About: Been taking care of pets in the Spring Lake area for 5 years. I enjoy taking them for long walks and getting them the exercise they need. Currently available most days. I grew up with a golden retriever and have always enjoyed taking care off other peoples dogs. First with friends and family, then on other dog walking apps. I'm conscientious and respectful. About: I've always had two dogs in my household growing up, and now I am fortunate enough to have a pup of my own, Igor! He is a wonderful pup that I have had a positive training experience with, and I am always looking to improve his work. I have consistently handled medium and large sized dogs, as well as have experience with Cats and small animals such as guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, gerbils, turtles, snakes, and just about any other pet you can think of! Pets have definitely always been a huge part of my life and I can't imagine life without them! I'm currently working part time in other fields as well as completing my bachelors degree, but I definitely love setting time aside for those who need to be taken care of and would love to help alleviate any holiday stress! I have a fence within my yard as well as have a well-walked routine in my surrounding neighborhood. In addition, there is a private space for small animals to reside.

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sylvan! I was pretty nervous about leaving my cat for 17 days since he’s very attached to me and I’ve never been apart from him for that long. But meeting Sylvan instantly put my mind at ease—I could tell right away that she’s a true animal lover. She was incredibly kind and flexible, and I appreciated how she sent lots of updates and pictures during her visits. She really went the extra mile when my cat had a few accidents on the carpet, bringing her own carpet cleaner to tackle the stains. Plus, she noticed a large knot that had formed on his neck and took care of it, which was such a relief since my cat has long hair and requires regular grooming. By the end of my trip, my cat had totally warmed up to her and was even purring during her visits. I’m so grateful for Sylvan and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again in the future!”

About: I was born into Cat Life. Aside from my time in college, I have always had a cat. I've almost never met a cat that I could not vibe with. The typical scenario is as follows: I see a cat, the cat sees me, we are instant homies. But the truth of the matter is that dogs and I have a mutual respect as well. I've had several dogs in my life and I am certain that to each of them I was also their dawg. It's a beautiful thing. Dogs appreciate my active lifestyle and enjoyment of the outdoors, while cats know and understand that I can chill pretty hard too. Both dogs and cats alike appreciate my calm demeanor and respectful treatment. We all deserve that. You want a trustworthy, personable, and punctual pet sitter? I'm your guy. I'm a self-employed home improvement contractor and I just relocated with my wife to NJ from ME. While I work to rebuild my client base my schedule will be a bit more flexible than normal. When I am re-established and running at full speed, I will still need time to rest my body and what better way than to spend that time with well-behaved pets?!? I have an elderly cat, Gladys, who I love dearly. She is literally curled up on my lap as I type this out. She greets me at the door like a dog, follows me around the house, cuddles up to me whenever she can, and knows she can rely on me to provide her a nightly snack. If I had a dog it would be no different. Rest assured, I won't try to replace you as your pet's "parent" but they'll probably see me as the cool uncle.

About: I am an animal lover and long time dog owner. I am currently living in an apartment which does not allow pets. I understand the anxiety that comes with leaving your fur baby behind while traveling or for a long day at work or play. I would like to provide for you the peace of mind required to relax and know your pet is under the very best care. My work schedule is very flexible. I am available most days, evenings and overnighters if need be. My weekends are also open for scheduling purposes. I am unable to care for pets at my apartment but I am more than happy to care for your pets in their own environment in your home.
