and beyond in every way. She even taught our kitty a cute little trick which we’re still amazed by and made sure our home was tidy, taking out the trash without us even asking. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our cat was not only well cared for but truly loved while we were away. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animals!”

“Kage was great with Stella and Luna. Each drop in he gave a detailed description of everything along with photos. He had good base knowledge of cat behavior which made us feel comfortable right away. 10/10 recommend!”

“Nicole was extremely reliable and professional and I will definitely reach out to her again next time I need cat sitter. My elderly cat is sweet, but also a bit moody at times, and Nicole did an amazing job at helping my cat naturally come out of her shell and feel safe. The photo updates Nicole sent were also great and really set my mind at ease.”

“Karinna did an excellent job with my cats. Even my tortie started to warm up to her. She was prompt with the feeding times and sent great pictures. It was comforting to know I didn’t have to worry about them ❤️ Thank you!”

“Sammy watched my dog Brody for a week. She showed up each day on-time and provided pictures and texts. I really felt like she did a good job with him as he can be difficult to warm up to people when we aren’t there. I would definitely recommend her and use her again!”

“Amanda did a wonderful job caring for our cat Serene while we were on vacation. She was extremely kind, caring and thoughtful, she provided excellent and constant communication about Serene’s well-being. She not only fed Serene and cleaned her litter box every visit like asked, but also played with her and bonded with her, and provided us with cute photos of her to look at while we were away and missing her. “Rachel was very helpful with my two cats and had great communication, and even called to ask if anyone had been in the house between visits when things didn't look the same (the cats had moved a curtain). Her diligence was greatly appreciated. Would certainly hire again.”

“Kristen- Such a blessing to have found you for my baby girl! Thank you so much! I don’t want to write the beyond-glowing review you so deserve because Kahlua (not me 😇😉) wants to keep you all to herself!”

“Keri and Amy did a wonderful job watching Phineas. They sent us some wonderful pictures of him enjoying his time with them. We would definitely recommend them and we will hope to use them again in the future.”

“My dog loved it with them. With a new puppy I felt comfortable leaving her with them, and the did a great job with her. Loved the updates throughout the day. Will use them again as I feel safe leaving my puppy with them”

“My dog Milo adores Paul. It is extremely reassuring to see how excited Milo gets to see Paul pull into the driveway to take him for the day. Paul responds very quickly to messages/requests, is very accommodating, and provides me with updates and pictures/videos of the day they had on walks and hiking. I have utilized him numerous days when I need assistance with Milo, and it is nice to have someone so trustworthy to watch after my pup.”

“Lauren is fantastic. She’s dependable, clearly loves dogs, and takes great care of them at daycare. My pup always comes home happy and tired from a great day. Highly recommend.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Karen. She watched my 9 week old puppy and provided me with updates. Karen was also flexible. I had to change my drop-off and pick-up time during one of the days that she watched my puppy; and Karen made it work for me. I's super thankful.”

“Blu loved his stay with Colette and Sammy. . He was able to play out in fenced yard and he really connected with Colette. On his last day he made sure to give a little kiss. Thanks again Colette.”

“Okay, I am sorry. Cannot find another way to leave message on Rover. FYI, there is no "3-dotted icon in the upper right corner of the upcoming tab so that I can modify a booking." As Novelette & I discussed this week, I will not need daycare on August 10, 13, 24,27, and 31, or September 3. This is a combination of her and my vacation weeks and will be a rare exception to our regular Monday & Thursday schedule. Thank you for your attention, and here is my review: "Bruce loves visiting Novelette and is making a great adjustment there. She is very warm, nurturing, and responsive to his needs. We could not be happier with how things are going so far. Thank you!"”

“Hannah was great, she kept me updated and sent me photos/ videos to show me how much fun my puppy had. It was nice to see Reese with his new dog friends Wolf and Connie 😊 She has a very large backyard with so much room to run and play. I will definitely be bringing Reese back again.”

