“We were traveling in from Ohio and needed someone to watch over our 2 year old Bernedoodle 'Bernie' for the day as we celebrated my grand daughters graduation/ birthday. We traveled 45 mins to use Abigail because of her reviews and experience. Abigail was wonderful with communication, answering questions, providing pictures and updates during the entire process. It makes you a little nervous leaving your fur baby with a stranger but Rover helps to make everything easier with their program. “I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Rebekah and her daughter, Evelyn, were fantastic. Jax is a 4 month old puppy, so he is high energy. This presented no problem! Not only did he get exercise and stimulation, he was given a little new training, learning "nose" and "high 5". I got pix each day, showing my boy happy and enjoying his day care. He came back to me each night happy and tired, and was ready and willing to start all over again the next day. Rebekah treated Jax as her own, which made me a happy fur baby Mom. About: I've been around animals my entire life. I had 2 dogs and a cockatiel growing up that I helped care for. After I became older I have owned dogs, rats, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I also foster small animals for a local rescue and have found fantastic homes for over 50 small animals. I work a few hours a day from home so I have plenty of time to interact and take care of your pets & fur babies. I'm available most days and nights. I am self-employed and work from home so I can take care of your pets needs at any time of the day since my schedule is flexible. I personally have 2 dogs, a rabbit, chickens and ducks at my home so there are plenty of things to help keep your pets occupied and happy. I also foster small animals for a rescue I help out with. My yard is unfenced, but I live on a quiet street and have an open area across from my home to play fetch or throw a frisbee with your dogs and mine. In regards to caring for pets in your own home I follow any directions you give me for food/treat schedules, how often they need to go outside, things your pets can and cannot do, etc.

About: I have a German Shepherd and walk him every night around Canandaigua. He loves adventures and it is quite clear that dogs love to travel. I love to make sure they are having fun and are being stimulated. Dogs are so smart. It is fun to interact and treat them like friends. I am available all the time and have experience taking my neighbor's dogs out once a day as she was away at work. This was a truly fun experience and has compelled me to seek out more opportunities like that. About: I have had dogs for 20+ years. My dogs are free to roam everywhere in our home. I take daily walks and have a large back yard to run around in. During the day, I will have ample time to engage in walks, provide nourishment, and offer affection to your pet. I usually walk Bailee each morning and would be delighted if your furry companion could join us. Bailee consumes meals each morning and evening and indulges in a few treats throughout the day. The backyard is spacious and provides an ideal environment for your furry companion to engage in play and socialize. Should your pet require additional space, there is ample room to accommodate their needs. I am fortunate to have three energetic cats and a lovable chocolate lab. The neighborhood is quiet and I reside on a dead-end street.

About: I am a retired teacher who has had pets my whole life. My own children are grown and I am out of the classroom and thrive on taking care of beloved pets - my own and others. I am a hiker and enjoy having canine company when I walk. I will treat your family members with safe, loving kindness. I am involved with rescue work. Both of my dogs are rescues. My Cocker Spaniel was rescued after spending 6 years as a breeder in a puppy mill. I look at each dog I encounter as an individual with their own unique needs based on their temperament and background. This means that I am flexible when dealing with pups. I love cats but don't have one of my own because one of my dogs is reactive to them. I take care of friends' cats in their own homes. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I have the freedom to arrange my schedule according to the needs of the dogs in my home. I have a fenced in tard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog comfortable. My dogs are never left unattended even in the fenced in yard. I am always out with them when they are out. I am an experienced foster of dogs recently released from puppy mills. These dogs are flight risks so safety is always my first concern with any dog in my care. I use the two leash protocol when walking dogs. I will only board dogs when i do not have a foster dog.

About: Our pets are family, and it can be scary sometimes when you don't know who is caring for them while you're gone. Under my care, I treat every fur baby like they were my fur baby. I grew up living with dogs, a Bichon Frise and a Pit Bull, which taught me how to communicate and care for dogs of all sizes and dogs breeds with separation anxiety. I'm pretty active and am currently training for the NYC 2022 Marathon, so I love to run/walk with my dog Casper. About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). The dates I'm currently unavailable are July 8-24, 2022 and Sept 1-5, 2022. My Home: spacious living and family rooms for dogs to run around, a play mat area with toys, and plenty of space to bring your dog's bed so he/she feels comfortable and at home. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for both dogs and cats. Outside, we have a huge front and backyard, although it is not fenced, still a lot of space to run around on leash. And if your dog loves to run, he/she is welcomed to join our running pack. We're a 15-20 min walk to Canandaigua Lake, and a 3 minute drive to Bare Hill Unique Area. Your Home: I will request a Meet & Greet before booking, and would like to do an initial house visit to learn where the pet food, toys and cleaning supplies are located. Along with learning if your pet has any special needs like medication. I will be a respectful guest in your home and make sure your fur baby(ies) are loved and cared for while you are away.

About: My dogs and I are ready to watch and play with your pets! We love meeting new friends and are more than happy to accommodate you. I'm currently working from home and am generally home all throughout the day to play with and hang out with your pets. If I have an errand to run, I can always let you know ahead of time. We have a fenced in area for the dogs to play and splash if they want! If I do leave the house, I generally crate my dogs and would also crate your pet if you need. If the pet is fine to be out and unsupervised, that is fine too.
