“This was the second time Nicole stayed at our house with our dog Buster while we were out of town. We were away for 10 days out of the country and we were very worried about Buster because he has stomach issues. Nicole was wonderful with him! She accommodated his routine and made him feel very comfortable. Nicole was very proactive - she noticed Buster having more stomach problems after a few days and she contacted me to discuss it. Medicine from the vet was delivered and Buster was back to normal! Nicole is very sensitive to his needs, and she did not mind when he woke her up one morning at 4am to go out. Having Nicole enabled us to enjoy our vacation, knowing she would address any issues that come up. She will be coming again to stay with Buster soon!”

About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs and cats, including pit bulls, golden retrievers, poodles, senior dogs, and tabby cats. I’ve also cared for pets with medication and dietary needs, including both oral and injectable medications. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. Whether that means a long walk, plenty of play and attention, sticking closely to their feeding routine, or simply giving a nervous or senior pet some extra patience, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I’ll keep you updated with how your pet is doing and treat your pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I currently work evening shifts at my family’s restaurant in Darien, so I’m generally available for pet care during the mornings and afternoons, as well as some evenings. My work schedule does not interfere with housesitting, and I’m able to provide attentive care throughout the day and overnight. For walks and drop-in visits, I’m happy to work around my evening schedule and coordinate times that work best for you and your pet. I have a fenced-in yard and a very docile and friendly golden retriever. She’s 11 and gets along with every animal she meets. When taking care of a pet at client’s homes, I prioritize leaving it in the same or better condition than I found it.

“Anastasia dog sat our dachshund for 2 weeks and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable. She is warm and friendly and a great communicator. She spent a lot of time with our dog during the day which is what we wanted and he actually seemed tired when we returned which was a relief and we were happy he wasn’t in his crate for long stretches. Our dog really loved her and I loved getting pictures of them snuggling on the couch. I was able to relax and not worry about his care and him being left in crate unstimulated for most of our time away which made me so happy. Our dog can be nervous at first with new people and she patient with him. Highly recommend and will use again!”