“Renata took such good care of our pup. She put her at ease when she was nervous. Once our pup settled in, she kept me updated and then captured all the fun moments of playing and silliness. Our girl had the best time and was exhausted from playing so much. Such a wonderful experience!”

“Dani was amazing! Took my dog to her 3x and she was excited each time. Photos and updates were sent without asking. I would definitely book anytime to take care of my fur baby. I highly recommend.”

About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure stalls with the addition of our open more homey areas. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

“Anna is a wonderful doggy care taker! Our two pups were very happy and she sent lots of pictures of them cuddling and hanging out just as if they were at our own home, not somewhere new! This was our first time using doggy day care for one of our dogs who we recently rescued so we were nervous but we couldn't have found a better person to make them feel at peace. Definitely recommend and will be requesting her in the future!”

“We had to book a doggie day care day last minute with Allison and she was fantastic! Very friendly and welcoming and she took such good care of our Poppy. Highly recommend!”

“This was my first time booking with Vassu. Vassu was wonderful with my dog, Maddie. Maddie enjoyed her large fenced in yard, including discovering her dog door. Maddie was also spoiled with walks, dog toys, and the company of Vassu's dog Ninja. Vassu shared pictures with me through out Maddie's stay. Vassu was professional and made my first time experience with the Rover App a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I will definitely use Vassu in the future. Maddie and I thank Vassu, Ninja, and her family for all the love you gave her while she stayed.”

“Rebecca was great. We were traveling and spending time with family and were able to leave the dogs for 2 days and be free to visit. The dogs loved their stay too! We now have someplace to leave the dogs whenever we come and visit.”

“Kaylee walked my dog daily while I was on vacation. She was prompt, professional and gave my dog a little extra TLC every day. She sent pictures and daily updates. I would definitely recommend Kaylee!”

“Wonderful dog walkers. Pat was critical to helping me successfully interview for a job (including full days of Zoom) without whiny dogs in the background and was highly responsive and flexible in scheduling. We are looking forward to boarding our dogs with them and only wish they had greater availability (but of course, top dog walkers/boarders are busy!).”

“Samantha was on time very morning to walk our dogs, was great about staying in touch with updates and photos. She was also super patient with our one pup who has been healing from a wounded shoulder so could/would only walk short distances. She was flexible and adaptable to make sure she still got attention. We were able to relax during vacation knowing Samantha was there every morning for our doggos.”

“Paul is a wonderful addition to my dog’s routine! I was scrambling to figure out what to do on my 12 hour days with my newly adopted rescue female pit mix when classes started this Fall. After reviewing a few profiles, Paul’s really stuck out as someone with both passion and genuine knowledge about dogs/dog behavior. I asked him to come meet my dog before we officially booked to ensure that she reacted well to him. Within the first few minutes, my dog was on her back requesting belly rubs. Needless to say, they hit it off! I feel very comfortable with Paul and SO pleased with how happy my dog looks in the pictures I get from their weekly walks. Even when she refuses to go outside in the rain, he spends time hanging out with her so she still gets some attention. I couldn’t be more appreciative and I’m sure my dog would 100% agree!”

I am also great at reading an animals body language which helps me connect better with anxious or shy pets to help make them feel as comfortable as possible. Spending time with animals is one of the best parts of my day, it fits naturally into my routine and brings me a lot of joy. I am very reliable, trustworthy and have a flexible schedule so I am able to work with you to create a schedule that you're most comfortable with. My home is spacious with 2 friendly cats and 2 well-socialized dogs who all coexist peacefully and are used to having new furry friends around for a temporary time. Pets in my home are all treated like family where they receive plenty of love, playtime, cuddles and socialized attention. My backyard is fenced in for safe outdoor exercise or just to hangout and catch a breeze on a nice day, my neighborhood also includes many quiet side streets for daily walking if needed. My home is air conditioned on those days that are just too hot and heated when it gets too cold. There is a big basket on the floor full with multiple types of toys, an easy accessible water bowl that's refilled at least 3xs per day, food or things on counter is not left anywhere that can be easily reached and harmful plants/chemicals to animals are not brought/used in my home.

