About: I was raised around animals, including horses and a beagle kennel. Then, I had a sweet chihuahua for 13 years that I raised and trained from a puppy. I really do love all animals, and timid cats usually take a liking to me. I’m currently working part time, so pet care fits in to my daily schedule very well. I’m flexible with availability and commute, and read care instructions carefully. I have a two story house with a unfenced backyard that I can watch small to medium sized pets. When going to client’s home, I follow care instructions very closely and provide lots of love and attention for the fur babies.

About: Hi! My name is Plachette, and I've lived with various pets since I was a child. My father was a dog breeder (pitbulls <3), so being surrounded by puppies and dogs is something I've become accustomed to! I have experience with dog walking and sitting multiple breeds at once and administering medication as instructed. While dog sitting at your home, I'll also tend to any messes that are made, bring your newspapers/packages/mail, and give you thorough daily updates of what's going on around the home. Upon request I'm able to provide proof of having 5 star ratings for 150+ services I've already completed for other pet parents. For dog walks, I'm capable of handling small to gigantic dogs. I can work with dogs that pull. I prefer to use a waist leash (I have my own) while walking dogs since it allows me to be hands free and have more control with your pet. Of course, if you prefer your pet's own leash, that's fine too. :) I am self-employed so I am able to make my own schedule for work days and hours. If extended stays or additional pets need longer periods of care, I can adjust to these changes. When pet owners provide me with particular details on how to care for their pets (feeding schedules, administering medication, crating, etc.), I will be a able to provide proper care for any pet.
About: I’ve taken care or both cats and dogs for 14 years since I was 5. I’ve learned pets body language over the years and know just want they need . I have free time during the week to stay with your pets for a few hours and over the weekends I have can stay overnight to look after them. I will stay where I can see them when I am over and if they need their space I will allow them that but they are always monitored and if they go silent I will check on them constantly.

About: Dog owner since 1970. My property has TWO fenced in yards, one in front, and one in back, with a gate in between if needed. Dogs love me and I love them. ❤️ I have an older service dog as well, and am able to help train a dog if needed. I'm semi-retired, so it's rare that your dog would be left alone at all, but if you're dog enjoys being left alone, that's always an option as well. Communication is the key.... feeding times, special needs, etc. I have everything needed to pet sit. My property has TWO fenced in yards, one in front and one in back with a gate in between. My home has whole house ac and vinyl flooring. I have 3 dogs to keep your dog company, or those two seperate fenced yards if requested or needed. I also have crates for dogs that enjoy that den feeling.

About: Since I was a child, people would bring strays or unbalanced animals to our house who would suddenly be calm and comfortable in my care. I spent a lot of time in nature and wild animals would often follow me home. I now have my Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and wrote an original thesis on clicker training for service dogs. I am on the Board and a trainer for Hero Puppies for Life where we train service dogs for heroes with PTSD. We use positive reinforcement and are focused around relational bond training. This sets the dogs up for success to support their humans. We also teach their humans how to understand their dog's instincts and communication. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
