About: I have always been an animal lover since childhood and have taken care of a variety of pets of all sizes! I've helped raise puppies, taken care of senior dogs, and helped train good walking, bathing, and bathroom habits. Most animals respond very well to me. Also being a bigger person I have no trouble dealing with larger dogs. Very experienced in all areas of pet care. I am at home this summer until my college classes start in the fall to continue my degree in early childhood education. Weekends or evenings are not a problem for house sitting. Drop by mid-day walks anytime I'm available! I have a lot of availability and would love to spend my time with animals giving them quality care and attention. I am more than happy to watch your pets while you are away on vacation or gone for the day. I Can do drop bys or overnights depending on your preference and your animals needs. I have a large fenced yard that is great for animals if you need boarding. I have reliable transportation to get to and from. I can take them on walks in your neighborhood or go to a local dog park if you prefer. Very open to working with what is best for your animal. I have my own dogs at home but will leave them there while caring for your animal(s) unless you would like the socializing. We have two friendly larger male dogs that love to meet new dogs if you are interested in doggy day care or boarding. Our home has a large size dog door for pets to access the house at their convenience.

About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.

About: I've always felt proud of my ability to get along with all kinds of creatures. Growing up, I was the kid who would petsit for all my friends' families. About: We have both had dogs and cats our entire lives and cared for them alone for most of our adult years. We currently are without a pet, and would love to spend time with yours to get our fill! We love to spend time outside and can take active dogs on long hikes or to spend time in the dog park. Whitney works during the day and Pablo works in the evenings, so your pets will have someone home with them almost all day and night. We are both full-time students during the school year. If you need someone to just be present with your pet and keep them company, we have plenty of homework we can sit and do while we spend time with them. We are willing to do drop-in visits as well as spend the night. Unfortunately, our building doesn't allow pets so we can't bring the pets home with us. I go to school a few days a week but rarely for the entire day. I work part-time and virtually, so I have plenty of time to drop in on your pets, take dogs for walks, and make sure the cat has food and water. I can crate pets in needed, and will always make sure they are fed. If your pet has a series of tricks for enrichment, I will be happy to work through them all with them. I can take dogs on long or short walks and to the park, and can also just spend time with them in their yard. Whitney works 9-5 and Pablo works as a server in the evenings, so usually one of us can usually be in your home at any time. We both have experience with older and/or disabled pets as well as puppies and kittens. We will treat your fur babies like they are our own.

About: Starting at an early age I have been caring and loving animals from my home, to volunteer work, and eventually to a professional level. I have experience working with animals with various behavioral, health conditions and other needs while establishing a very patient and gentle way of caring for them. I have been an animal care-taker on farms for various animals, worked with animals in shelters and most recently, a vet assistant for 1.5 years. About: I have had cats and dogs for my whole life, and currently have three cats, and a giant breed dog who I have trained since he was a puppy. I care very strongly about the welfare and happiness of pets, and want to take the best care of them possible. I am good at following instructions and I take my responsibilities seriously. I have been accepted to a foreign exchange program that has now been deferred to January, as they were unable to find a host family in the country. So until then my schedule is completely free and flexible. I have a great pyrenees akita mix who weighs about 110 pounds, who I trained from a puppy. I also have three cats, plus a family of friendly strays who live in the back yard. I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life and will do a great job of pet sitting and dog walking.
