About: Transparency is important to me, so I want pet parents to know I work full-time in Mount Pleasant during the weekdays (7:30 AM–4:00 PM). Because of my commute from Summerville, I’m unable to leave work early before 4:00 PM. This schedule works best for pets comfortable during the workday, and I’m fully available for evenings, nights, and weekends.. Communication is very important to me — I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know your pet is safe and cared for. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely comfortable and confident while they’re apart. About: Hello! My name is Alex, I am 30 years old and I am from the summerville area! I have 1 dog of my own at home that I have been responsible for; I have always had a dog or cat in my life. I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I am able to help you with your fur babies as much as possible and what is convenient for you! My schedule varies, but I am available to walk your pets early morning and later afternoons. I am able to let them out at your convenience. About: I have grown up in a house with multiple animals my whole life. My dad is a professional dog trainer so I have grown up with a background of being able to read and understand dogs. My family also breeds Shorthairs so I'm very well rounded. I have worked in vet's offices for 10 years, and have had many years of animal care experience in different fields. I have been a petsitter for around 15 years, and my business grew by word of mouth. My daughter and son love to travel with me so kid friendly dogs are preferred. I am currently a stay at home mom, so I am free any day of the week and most any time you may need me. My schedule is very flexible as long as my son can travel with me. I will always do meet and greets with the pets and owners to make sure we are a good fit. I will follow all instructions given to me by the owners to keep the animals feeling safe. Due to some recent issues with bully mixes and my two pups, I am not boarding any dogs mixed with pit bull in my home. I apologize for any inconvenience. My husband and I work together to keep the best schedule for our animals and those that are staying with us. Breakfast is done by my husband before work and I take care of the dogs the rest of the day! I have a fully fenced in yard. Dogs are allowed to run the entirety of my open concept downstairs. I have a gate up to prevent them from going upstairs to the kids bedrooms. Dogs are all fed in their kennels (including mine) to prevent any food aggression issues. Dogs are all kenneled at night and when I leave the house (which is rare) during the day.

A safe environment is crucial! Steps that I take to create that include: ensuring the dog is leashed before going outside, unless there is a fenced yard that the client has approved us to go in. Listening to the client's requests and fully understanding the dog's/cat's personality. Asking important questions such as "how does the pet interact with other people or pets?". Providing the right amount of food, plenty of water, and administering any prescribed medications.

That's why we are opening up our schedules and offering our hearts up to your pets so you can have peace of mind while at work or out of town. If we're visiting your pet at home or going for walks, we'll will bring our full hearts and excitement with us (probably with a couple well behaved kids in tow) just as their own human would. We homeschool our kids and work from home, so our schedules are usually pretty wide open to fit most of your pet's needs, from drop in visits to custom timed walks. We have a handful of both dogs and cats at home that all require something different. Our oldest dog is 15, and our youngest is a year. Our oldest cat is 12 and our youngest is 2. We'd follow basic care guidelines as well as any special instructions you set for your pet, and treat your pet with the same respect we'd treat our own.
