About: I’ve taken care of, rehomed and have rehabbed dogs for quite a few years. I’ve taken in special needs dogs, and dogs that have had behavioral problems and have worked with them to reach their full potential. I love watching my family and friends animals and give them all of the comfort and loving they need. Oh, and also all of the snuggles! I believe in being able to read a dogs body language to make sure that they can be as comfortable as can be! I enjoy walking dogs and letting them sniff as much as they want for mental stimulation and to make sure they can be physically fit as much as possible. I’m currently working per diem at a nursing home. I’m looking to take up another job that I absolutely adore to fit into my schedule! I love to have a detailed list of the dogs needs and wants. I’m comfortable with crating animals and giving them positive rewards for good behavior! It’s all about positive reinforcement! I love to make sure your animal is as well taken care of as possible. I’m okay with using a few different tools for walking dogs as well.

About: I love dogs and like to walk dogs to earn some extra money for my household. I had a male Australian Shepherd named Gonzo who passed away 3 years ago when he was 10 years old. He was pretty big for his breed weighing in around 70lbs so I can handle big dogs. I took Gonzo to training classes which honestly trained me more than it trained him so I feel pretty confident in my dog handling skills. Gonzo had a fear of people which lead him to nip at people. We worked hard working with him to help him overcome this fear as best as we could. I think this experience has taught me a lot about reading a dogs emotions and catching signals before a bad situations appears. I now have a 2 year old mini aussie who we rescued named Betsy. We had to work with her to help her with her fear. She is finally in a place where she can comfortably encounter people and approach with no fear. Betsy gets a little excited around other dogs she's not allowed to approach but she is making excellent progress. Just like with Gonzo, we are socializing Betsy and training to give her confidence. A dog should be able to go on walks carefree and with a feeling of safety. I feel that a dog needs a confident yet a friendly companion while taking walks and I can provide just that. My schedule is a little sporadic so I dont have a set schedule and usually do one-off jobs since I can't guarantee a consistent commitment due to my odd schedule. I typically care for pets at their home. Depending on how your pet is around other animals and pets, I would consider taking care of your pet or pets at my own home. I have one dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon.

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have been pet-sitting since age 10 for family, friends, and neighbors. I have almost always lived with at least one cat or dog (or both!) throughout my life. I also have experience caring for rabbits, ferrets, gerbils, fish, parakeets, bearded dragons, and cockatiels. I currently live with two indoor tortoiseshell cats who are comfortable with dogs, and one of my cats is leash-trained. I have raised and trained at least 11 dogs from puppies to adulthood (3 as my own and the others for my parents). Most of my cats I adopted as teenagers, but I have raised a few kittens from a young age. I have done extensive dog training with the 3 dogs I raised as my own in the past, and I am familiar with both dog and cat training techniques. I live in a cabin the woods in Boston, NY, on a power line gravel road. Although I do not have a fenced in back yard, your dog will enjoy going on leashed walks down the power line road multiple times per day! I earn a living through a mix of substitute teaching (summer starts June 25th!), remote research and writing gigs, tutoring, child care, and pet care. I have a flexible schedule and incorporate pet care into the mix as much as possible because I love animals. If I am boarding a dog at my home, I will not be house sitting at that time (and vice versa). While boarding or house sitting, I will consider dog walking and drop-ins depending on the needs of the client and driving distance. If you board your dog at my home, my cats and I wake up early (about 6am) and I like to go outside for a walk down the power line road right away, and then eat breakfast. Your dog will be able to spend time with me all day (on a leash when we are outside), and if I need to leave my house, they will be in their crate for no more than 4 hours (2 is my strong preference). We will go for at least one more walk before dinner, too. I will be sure to give them plenty of play time and exercise throughout the day (depending on their level of activity and how hot it is outside). No matter what, they will get a lot of love and attention! I live in a cabin in the woods in the Town of Boston, NY, so although I do not have a fenced-in yard, there is very little traffic or people around. I will be able to go on long leashed walks with your dog down the power line for exercise, and there are a few friendly neighbor dogs that would love to say hello if your dog is up for that. I do live with two cats: one of them will hide a lot while your dog is here, but the other is very dog-friendly and will want to interact with your dog. I will monitor and separate them as needed (I have a spare room). I have always crate-trained my dogs and so long as your dog is comfortable in their crate, I will use it as a safe place for them to be while they are staying with me.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals in my life. Neighbors, friends and family have all relied on me to watch their pets including barn animals. I’m currently working part-time so i’m looking for something that I can do on the side. I’m available 2 days of the week and every morning or late night. I have one cat and 2 dogs at home. Diesel is a 2 year old black lab and Rudy is a 3 year old pit mix. I enjoy taking them for walks or just hanging out in the yard throwing a ball around.

