About: Transparency is important to me, so I want pet parents to know I work full-time in Mount Pleasant during the weekdays (7:30 AM–4:00 PM). Because of my commute from Summerville, I’m unable to leave work early before 4:00 PM. This schedule works best for pets comfortable during the workday, and I’m fully available for evenings, nights, and weekends.. Communication is very important to me — I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know your pet is safe and cared for. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely comfortable and confident while they’re apart. I grew up with a sweet black lab named Jessie, and those 13 years taught me everything about feeding, walking, playing, and giving pets the love they deserve. A safe environment is crucial! Steps that I take to create that include: ensuring the dog is leashed before going outside, unless there is a fenced yard that the client has approved us to go in. Listening to the client's requests and fully understanding the dog's/cat's personality. Asking important questions such as "how does the pet interact with other people or pets?". Providing the right amount of food, plenty of water, and administering any prescribed medications.

“I am new to Cane Bay and selected Raina due to her affinity for cats. I had a feeling she’d be perfect for my little girl who has a tendency to be very shy, and I look for someone with calm energy because she responds best to that kind of person. I was not disappointed! Raina was amazing. She engaged in play time each day with Persephone but also allowed her time to bask in the sun on the enclosed porch (her favorite spot) 😁 And if Persephone just wanted to chill during Raina’s visit, Raina allowed space for that too rather than trying too hard to get her to play. I highly recommend Raina to care for your little ones when needed! Five stars! ⭐️”
