My father was a dog breeder (pitbulls <3), so being surrounded by puppies and dogs is something I've become accustomed to! I have experience with dog walking and sitting multiple breeds at once and administering medication as instructed. While dog sitting at your home, I'll also tend to any messes that are made, bring your newspapers/packages/mail, and give you thorough daily updates of what's going on around the home. I can work with dogs that pull. I prefer to use a waist leash (I have my own) while walking dogs since it allows me to be hands free and have more control with your pet. Of course, if you prefer your pet's own leash, that's fine too. :) I am self-employed so I am able to make my own schedule for work days and hours. If extended stays or additional pets need longer periods of care, I can adjust to these changes. When pet owners provide me with particular details on how to care for their pets (feeding schedules, administering medication, crating, etc.), I will be a able to provide proper care for any pet.
About: I’ve never lived without a dog, so I have life experience playing, feeding, walking, and bathing pups. I helped raise and train my parents’ Golden Retriever puppy during COVID. I’m the go-to sitter for friends’ dogs and have experience with giving oral medication safely. I work full time, but remotely on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays and can easily take a break to take care of your baby. Weekends are fully open, unless out of town. Dogs must be equipped to be okay with strollers. In home they will be in our garage that is heated and air conditioned it's attached to our home and our entry way. It is a second living space. We live on 2 acres that hoping to get fenced in the next year. We like hiking so your dogs into that please have all flea and tick things they require. All dogs must be vaccinated and up to date on shots as we have 2 dogs. All dogs must be good with small children. Home sitting /walking in mostly available afternoon night time. Dogs during these 2 services do not need to be good with small children as my child will not be with me. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
