“Wow. Sierra is absolutely the best and Amazing would be an understatement!!!!This is the first time that my English Mastiff has been sat by someone other than my neighbor. She has won Maci over and I can tell the genuine care that she gives to my puppy. I received pictures and updates throughout the day and my puppy got belly rubs, attention and love.”

“Ashley was great with our dogs and made sure they were well taken care of. Her update was thorough and she took some great pictures. We will definitely try booking with Ashley the next time we need someone to check in our pups!”

“Was very impressed with how well the babies were taken care of and would definitely recommend booking with Liliana. She was so sweet to my babies even the scaly ones. Thank you for taking good care of my babies.”

“Kari was awesome! She did everything we asked of her, was ever responsive to messages and gave us no doubts that our babies were ok. Thank you so much! Will definitely be booking her in the future!”

“I recently booked Brandy and couldn’t be happier. She scheduled a meet & greet first so my two fur babies could feel safe with her, which I really appreciated. She’s always on time, friendly, and you can tell she truly loves my pets by how she interacts with them. I’ve already booked her again and will keep using her. If you want someone reliable and caring, definitely choose Brandy!”

“Amanda was absolutely amazing! Our dogs loved her, and she was incredibly kind and attentive. She truly went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and well cared for. Her communication was great which made everything so much easier. I would recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and exceptional pet care!”

About: I had a a mixed breed dog she lived until she was about 11 years old. She had a heart murmur and a really bad knee so I know how to help support a dog that might have health problems or mobility issues. I have taken care of another larger dog of border collie blue heeler mix that has battled dislocating hips, throwing out her back and cancer. She is 11 now I have worked with a senior Great Pyrenees and I know these aren’t dogs, but I have taken care of multiple rescue animals from anything from fish all the way up to a cat and I have nursed every single one of them back to health so I do have experience giving animals medicines My schedule is a little bit all over the place. I never really know exactly what days I am off or not but as of right now, I should be available between 11 a.m. to about 2 PM but depending on the day I can work later I will make sure that your pet will not get into anything. It’s not supposed to make sure your pet does not escape your house. I will follow your instructions of how you want me to take care to your pet if your pet is to be let outside in a gate I will make sure that the gate is locked and secured if your dog needs to be chained outside. I will make sure that the chain and whatever it is secure to is stable and the dog will not get loose. I will ensure your pet safety if I’m walking your dog or if it’s in your house, I will make sure that no other animal comes after your pet. If I am at your home, I’m not gonna let anybody into your home that you do not personally know and without your verbal consent that that person can enter your home.
“This is my second time booking with Dewayne and he is absolutely great. This was a last minute booked I needed and Dewayne came to the rescue. He even went out of him way to do my dishes so I came home to a clean house. Thank you so much!”

“Lillian was very helpful with my animals. She was on time for each visit and did some extra playing with my animals which I really appreciate she communicated with me very well if she wasn’t sure about anything, but she did an amazing job and my animals loved her. Definitely will be booking with her again.😊😊😊😊😊”

“Shayla has been my go to Rover mom for 4 years now for my little dogs but this time I chose her for drop in service for my big dog. She followed our instructions for the service and provided amazing service and extremely professional. She met with us prior to starting the service so everyone would feel comfortable. I would use her again!!”

“Nakita was wonderful with my dog Hanzo during Christmas. She was kind, attentive, and treated him like her own. She made sure he was walked, fed on time, and well cared for. Her communication was great, and she was always punctual and reliable. I had total peace of mind and will definitely book her again in the future. Highly recommended!”

“Highly recommend Timothy! I needed last minute help with my 2 pups (lab and great dane) and it was perfect! The boys were taken care of and happy! Great communication and on time for my appointment! I will be using him again for sure!!!!! 10 🌟!!!!!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