I pride myself with the cleanliness I keep my home and pets, and I would show your home and pets the same respect. I have several clients who have d different needs that I cater too. About: Hello! My name is Amanda. I live in Tolland, CT with my husband and son. I have a lifetime of experience with animals of all kinds. Growing up I always had dogs and/or cats, as well as several other types of pets. I worked in a pet grooming salon for 6 1/2 years, and a doggy daycare for 1 year. I have also done pet walking and sitting for family and friends. I have owned and/or taken care of many different types of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, and mice. We currently have a dog, cat, guinea pig, and turtle! I take care of and love each pet as if they are my own. I am a kind, compassionate, patient person who can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care is my full time job. My schedule is flexible, I can usually always find a time to fit in a furry friend! My husband is a stay at home dad, so I don't have to worry about having to find childcare in order to work. I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. I would always make sure the pet is safe, loved, and well cared for. I live with my husband and son who are both animal lovers as well.
About: I love dogs and cats! I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! My recent experiences with Our Companions Animal Sanctuary and Canine College programs are teaching me so much about being a pet guardian for different kinds of dogs. I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk. I have friends who own cats, and I enjoy getting to know them as well.
“Ermelinda is truly amazing. Our skittish dog warmed up to her after the very first walk. The care instructions for our dog, Bella, was a laundry list and Ermelinda followed them to the letter. Your dogs will be in great hands with her. I highly recommend her services!”

“This was Bodhi’s second stay with Katie and her family. They took wonderful care of him and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who will treat your pet with loving care and attention.”

“Summer was amazing with our dog, Abby. She provided pictures and updates regularly. Abby seemed really comfortable when we took her to meet Summer. We appreciate all of the snuggle time Abby got and will not hesitate to leave her in Summer’s care again! Thank you for everything, Summer.”

“Morgan was super helpful when I needed a sitter on my road trip! She was so good with Molly and helped out extra since Molly wasn’t feeling the best on my trip and eating irregularly”

“Victoria was very easy to work with. We left our dog with a sitter for the first time. He did very well with Victoria, and she sent texts and photos to keep us updated on him. When we go away I will feel very confident to leave him with her again. I will give her 5 stars as far as care for my dog.”

“Leah was great with our Nelli! She sent pictures and kept us up to date on how things were going. Nelli didn't even hesitate when we dropped her off, which to us meant she knew she was in good hands. I will definitely be asking Leah to watch Nelli again.”

“Riley and Hudson had an amazing stay with Heather. I received photo and videos of the dogs playing and doing tricks. The dogs even came home smelling better than they did when I dropped them off. She did such a good job I booked her for more weekends over the summer.”

“Dani took great care of my baby! She was very flexible and accommodating. She and her family provided a loving, comfortable, and nurturing home environment during his stay. She provided so many pictures and updates throughout each day. Dani catered to changes in his diet and even cooked homemade food to his liking. To say she spoiled him would be an understatement! I definitely recommend the care in her home to any pet parent!”

“We highly recommend Ricky for your pet-sitting needs! He took great care of our older Yorkie. He provided daily updates and feedback, along with photos. The feeding instructions and medication were followed without any issues, and our little one returned happy and healthy. Excellent stay :-)”

“5 stars are not nearly enough! Our Husky was diagnosed with glaucoma in his left-eye a week before our Thanksgiving travel, and we were willing to sit out of the travel for his at-home eye care. Deb and Steve proved to be his Godparents - the love, warmth and family setting they took care of our Husky in has us speechless, and we are forever grateful. This is a relationship that we intend to continue for a very long time. Thank you - Deb and Steve, for taking care of our Husky better than we possibly could. That's a family right there!”