About: During my high school years, I attended a BOCES program specifically for small animal care. There, I learned how to handle and restrain many animals such as cats, dogs, and other small friends! I have three rabbits, two dogs, and my kitty. I have loved animals my entire life, and working with them has always been my dream! I hope to in the future, own a grooming/ dog daycare business! I have been employed as a supervisor at a dog daycare/ grooming salon for almost three years, so I am able to handle around up to 30 dogs by myself! With this job, I am able to determine the body language of dogs, and understand what it means. The dogs at my job have become my own, and I know every little detail about them! I have worked with all sorts of dog breeds, big and small & old and young. Loud barking, rough playing, and big messes do not bother me whatsoever. I am also a baby groomer- hoping to gain more skills soon! I can bathe and dry, clip and dremel nails, and do light scissor and clipper work. I work in East Aurora 5 days a week. Right now to make it easier on myself and for you to book, I am only accepting bookings on my days off or after work. But there hasn’t been a single day the past three years of my life I haven’t been around a dog.. Lol!! I will fulfill anything needed to ensure your pet is happy and healthy while in my hands! Your pet is my number one priority when I am with them.

About: I have my own dog named Finn who is a 1 year old newfiedoodle. He is pretty relaxed but we enjoy going on walks and hanging out. I have always loved pets and been happy to help take care of the pets of my family and friends. I currently have weekends off to be available for pets. I also do not work in the summer months (July and August) and have time to watch and walk pets much more often. Our yard is not fenced but we have 20 acres of land to go on safe walks with a leash. I also have a large crate and can crate if needed.

About: Hello! I’m Claudia Giallella and I’ve always loved caring for animals. In recent years, I have played and cared for chickens, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I love to send pictures and videos of your pets to show they are having fun and are happy while you are away! Caring for animals has always brought me so much joy and I love to meet new families that are in need for short or long term care for their pets! I am currently working part time at a hair salon, but am mainly focused on pet care. In my daily schedule I have plenty of time to do multiple stops a day to care and play with your pet(s)! I follow the instructions given and make sure I know exactly how you want your pet cared for. In addition to caring for your pet, I make sure the environment is tidy and clean prior to leaving each time.

About: I grew up with cats and my best friend had dogs. I would always help her take care of them and took care of cats as my best friends. When I met my fiancé he had a 5 year old beagle and I fell even more in love with dogs. My dream one day is to open a senior dog sanctuary, but until then, I will take care of my own dogs and help others care for theirs! Our pets are part of our families and they deserve the best treatment. I work from home with a consistent schedule and am available for walks and check ins after 3:30pm during the week and any time during the weekend. I have 2 small beagles who love all dogs and love to play. They will make great play mates and walk companions to keep your pooch company.

About: In my life, I always had pets/family members to care for and love. I enjoyed walking them, giving them baths, play with them and give them hugs and kisses. Today I have 9 dogs, Shih Tzu, Beagle, chihuahua/pomeranian mix, Black Labs, German Sheperds, Blue tick hound and a Saint Bernard, 3 cats and a bearded dragon of my own. I graduated BOCES in Small Animal Science were I did husbandry, clinic work, grooming and played with all types of small animals from mice, degu, birds, snakes, turtles, rabbits, dogs and many more for 2 years. I love all animals which is why I am a student at SUNY Oswego University with a major in zoology. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend.
