“Brandy was great! Checked in on my pup when she said she would, fed her, and gave her play time outside. She gave ne the confidence to enjoy myself celebrating family knowing Charlie was well taken care of and happy! She was available last minute which was great!”

“Heather took care of our dog for drop-drop-in visits while we were away for 5 days. She took great care of our pup and communicated well. We would book her again in a heartbeat!”

“Abby did a fabulous job caring for my dog Mazie! She kept me updated and shared information in regard to how Mazie did. It allowed me to enjoy my vacation while also making me feel at ease knowing that Abby was taking great care of my dog throughout the day! Thank you Abby!”

“Christine is always a reliable and trustworthy sitter. She has taken care of my two cats several times over the last couple years, and I will continue to book with her whenever I am able!”

“Leah did a wonderful job taking care of our kitty while we were away. Showed up on time, and our Elric gained weight while we were away, so she obviously fed him well. Look forward to engaging her again for future catsitting.”

“Sammie is so good with our dog. He loves her! She takes time to play and talk to him, pets him and cuddles with him. She makes sure he eats and has water. She gives a good report after her visits.”

“Becky dog sits for us twice a week and does a great job! I love all the update pictures she sends and Pippin always looks like he’s having a good time. Would highly recommend to anyone!”
“Samantha genuinely loves animals and it shows, she uses the ‘dog mom voice’, she gets down at my dog’s level to play, and is so careful about health quirks. I would recommend her to anyone with a pet looking for a sitter!”

“Denise was amazing with our two pups while I was traveling - the updates were a bright spot in the days and I was able to relax knowing the dogs were so well cared for by Denise.”

“Did an awesome job! Got our Sheltie, who when we’re gone for more than a day, wants nothing more than to sink into depression and do nothing, to go outside and play a little bit. Our menagerie of kitties were in good hands, and she followed directions well. Would definitely use her services again!”

Very flexible with my time and can help on short notice I understand that every pet is different and has unique needs! My one cat Merlin is on a special urinary care diet so I take tons of precautions to make sure he doesnt have access to my other cats food. Ill treat your pets health and safety as if they were my own!
“Josie is amazing! She is such a good sport when my pup climbs all over her like a billy goat to give her kisses and hugs! Also it’s so cute when her son comes and gives my pup extra pets too!”

About: I have experience with many types of dogs of all sizes and energy levels! My dog, who is a coonhound mix, gets walked a lot, but is very chill and super friendly with other dogs. I’ve also cared for dogs from an aggressive lab mix, to a 4lb chihuahua. I had a long-term dog sitting job in college where I frequently gave medicine, assembled natural food plates, and exercised multiple dogs with different ages and energy levels. I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to tend to your pup! My dog also requires a lot of attention, so I’m used to dogs who need multiple walks a day and lots of cuddle/play time. My dog gets walked at least 4 miles a day, and has constant access to food and water, as he eats pretty intuitively. While he normally just lounges around the apartment while I’m gone, he is crate trained and can he put up if that is what your pup prefers!
“Rebecca took care of my cats over eight days while I was on vacation. She arrived promptly every day and took great care of them, feeding and cleaning the litter boxes. She sent daily photos and videos showing them at play. I am very happy with Rebecca and highly recommend her. I will use her again whenever I go away for an extended period of time. Thank You, Rebecca.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I’ve taken care of my families, friends, neighbors. I’ve bathed them, fed them, taken them out, and more. I used to work at a dog boarding and doggie day care. I am very flexible and can work around any schedule and pets schedules. I like to make sure pets in my care are comfortable by sticking to a schedule. I have a big yard for my dog to play in. My dog is a big love bug, who just wants to play. Usually I take care of my family’s dogs at their houses which have fenced in areas.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Springville
Margus was a major blessing to have in a last minute pinch! He's solidly dependable for pet parents and their babies! My kitties were so excited to see him and he gave them lots of cuddles of course! You can definitely tell that Margus has a true effection and love for animals and sitters like him are a fine addition to Rover and our local area. We'd book him again when he's available, for sure!
Will was great with our dog! She was a recent rescue and very suspicious of new people. Will gave her some space, was patient and kind and they soon became best buds! We were gone for 10 days and he sent pictures every day - which gave us peace of mind that she was thriving and happy while we were gone. Will is also very dependable and came 2X every day to give her a break and to exercise her (while our dog sitter was at work). I would certainly recommend him and will definitely be calling on him again.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Springville stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Springville. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
